We hope you're ready for the upcoming free prologue JDM: Rise of the Scorpion, coming in the summer of 2024! To make your wait a little more pleasant, today we're taking you behind the scenes of the car physics work in JDM.
While creating Japanese Drift Master, we pay a lot of attention to detail, as we care about your best driving experience. Recently, we invited professional drifters to the studio. They got behind the wheel of the cars in our game to share their feelings. Together with our programmers, they tested various forms of driving so that the latter could make changes and improvements to the cars' driving physics on an ongoing basis.
That's not all! In order to best translate drifters' experiences into mechanics in our game, we not only invite them for tests, but also visit them on the track.
We recently had the opportunity to become one of the sponsors at an event dedicated to Japanese car enthusiasts. Together with JDM Trójmiasto - organizers of JDM Track Day - we have prepared something special for the holders of JDM Track Day 2024 - Season Pass. Thanks to weztonagraj for the amazing shots! The season began on Saturday, May 11, at the Autodrom Pomorze - Driving Technique Improvement Center. Like previous editions, this one was a track workout where participants could show or boost their driving skills.
Thank you for being with us and giving your support. If you would like to meet us live and try out the tracks of Japanese Drift Master before the official release, we invite you to this year's Pyrkon on June 14-16, in Poznan (Poland). Together with the Jeremiah Kane band, whose songs you can hear in our game, we are preparing for you many activities and contests with prizes. Join our Facebook event so you won't miss the latest news. Participation in Pyrkon will be our first event, but we assure you that it will not be the last, and what's more - not only in Poland!
That's it for today, but we'll see you soon with another news. Remember to add the prologue of JDM: Rise of the Scorpion and the full version of JDM to your wish list on Steam and join our Discord. Stay tuned!

We wanted to share why we are doing a Kickstarter. And we'll first let Lunne and Estelle do the introduction!
For The Witch's Bakery, we want to do something different. We want to build this game with you. We want to show you the inner workings of game making as we go. Through our development, you can reach out to us, at any time. This is how we want to do bring our game to the world, and a Kickstarter would help us fulfill this!
We are doing a Kickstarter because we believe that with your help, The Witch's Bakery can bring more joy to more people. We want to add more languages so more people can enjoy our game. We also want to bring Voice Acting to support players who have difficulties reading. We want to share more of our world with you with more music, art and magic.
All of this requires time and resources that we do not have as we write these lines. But you can make it happen. You can help bring this world to life. You can help bring these characters together.

You can now refuel your THI Cargo Containers. This includes the ability to tune the propellant buffer.
You can give more detailed commands to your THICCs. This allows for new playstyles, including releasing the containers to follow you in a formation while you mine and only re-docking them for processed ore transfer.
The presence of some drones prevented the correct fracture of asteroids near them, resulting in worse yields with some playstyles. This affected mostly excavating asteroids with grinders and built-in excavators while having NT Mining Companions or THI Cargo Containers attached near such an excavator, but also lowered the yields from mining companions using their own grinders.
Adjusted spawning routines for ore in close proximity to other entities, such as ships, cargo holds, grinders and more. This should greatly improve the odds of having good yields when mining with an excavator or grinder directly.
Some drones did not power up their autopilots when released. Machines have a hard time flying when they are powered off. They will be turned on again.
The ship HUD boot sequence was missing from the Enceladus launch sequence cutscene.
On this week's HUMANITY Hub Community stream, we checked in on the latest stages created for this month's Stage Jam theme, STORY MODE REMIX. There are many great stages in there, now available as a playlist in-game, so please check them out. We also tried out some of Astroplayer's stages, which are available as a creator showcase playlist. We then finished by playing some of the newest arrivals to USER STAGES.
We stream HUMANITY weekly, usually on Wednesdays at 4 pm Eastern / 1 pm Pacific time. Stay tuned to our News posts on Steam to know precisely when we're streaming that week. We play through user-created stages, STORY MODE, and talk to other HUMANITY fans and content creators. Join the chat and hang out with us on our Twitch or YouTube channels.
Hello! Pushing live a patch with the small updates and bug fixes from developing the Nintendo Switch port of Before the Green Moon.
It should be safe to update with an active save but there is some save-data updating happening so please let me know if you encounter anything strange! (here or at turnfollow@gmail)
Adjusted the way that dialog is selected so less is skipped. This means that you should reach the end of a character's dialog more slowly and see more of it along the way.
Fixed campfires not triggering while Int is away.
Some art updates and tweaks throughout (check out the elevator at night)
Fixed an infrequent but serious bug where all crops, debris and items on the farm could be deleted.
Added a few points of interest to the archives.
Fixed lighting in character creator.
Fixed an issue with equipment not equipping correctly from storage.
Fixed a few places you could fall out of the map.
Added minor optimizations to increase frame rate, memory usage and load times. (particularly in the "Low" setting)
Other misc. balance tweaks and bug fixes.
Thank you for all of your support and for playing our game!
