Little-Known Galaxy - kay

Hi Everyone!

It has been a long journey for us to get here, and now it’s time for your journey to begin. Little-Known Galaxy is now available!

A huge THANK YOU to all of you for your support, encouragement, and feedback. It’s because of you the game has continued to grow past our dev days into something extra super special.

SPACE ALLIANCE NOTES:
  • Remember the game has full controller support and is 100% Steam Deck compatible. We’re just waiting our turn for verification.
  • Your demo save will work in the full release if you want to pick-up where you left off.
  • If you play the game, please consider leaving a review. Leaving a review means that we get to reach a larger audience and find other gamers who might like the game too.
  • We’re going to continue supporting the game, so if you find bugs or any issues, we will do our best to make it right. Feel free to reach out or find us on Discord to let us know.
  • One of the best compliments we can receive is sharing the game with a friend, co-worker, or family member. Indie games grow through small acts like these. Carbon and I are just two people, and we appreciate it more than you will ever know.
Enough from us, go play the game! We truly hope you all enjoy the game, and look forward to following all of your wild space adventures in Little-Known Galaxy.

With love,
Carbon & Kay

Rumble Club - andrusaurus

Version 1.1 of Rumble Club has just gone live, including a brand new game mode. If you like the game’s whacky gadgets, this one’s for you!

Introducing Gadget Game
In Rumble Club’s newest game mode, you’ve always got a Gadget at your disposal. Secure an elimination with a Gadget to automatically upgrade to another Gadget. Get 10 eliminations and win!

Play Gadget Game in the Points Mode playlist, and look for Gadget Game Only to show up as an event!

Here’s everything else new in Rumble Club v1.1:
  • See your Quest progress on the Elimination and Match Complete screen without having to go all the way out to the main menu
  • If you play in a Private Match with 16 total people, you’ll get Quest Progress
  • See a bug or something fishy in a match? Go to the replay and Report it to the Development team for investigation!
  • Sunset Shallows map now supports Deathmatch
  • Increased the speed that you can tap through Battle Pass rewards
Balance
  • Flower Pots can be thrown further and apply a strike when they explode
  • TNT now applies 2 strikes when it explodes
  • Ice Cubes from Ice Machine Gadgets last half as long to prevent clusters of ice cubes from piling up and creating a big mess in the area.
  • Added some more holes and danger to King of the Tilt to create more exciting fights in some areas where there was not enough danger.
  • Improved Item spawners on Punchie Plaza 2v2 and 4v4 to make the matches more interesting.
  • Increased the movement speed but decreased the maneuverability of the starting and respawn balloon item.
  • Updated the charge time for the Punch Tank. Instead of 0.75 to get to a 1 strike shot it now only takes 0.5 seconds to get to the first charge level. The second charge level is unchanged at 1.5 total seconds.
Bug Fixes
  • Fixed an exploit that allowed players to drop a stunned player they are carrying
  • Fixed numerous instances where Punchies could balance on rooftops
  • Fixed more instances of mismatched end-game placements
  • Other performance and loading improvements
Idle Anvil
The punchie overseers are watching you. If they catch you idling in a bad place on the map they will drop an anvil on your head. You have been warned.

Hello lovely people!

Patchy 1.2 is here!

⭐New Feature

The main menu now shows a little sun with 3 different states to add a bit more "closure" when finishing the game. The states are:
  1. Unlocked all shippies and solved all quests
  2. Unlocked all Upgrades from the chocolate store
  3. Unlocked all Achievements

🌎New Languages

🔎Tweaks/Balancing

  • Minelayer now drops mines, even when ship is not moving

  • Mines which auto-target enemies have now a splash damage radius of 50 (instead of 25) like the static ones
  • Laser Hulahoop and Rainbow of Love have their damage doubled
  • Rainbow of Love damage now scales with "Splash Damage Upgrade"

🐛Bugfixes

  • "Guidance to Boxies"-Upgrade appeared only once until a restart of the game
  • Enemies have not been added correctly to the statistics. Should be fixed now (meaning: players should achieve the limits quicker)
  • When resetting the game, these 3 achievements are NOT removed anymore: Destroy Enemies with Missiles/Rainbow of Love, Unlocked all Meta-Upgrades
  • Issue with sun shader on Mac should be fixed (white sprite corners)
  • Impact VFX from Mininglaser had sometimes incorrect positions
  • Sound for the end animation (the little sad/happy cloud) was sometimes missing

I hope you enjoy the changes! Have a lovely day! 🌞

Techtonica - lauren
Fire up Steam, you can test out v0.5 of Techtonica right now! An important note on this round of testing:

The v0.5 Public Test Cave branch will close on June 3 at 1pm EST.

If you want to hop in and test out Laser Games, and all the other cool updates, you have two weeks to do so! Check out the video below for some details on v0.5 of Techtonica and details on what’s coming.

So, why are we adding Laser Tag to Techtonica?

One thing we’ve always felt was missing from Techtonica is being able to mess around and goof off doing silly stuff. This breathes life into many of our favorite games, and we wanted to take that step with Techtonica! We love adding easter eggs like voice lines and hidden secrets, but we wanted to give players something they could control more on their own.

The upcoming Laser Tag update is a perfect example of this—it’s playful and fits right into our Base Building system, plus it ties in nicely with cool features like fast travel with the Nexus. Laser Tag allows players to take a break from automating their factories - just like the real Groundbreakers did! - while waiting for your factory to churn out those critical parts.

Laser Tag isn’t the sole focus of this update, either - we’re adding a new, fully voiced character who moves along the main story, Fast Travel points, a Ping Tool, buildable Glow Floors, Disco Floors, and Concrete Ramps, and even more that we haven’t shown off yet!

Want to watch the team player Laser Games?

This Thursday, May 23rd, we'll be playing v0.5 on Twitch from 1-2pm EST! Tune in to ask the team questions and check out v0.5 of Techtonica

Before we jump into the patch notes, a bit of housekeeping.

Things to Know About the PTC

Want to chat about the Public Test Cave? We’ve created a section on Discord just for you! Do not talk about features, narrative, and anything else you see in the Public Test Cave outside of the PTC channels. There is also a subforum on Steam to discuss PTC content. No one likes spoilers!

We would love to get your feedback on v0.5! The best place to give us feedback is on our PTC feedback website.

Your save files from the Public Test Cave will not work once you switch back to the main branch of Techtonica. Make sure you have backed up your main game before switching!

You can access the PTC by switching branches on Steam. Right-click Techtonica in your library, then select the “Properties” tab which will bring up a new window. Next, click “Betas”, and under Beta Participation, select the Public Test Cave.

The features in our updates are accessible in all supported languages; however, because these features are not yet finalized, they may not include translations of related in-game text. A 'TEMP' prefix or '???' indicates localized text that is not yet fully available.

As a reminder, the Public Test Cave is a work-in-progress build. Please be aware that PTC game content may not be complete, will contain bugs, and is subject to change.

Want some more details on how the Public Test Cave works? Check out this blog post!

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed a bug where belts were dipping into the ground in certain locations.
  • Fixed issue with a black patch in Moss Terrain texture that was visible when De-Tiling was turned off.
  • Fixed issue where Mining Drill MKIIs always consumed 1680kW ignoring the status of MDR PowerTrim Upgrades.
  • The Monorail Depot now shows which item is selected.

Known Issues for v0.5
Warning: there are some spoilers in the Known Issues section!
  • Multiple Nexus capture sound effects may play at once if the player exits and enters the loot Nexus range again.
  • Laser Game end voiceover involving Paladin will play before the player has rescued him.
  • Game Over screen UI elements might appear jumbled if a match is ended prematurely.
  • Monorail Poles are having an issue rotating right now!
  • CTRL is appearing in Nexus menus instead of the correct assigned input. It still works, it’s just showing the wrong tooltip!
  • Special event music cues will override the Laser Games music and it will not resume.
  • Playing for a long period of time and/or using Fast Travel to the Freight Elevator may result in the Freight Elevators's ports and plug not loading, making it not possible to complete the Freight Elevator repairs until the game is reloaded. Fast Travel may also turn machines invisible. A restart should fix this!
  • The Barracks door leading to the Mech Suit Parts during the Mirage quest line might not open. We're working on a fix for this!
  • Nexuses and Fast Travel are not currently working if No Quests is set.

We’re so excited to hear your thoughts on v0.5 of Techtonica! If you have any feedback for us, share it on our PTC website, in our Discord, or on the Steam subforum for the Public Test Cave. Thanks again and we will see you next week!
Fractured Veil - samzenpus
Aloha Thrivers!

Long before our Early Access release in January, people kept asking us if we had PvE and PvP-only servers. Our community’s feedback was that if we separated the servers they could group up with their friends for PvE only fun or stage epic battles in PvP. It was close to the top of our list so we’ve decided to split up the servers and now we need your help!

Now that things are updated, we want to hear your thoughts on what types of features you love the most about a PvE-only experience or how to amplify the PvP play style.

Since we split all of our servers into PvE, PvP, and PvEvP realms, our players can choose the experience they want whether it’s raiding player bases, storming the depths of a forgotten dungeon, or enjoying a bit of everything. There is now a server perfect for how you want to ride out the apocalypse!

PvE
When we asked players what they would like to see, a lot of folks mentioned wanting to have a PvE-only server so that when they logged out, they wouldn’t lose all their stuff if they hadn’t built up a secure base yet. We can’t help it if you forget to add windows to your base but we wanted to make it a bit easier to keep your stuff.

Here’s a list of our PVE servers
  • US WEST 03 PVE
  • US EAST 02 PVE
  • EUROPE 03 PVE
  • AU SYD 02 PVE

Players on our PVE servers can focus on dungeon crawls and exploring the dark parts of the jungle without the worry of being shot by other players. Some of the rules we’re considering for the PvE servers include:
  • Sleeping bodies should not be lootable, regardless of zone.
  • Players should not be able to access other players' containers unless the container is within a Totem and the players have been added to the Totem.
  • Increased total Totem and adjacent Totem size limit. (Maybe increase scales per zone?)

We’re still working on finalizing rules and would love to get your feedback so please join our discord and let us know what rules you’d expect us to implement.

PvP
While not as many people have asked for PvP-only servers we have had a few requests for a more gritty experience where fighting other players is just part of survival on the island. We heard you too.

Here’s a list of our PvP servers
  • US WEST 02 PVP
  • US EAST 03 PVP
  • EUROPE 02 PVP

Like our PvE servers, we’re still solidifying rules here too. There will still be a safe zone around the starting area to give those just starting out a chance to get established. We’d love to hear your suggestions about other rules you’d like to see.

PvEvP
For everyone else who liked the way our PvP and PvE rules worked before, good news! We have a bunch of servers that work just like you’re used to. The only new addition would be that sleeping bodies would not be lootable in PVE zones.

Here’s a list of our PvEvP servers
  • US WEST 01 PVEVP
  • US EAST 01 PVEVP
  • EUROPE 01 PVEVP
  • AU SYD 01 PVEVP

These servers allow players to experience a little of both play styles - testing the skills of players you run across in the jungle and helping to keep the mutant population in check while exploring the map. All of our player's feedback is important to us and we hope these changes make your experience of surviving in paradise a joy. Please let us know what you think about our new servers on our Discord!
Risk of Rain 2 - Gearbox_CM Joie

Version 1.10

Hello everyone! We're thrilled to unveil the latest addition to Risk of Rain 2: The Devotion Update! Packed with an array of exciting content, this free update addresses various item and map bugs across both the base game and the Survivors of the Void expansion. It also includes a super awesome collaboration…..

This update serves as a heartfelt token of appreciation to all who have contributed to making Risk of Rain 2 the phenomenal game it is today.

Let’s get into it!

New Content

Artifact of Delusion

Artifact of Delusion resets all chests once the teleporter event is finished and provides players the chance to receive additional items if they interact with the reset chests.
Whenever Players buy a chest before the teleporter event, the chest will remember what pickup was generated from it. After the teleporter event is finished Players can interact with chests that were previously bought (and have been reset). When the player interacts with the chest a small window will open up with three pickup options to choose from - one being the correct pickup generated from the chest, and two fake options will be mimicked from the Player's inventory. If the Player selects the pickup option that was originally generated from the chest, the Player will be given that item as a reward, making it so the Player has gained two items from that chest. If the Player selects the wrong pickup option, they will lose the item selected.

Artifact of Devotion

Replaces drones with interactive eggs that spawn Lemurian companions.

When interacting with an egg, a prompt pops up requiring a sacrifice of one item to spawn a Lemurian companion. The sacrificed item is given and applied to the recently spawned Lemurian. If multiple Lemurians are present in the party, items are shared between all Lemurians. Every teleport event survived by Lemurian companions triggers an evolution that gives them new attributes, makes them grow stronger, and gives an additional stack of the item they started with.

Devoted Lemurians start out with damage and health buffs equal to that of a normal elite to help them stay alive as well as scale according to the difficulty timer as other monsters. Each time a Lemurian evolves, they gain another stack of damage and defense buff to help their survival rate and incentivize players to stay ahead of the difficulty curve.

When Lemurians die, they drop a scrap of the same tier of item that they were given and their item is removed from the item pool.

New map: Verdant Falls

Verdant Falls is one of the lost regions players can explore in this new update. It’s a stunning map with a lush environment and allows players a lot of room to explore. We dive into more detail regarding this map and the other six maps coming to Seekers of the Storm in the Dev Diary here.

Crossover event with Dead Cells

A lot of you had the chance to play some Risk of Rain inspired content in Dead Cells a year ago so we decided it’s time to return the favor. Starting today a very special Mercenary skin has arrived in Risk of Rain 2 for all players. Drop in and take a look at it today. We think it will remind you of someone

Minor Bug Fixes

  • Forgive Me Please equipment no longer triggers on kill effect continuously
  • Artifact of Command no longer prevents Lunar Coins from spawning
  • Chest, Firework and Squid Turret exploit fixed
  • Demons and Crabs challenge unlocks normally

As ever - thank you to everyone who has given us feedback and reported bugs since the launch of the expansion, we appreciate each and every one of you! To keep up to date with any further updates please follow us on Twitter or join our Discord.

Until next time!
