Knightly Passions - FEYADA

Dear friends,

Today, we’d like to share our plans for the near future with you. We’re pleased to report that the next chapter of the story of the hunter and his sister won’t remain a mystery forever; we unequivocally will not leave it untold.

Knightly Passions is our first project. We’ve hit an awful lot of bumps over the past five years in the course of bringing you the game you see today. Our small team has picked up some incredible experience, so you can count on us to continue making the best, highest-quality games we can.

Our lead artist, Lodi, says that it’s time to freshen up our art a bit. It’s very good, but he’s had to make some adjustments and compromises over the years to fit the course we first set five years ago. It bears mentioning that Lodi has drawn 99% of the whole game, and he’s been struggling to find an assistant artist since every artist has their own distinct visual style. He truly loves this project and all the people who’ve been working on it, which is why he reached out to artists who wanted to work with him. Basically the full graphical load rests on Lodi’s shoulders (everything from the adult scenes to the tiniest UI elements), and that has been slowing down the game’s development. Just think: Nearly the entire game is drawn by a single, solitary person, who hand-crafts every image down to the smallest detail. It’s an extremely difficult job, one that no artist should have to do alone.

After speaking with him, we’ve come to understand that he’d like to find an assistant artist who’s a cut above the rest. If you or someone you know is an artist who fits that bill, please send us a message in Discord:

So, what comes next? What is Team FEYADA doing for the rest of this year?

We’re slowly updating and putting the finishing touches on the game as we release bugfix patches. Players should be able to play through Knightly Passions from start to finish without encountering a single bug; if people manage to find more bugs, rest assured we’ll be continuing to fix them in updates. Our attention was recently drawn to some balance issues with the Tactical difficulty mode, which has proven to be fairly easy. In addition to bugfixing and polishing, we’ll be working on making Tactical mode as difficult as we originally meant it to be. Trust us, you’ll see the game in a whole new light when you’re having vivid, intense battles with your foes.

We’ve also been planning to add support for additional languages to the game. The first language in line is Chinese. However, before we start introducing new translations to Knightly Passions, we need to ensure the game is polished to perfection, which is what we’re doing now.

We’d also like to add voice acting to our characters during adult scenes. If you all support the idea, we’ll absolutely include it in a future update.

Now, let’s talk about upcoming releases. We intend to release two DLCs by the end of this year:

DLC #1 will be released this summer.
DLC #2 will be released this winter.

In addition to everything above, we’ve already begun formulating plans for another project. The formal announcement of that project is scheduled to happen before the end of the year.

Genome Guardian - Alpherior
Here come the first turret & perk additions (and there's lots more to come, including new game modes)! Not sure how I'll deliver content additions in the future, but for now, have some new turrets & perks to tide you over. Don't forget, you still need to meet their unlock conditions before you can use them - you can see their unlock conditions in the CHECKLIST menu.

NEW CONTENT:
  • (Turret) Commander: All projectiles fired seek towards your crosshair, so you can manually guide them into microbes!
  • (Turret) Maw: A giant, monstrous turret(?) that eats microbes to gain Health! (try pairing Maw with the Magnet perk!)
  • (Perk) Mushroom: Overheating eliminates all microbes (can be used once per wave).
  • (Perk) Tweezers: Accuracy +60%, but there's a 10% chance that you lose 1 Health every time a projectile dissappears before it could hit a microbe.
  • (Perk) Cherry: +50% chance for +1 Health per elimination with a Critical Hit, but Critical Damage is reduced by 50%. There's some crazy healing potential with this one…

BALANCE:
  • (mutation) microbes are completely insane: Now a bit less insane (microbes won't move quite as fast).

CHANGES:
  • Checklist, Turret & Perk menus have been expanded to show empty placeholders for future content - as new game modes / turrets / perks are added to the game, they will appear in those spots (after you meet their unlock conditions, that is). (NOTE: these menus will look busier now, but I felt that having all icons on-screen at once would still offer a better play experience than if I were to, for example, separate them onto different pages.)
  • Barrel Light "Cone" would practically dissappear if Accuracy was too good, but not anymore.

FIXES:
  • Fixed some cases where, when Range was reduced by more than 50%, it would apply an extra steep Range reduction.
  • The Radar perk will now properly reveal invisible microbes (they were appearing totally black previously).

EDIT: Working on resolving issues with Maw + Magnet causing microbes to get pulled through/past the turret - found a fix and it will be implemented soon!

We added much eatable and drinks all with different properties.



    Now you can use the beach buffet to eat fast foods or drink something, but it more expensive than...



    Yes, we made a cooking system. So now you can make foods at home in a pot or in a camp in a cauldron.



    In every good thing there is some bad... You need to store your foods in the fridge if you don't want to eat spoiled foods. If you eat spoiled food your health is decreased.



  • New stands at the market: Some food buyable only at the market.





  • Game start window: Now you can turn off the new player stats when you start a new game.



  • New enemy animal: Bear: Yes now the game has an enemy in the freemode too. Make more attention when you in the forests if you don't want to get fight with a bear.

  • More Game state save opportunity: Now you can save six saves in one time and if you don't have more save slot you can replace the saves with new games.




    If you are worried about how the new system will affect to your old save, we have good news for you. You don't need to do anything with old save files, simply play the game and you see your old save converted verison in the load menu.



  • Vehicles seats: We made a new system with new techniques for having seats system. Now you need to look at the seat what you want to have. This is the last step to make a perfect passenger experience in the Co-op mode and this fix a lot of bug what the old system made.

About Co-op Mode


Dear Villagers! Now we start to develop the co-op mode in smart steps and the goal is to make a perfect co-op mode what we can play together with you and we can experience all beautiful element of game together.

The plan:
When we reach the first playable version, we will come with it out and start open beta in an update and after then develop it with small updates and test it together.

1. Three new doors have been added (some players previously said that our doors were too few, but still gave the game a good review, thank you.)


2. The voice commands for renewal and departure caused by satisfaction can be turned off simultaneously. (There is feedback that there are too many such voices in the later stage, which is annoying)


3. Esports players will be ranked according to their esports events. (At present, drag sorting cannot be achieved, and we will optimize it again in the future)


4. Modify the scope of the yellow alert for computer maintenance. Avoid exploding at 3x speed without being able to handle it in time.
5. Fixed a bug where fatigue did not recover during "maintaining friendship" dating.
6. In the plot mode, there is an error in the description of a target.
7. The number of trophies built is consistent with the number of championships won.

Cash Cow DX - zapposh
Update 1.10 brings only one change to Cash Cow DX, albeit an all important one:
player controls!



After experimenting with alternative schemes for quite some time, the change of direction mechanic was bugging me, and has now been rebuilt to be instantly reactive, as opposed to the previously slippery and weighted movement.

Even seasoned players should appreciate the change.
It’s nice having more control, and the game feels much more snappy and dynamic as a result.
