I have an important update for you. As a solo game developer, your feedback is invaluable to me, and I'm excited to share that I’ve fixed a pesky bug that some of you reported.

Previously, there was an issue during the Game Over sequence where players were unable to restart the game and continue playing. I understand how frustrating this interruption can be, and I truly appreciate your patience as I worked to resolve the problem.

I’m happy to announce that this issue has now been fixed! You should be able to restart and continue your adventure in Invasion, Tales of Tower Defense seamlessly.

Thank you for your continued support and feedback. I'm committed to providing you with the best gaming experience possible, and I appreciate your help in identifying and fixing bugs.

It’s been a little over a month since we announced inKONBINI: One Store. Many Stories™ with a teaser trailer giving you a first glimpse of the game we’ve been working on quietly for a year.

To keep things under wraps for such a long time, and then to be able to see all the love and anticipation the game has been met with — honestly, nothing even comes close, and we at Nagai Industries are humbled by this kind of reception from players all over the world.

The amount of exposure inKONBINI™ has received throughout gaming media in the first weeks since the announcement has been instrumental in spreading the word and growing our community, but it’s your willingness to discover the game on Steam and to share your feedback that’s given us confidence it’s all been worth the efforts.

Now, we would like to express our sincerest gratitude to all of you for supporting our vision of a relaxing narrative-based simulation game and to share our excitement about the fact that inKONBINI™ has been wishlisted on Steam Store by more than 40,000 players as we’re writing this.

Continued work zeroing in on various issues related to innate abilities. This time around I was actually able to replicate some issues and address them without the guesswork. Making progress!

There have also been some minor balance adjustments to the Electromancer, who is now probably the most powerful class in the game. More small balance tweaks to come in 0.45.

  • Updated the way Innate abilities are cast. They will no longer auto-cast if the innate ability is held between activations.
  • The Electromancer innate, "Overcharge" now forces you to recharge your staff at the end. This was done both to address some bugs and better balance it.
  • The Electromancer innate, "Overcharge" can no longer be activated again while it's currently active.
  • The Electromancer innate, "Overcharge" now has a 0.5 second longer recharge time.
  • Fixed a number of issues that lead to the Ring of Innergy inconsistently applying the free Innate recharge. Certain fixes for the Electromancer in a recent patch caused this issue for the Cryomancer, specifcally.

I apologize in advance to anyone who may have triggered the bug of "Fool". I'm really a fool! But had fixed now^_^
  1. BUG: Fixed a bug that choosing the "Fool" tarot card and then selecting "Emperor" did not turn into game pause state.
  2. BUG: Fix a bug that all the "boots" need to move too far to generate objects!
  3. BUG: Fixed a bug that choosing the "Fool" tarot card and then selecting "Star" or "Wheel of Fate" would not take effect.

A color-pocalypse is happening and it's your turn to fix the mess that Lord Ashen did.
We've heard your feedback and implemented things you proposed to make the game not that annoyingly difficult. Many things are changed between 1.0.0 and 1.0.9, but for the prologue, whatever matters the most is what we did to the Slimes.

S.L.I.M.E. won't kill you on the slightest touch if you share a color
If you don't share color with a slime, keep distance, wait for it to jump or dash and then stomp it down.
If even one of your colors matches the Slime color, even if that slime dashes in front of you, your life is saved. This makes S.P.A.R.K. Forest much easier map to explore.

Hey all!

A lot going on this week in regards to Cosmic Kitchen! Firstly we're attending Barclays Games Frenzy 2024!! 🎉

This Thursday we will be showcasing a demo of Cosmic Kitchen at Barclays Headquarters in Canary Wharf! 🌌 🍳

We'll be showcasing a similar demo to the WASD 2024 version, but with some bug fixes and a few visual changes.

We will have further rounds of playtesting up to release and will post when we're looking for more playtesters! All playtesters will be credited in the game credits on release.

So what's next for Cosmic Kitchen?
We recently made the decision to delay Cosmic Kitchen to Q4 2024 rather than the original planned release date of Q3 2024, this is due to the feedback we received at WASD 2024.

The reason for this delay is to polish and add new features that weren't originally planned for Cosmic Kitchen, one of those being an Endless Mode!

Currently in Endless Mode you will be given a selection of modifiers (planets), to add to your space kitchen! Over time you will unlock new modifiers and recipes, as well as more monsters to serve! Let's just say we plan for things to get a bit chaotic.... Hehehehe!

This is still in the prototyping stage, so we're hoping to have something better to show in the near future!


Some updates are coming!
Our steam page is a tad bit out of date, so we plan to update it with new information on Cosmic Kitchen's gameplay as well as some new GIFs/Images. Currently Cosmic Kitchen will have a Campaign mode with at least 5 galaxies planned, as well as Endless Mode.

We are also considering adding up to 4 player co-op as suggested by many players at WASD 2024, this is something we're definitely looking into and will share more info in the near future!
