Introduction of a save backup system to prevent issues if a player's system crashes whilst the game is saving. Also some bug fixes reported by our [awesome!] community:

- Enabled directions game words to be reviewable in the spaced repetition system (SRS).
- Resolved issue where NPCs didn't spawn in the school learning environment.
- Fixed the pear item so that the button can be pressed during Learning Rush on Steam Deck.

I think it's the biggest feature since addition of food and can change core gameplay loop


Now after upgrading area twice the NPC will spawn. Each area has it's own unique NPC:

Forest:


Limestone:


Hardwood forest:


Sandstone desert:


Each of them mine their own resources, depnding on area they are in. And after they finish you can trade their resources for lower tier ones. Softwood logs for sticks, limestone for softwood, hardwood for limestone and sandstone for hardwood. Ratio is tweaked to be more profitable for player, but the tier of resource still counts.



After trading several times NPC will level up and will provide both better and bigger trade offers. This could help with both automatization and with utilizing lower tier resources, which ended up being completely useless at some moment of the game.


Adding objects earlier on areas upgrading allowed to unlock other things earlier. So I made skill workbenches and woodpecker birdhouse unlocked after the first upgrade of areas, since I noticed that some players didn't upgrade areas enough to reach these things. Now since all more content will be available eariler I hope less content will go unnoticed

You will be expected to:

I have just updated the game and need to keep testing for bugs.

First time i have done a stream so there might be problems at first.
I plan on streaming this whenever i test but im still not entirely sure how it works so we will see.

New updates address the balance and difficulty of trash mobs, the optional boss, and more.

- "Barrier" command now gives + 20 (+3%) EP upon use.
- Elya's "Bubble Shield" skills now scale via MAT. (+ MAT x 3)
- Elya and Floryn's starting spells scaling have been increased.
- Thrash mobs' damage output has been lowered. (ATK and MAT decreased by 5-10)
- Nightmare area dash restriction on first few maps have been removed.
- Nightmare area's unavoidable battles have been reduced, EXP gained have been increased.
- Nightmare area's final map will now allow players access to the shop and opportunities to grind.
- Optional Superboss' HP lowered by 10000, ATK and MAT decreased by 5, AGI decreased by 10, and their "Crystal Encase" shield decreased from 4 down to 3.
- Fixed some grammatical errors and redundant usage of proper nouns in dialogues.
- Added ambient background music during boss cutscenes.
- Fixed some tile issues in the desert map (2nd dungeon).

PDD: Ah, man, in this crazy world, everyone's gotta recharge, right? Some folks, they just need a good hug, you know? Others? Well, they could use a good old-fashioned charging cable, but not Kajun. Nope, she's gotta do her maintenance recharge. And let me tell you, those cables she uses? They're definitely not Type C. You know, the universal standard? Nah, we're talking some old-school, proprietary stuff here. But hey, whatever gets the job done, right? Gotta keep the gears turning and all that jazz.

PDD: Kajun's had it up to here with her clunky armor, you know? She's all about that minimalist kinda clothes now. Like, she's trading in the heavy-duty gear for something a little more... breezy. Picture this: Kajun, kickin' back in a bikini, just going about her daily grind, and yeah, things might get a little wet and wild in the process, if you catch my drift. It's all about that laid-back, carefree vibe, you know what I mean? There will be a whole set of different outfit for you to unlock and try out!









PDD: Er, like almost every idea which sound nice on paper but then when you implement it in practise it fail ! So, I was always want to .... well playing whack-a-mole game on a girl back lol, and imagine if Kajun-chan asking for a back massage. So, being the good sport that I am, I give it a shot. Let's just say, it turned out to be a hot mess visual-wise.



So I decided to fall back my safer plan, which you can check it out in the next update - the new Mini Game - Punching bag!


PDD: Alright, so Kajun's been dealing with some serious back pain lately. Well you know why... of course because of those big ass armor plates she is wearing! That's gotta be rough. So, I suggest to her, "Hey, why not try some yoga poses?" That also help tone down her aggressive and rage abit. I recommend her the classic cat-cow pose. Trust me, it's like the holy grail for back pain relief. And get this—now you can even watch her bust out those moves in the Photo mode of the game!



PDD: You know what Kajun-chan loves more than anything? Slaying those Tentamons. But to keep up with those slimy critters, she's gotta stay on top of her game. That's where I come in—I'm her personal trainer, of course! And let me tell ya, boxing is her go-to workout. It's like her own version of cardio, but with a lot more punching involved. Plus, have you seen her in that bikini? She's not just slaying tentamons, she's slaying fashion trends too. (If you want to be Kajun’s sand bag, apply below)






PDD: You remember that epic egg hunt we had, right? Well, get ready for the next level because in my upcoming update, you'll be able to see all the eggs you've collected. It's like a trophy room, but way cooler—kinda like showing off your conquests, but with eggs. So, whether you're a seasoned egg hunter or just starting out, get hyped because you're about to have a whole collection to brag about. 🥚🏆

PDD: So, you know how sometimes I just burn through all my creative fuel and end up doodling stuff that's not even ready for the game yet? Well, I went ahead and did it again. Presenting to you: Millennial Witch. But this time, in all her colorful glory. I mean, come on, you gotta admit she looks pretty mesmerizing, right? Who knows, maybe one day she'll make her grand debut in the game. But for now, we'll just admire her from a distance.






PDD: Alright, so to back up what I just said, feast your eyes on this boss lady right here. I have no clue when she's gonna pop up in the game, but let me tell you, she's a real piece of work. Short, angry, and totally inspired by Doom's Marauder. You know, the one with the crazy axe and attitude to match. Who knows, maybe she'll make the cut for Shred & Tear part II. But hey, we'll cross that bridge when we get there, right?
