Setting up new content for mid-late game that considers and adapts to the many choices players has been pretty challenging, but so rewarding <3 All that to say I got a fun new quest for you guys!

Release Notes 0.8.6:
Features: After learning about Nyx, you can now let Abel know about your discovery. He will then give you a quest to restore an ancient artifact that was rumored to be crucial in overcoming Nyx. You must then find the two missing pieces of the artifact to restore it to its former glory. Two seperate encounters hold the missing pieces, you'll have to convince them to give them to you.= (This quest works even if Abel is corrupted and exiled.)

Balancing: "Codex Passion" healing is now percentage based. Reduces healing based on Corruption. "Incorruptible" now grants 5% crit chance and 10% strength per rank (from 5% cc, 10% str)
Bugfixes: Fixed an issue where size was not properly set after a fight. Fixed achievement progress sometime getting lost when upgrading save files. Fixed bad display of Ethrex's stats in some passages. Fixed the abomination achievement.
This version is NOT compatible with saves from 0.8.5 but you can restart the game with your Essence, Achievements and Exp from older saves.

Old event maps removed from the build. From now on unlocked gameplay area in the minigame (clicker events) assignes as an adult content in the gallery.
Increased Nerobi's invincibility by half a second after taking damage.
Maximum Nerobi focus points are now automatically added to checkpoint respawns.
Increased the Hand Demon's cooldown between attacks by half a second.
Added checkpoint halfway through the first demon stomach in the Lost Ruins chapter.
Fixed trap bone in the descent of the first demon stomach in the Lost Ruins chapter.
Moved the first mechanism slightly to the right so it can be activated with the activation power when Nerobi is above the ruin on the right in the Lost Ruins chapter.

🐛 Fixes
NPCs no longer stand in place, you should see less instances of them standing on top of each other
Mines could still crash because the poor bat was falling into the pond. We have removed the bats for now
Issue with Cabin Bookshelf, Softwood Bookshelf, and Traditional Bookshelf not being able to place items on the top surface
⛏️ Mine Balance
Due to having more floors, I've nerfed the Myst Crystal drops from the node and the Slimes
In the same vein of logic, the amount of iron ore drop has also been reduced
Now, the boulders and fern plants are also destructible - they have a chance of dropping Limestone and Sandstone
New cooking area in the mine lobby - prepare yourself before you dive in!
New lore bit in the mine lobby...foreshadowing of what's to come in the mine rework

Better snow: winter time should give you less snow blindness
In Darker theme, the snow and white in general is way clamped down
Corn in Desert Canyon Obelisk was changed to Daikon to align with MIAO grocer better. If you were in progress, it will refund your items to your overflow storage
New Features - added taverns in Dragon Cliffs, New Port, Crab Beach, and Sage Hills - in each tavern you can now find an NPC who can share gossip about recent trade activity on the island in exchange for a drink - NPCs will now turn their head to look at you when you approach them - the sprint thirst bar will now only show up after you sprint for at least one second, instead of immediately
Bug Fixes - lanterns hanging on the outside of your ship should now be much less likely to fall off or disappear randomly - possibly fixed some cases where hanging items such as shelves would become detached whenever you visit a shipyard - fixed a visual bug with the boat spray particles in thick fog
