The veiled woman traversing moonlight ‘Lightning-fast Arrow’ Aurora has arrived. The "One Week’s Journey" event is now live, offering a range of enhancement materials for logging in daily over a week. Together with the rebooted "Fateful Encounter," this event supports the progression of all Masters of the Book who join us in ASTRA: Knights of Veda. From Thursday to Sunday, experience the thrill of survival in the "Arena Survival – For the Thrill of Survival" and face new challenges in the "Tower of Trials." Prepare to discover your enhanced abilities!

"I followed the thread of destiny"
Every time the moonlight appears, Aurora vanishes suddenly, her true intentions known to none. She roams the world in search of the Book, concealing her innermost thoughts, leaving her true motives wrapped in mystery.
"Aurora" is a Light-type ranged dealer, wielding a large bow. When she deals CRIT DMG with her Normal ATKs, she gains the "Retribution" effect to amplify DMG dealt. Her Normal Skill, "Arrow Festival", allows her to dodge backwards while firing arrows to keep incoming enemies at bay. Her Signature Skill, "Light-Speed Kicks", deals DMG to nearby enemies, and after dealing CRIT DMG for a period of time, she gains the "Extermination" effect, allowing her to finish off enemies with even more power.
A new 4★ Knight of Veda, Elias, has been released.
"Rules are Rules!"
He is renowned for being an unwavering believer in his principles, refusing to make any compromises. His steadfast dedication to his principles has earned him the nickname, "That's what Elias would do," a phrase often used to describe someone inflexible. However, his unwavering principles have made him stronger, and his selfless devotion to the House of Segric compels him to embark on a new adventure.
“Elias” is a Electric-type Melee DPS wielding a Large Axe, electrocuting enemies and dealing CRIT for an explosive match. Normal Skill “Lesson of Principles” wields an axe to electrocute targets and their nearby enemies. Signature Skill “Lightning Leap” leaps up lightning-fast and lands an axe to deal wide-area electric DMG.
- New content, ‘Survival Arena,’ is being added. · Survival Arena is open 4 days a week, Thursday through till Sunday, where up to 10 Masters of the Book can engage in battles to be the last Master of the Book standing. · The longer the match, the smaller the arena shrinks, and the map is filled with various buffs and hiding spots to launch a surprise attack. · Crowns of Victory will be distributed according to placement, and progression rewards will also be obtained. · You can access ‘Survival Arena’ from the Arena menu.
A new ‘Survival Arena’ season begins. · During the new ‘Survival Arena’ season, you can participate in events, complete missions, and earn great rewards. · The ‘Survival Arena’ will conclude after the 5/30 maintenance.
A new Tower of Trials season begins · Floors 9 to 12 of the Tower of Trials have been reset, and new blessings, and the Goddess’ Arrangement will be applied. · The new Tower of Trials season will conclude during the 5/30 maintenance.
The ‘Weekly Journey’ attendance event begins. · Log into the game for 7 days and receive various rewards. · The ‘Weekly Journey’ event ends during the 5/16 maintenance.
Added new Birthday Features for Masters of the Book, Belle, and the Knights of Veda · On each birthday, you’ll receive a special letter and rewards.
■ Improvements
Xanthia
Xanthia’s teleport (evasion), will have the cooldown reduced by 30%, from 2 seconds to 1.4 seconds.
The damage from the normal skill "Law of Gravity" and Signature Skill "Event Horizon," was previously distributed evenly, will now be segmented into early, mid, and late stages.
‘Roar of the Golden Lion’ (Before) Statue Fall DMG = DEF-Based 43.67%, 'Leap of the Golden Lion' DMG = DEF-based 14.7% (After) Statue Fall DMG = DEF-Based 57.11%, 'Leap of the Golden Lion' DMG = DEF-based 19.22%
‘Roar of the Golden Lion’ (Fate 2 or higher) (Before) Statue Fall DMG = DEF-Based 53.94%, 'Leap of the Golden Lion' DMG = DEF-based 17.65% (After) Statue Fall DMG = DEF-Based 70.52%, 'Leap of the Golden Lion' DMG = DEF-based 23.08%
The third strike of “Power of Earth” (normal attack) will be changed to defense-based damage. Damage will change from ATK 72% to DEF-based 55.38%
Albert’s ‘Leap of the Golden Lion’ (Signature Extend) will have its Veda Energy requirement reduced from 180 to 120, a 33% reduction.
Atterisee
Atterisee’s teleport (evasion), will have the cooldown reduced by 30%, from 2 seconds to 1.4 seconds.
The hit rate of the bear summoned by Atterisee’s “Roll, Roll, Roll!” skill will be reduced by 33%, allowing for more hits to connect.
Atterisee’s ‘Venomous Explosion’ (Strong Attack) charging time for each stage will be reduced by 30%.
Targets hit by ‘Venomous Explosion’ (Strong Attack) will now receive a 10% movement speed reduction effect.
Research Pays Off (Signature Skill) will have the “Reduce Incoming Heal” replaced with “Decreased Defense”. Additionally, all debuff effect times will be increased from 2 seconds to 3 seconds.
(Before) Reduces ATK 20%,Reduced Incoming Heal 50%, Reduce All RES 30% (one effect applied randomly) (After) Reduces ATK 20%, Reduces DEF 30%, Reduce All RES 30% (one effect applied randomly) With Fate 6, the defense reduction effect will increase to 50%
Lucian
Lucian’s ‘Holy Sword Blessing’ cooldown will be reduced from 40 seconds, to 30 seconds (25% decrease).
The duration of ‘Holy Sword Blessing’ will increase to 23 seconds, regardless of Fate Level.
Andrei
The range of ‘Red Meteorite’ (Normal Skill) will increase by 33%, and with Fate 6, it will increase an additional 25% of the original.
The hit range of ‘Narcissistic Flame’ (Strong Attack) will increase by 33% for the first 3 stages, and for the 4th stage, it will increase an additional 25% compared to the original.
Yanko
The damage for ‘Mechanic Arrow’ (Basic Attack) will increase by approximately 20%.
The damage for ‘Weakness Calculation’ (Strong Attack) will be increased by approximately 20%.
Orlik
Orlik’s base damage threshold will be increased by 30% (applies to all Knights of Veda with Defense-based damage).
The third strike of ‘Justice’ (Basic Attack) will be changed to DEF-based damage 55.2% of ATK power -> DEF-based 42.46%
Veleno
The casting time of ‘Venomous Arrow’ will be reduced, resulting in an approximately 20% decrease in casting time.
Miscellaneous Improvements
Fixed an issue where the stat increase rate of ‘Elemental ATK power’ option stat was the same as ‘ATK power’.
The stat increase rate of ‘Elemental ATK power’ will be adjusted to be higher than the stat increase rate of ‘ATK power’
Fixed an issue where ‘Movement Speed’ and ‘Attack Speed’ options for items would not add together.
The ‘Guard Rate’ stat from items is to be capped, and no longer increase more than 80%.
The optional stat, ‘Reduce Veda Energy Consumption’ from items is to be capped at 35%.
Each ‘Event Call of the Stars (Knight of Veda)’ will now share their 50/50 status. · 50/50 means that if the most recently obtained 5★ is not the target Knight, the next time a 5★ is pulled, it is guaranteed to be the target Knight. · If both currently on-going ‘Event Call of the Stars’ are guaranteed to pull the highlighted 5★, the target will be obtained until all 50/50’s have been resolved.
2 Outstanding Guaranteed Target 5★Knights of Veda For example, if the ‘Black Sun Event Call of the Stars’ (Xanthia) is guaranteed to give you the target Knight (Xanthia), and the ‘Gifted Doctor Event Call of the Stars’ (Veleno) is also guaranteed to give you the target Knight (Veleno), after the 5/2 update, obtaining a 5★ Knight from either the ‘Gifted Doctor’ (Veleno) or ‘Lightning-fast arrow’ (Aurora) will guarantee the target character twice (once for each Event Call of the Stars banner).
1 Outstanding Guaranteed Target 5★Knights of Veda If only one of the current banners is guaranteed to give you the target 5★Knight of veda, then you will only have one guaranteed target 5★ Knight.
0 Outstanding Guaranteed Target 5★Knights of Veda If you have no outstanding 50/50’s from the ‘Event Call of the Stars’, then there will be no guaranteed target 5★Knight.
The “Exclusive Weapon Call of the Stars” will also be modified to carry the same 50/50 rules as the “Event Call of the Stars (Knight of Veda)”.
Reconnecting to the game will now restart you in the same area as when you disconnected, instead of from the Nightmare.
The ability to adjust your Adventure Level downward has been improved, and you can now drop down 2 Adventure Levels instead of 1.
You will now see up to 2 World Missions on the main screen, making tracking these missions easier.
The rewards for completing the ‘Journey in Memory’ for 4★ characters will be improved. · (Before) Gold x3,000, Wanderer’s Record x3, Insignia of Victory x1 · (After) Gold x4,000, Wanderer’s Record x5, Insignia of Victory x1
To easily identify parts of a Relic Set that you own, each part’s icon will be displayed on the relic icon. This will make it more convenient to equip and unequip relics.
The number of Relics sold in the Arena Shop will be increased from 4 to 10.
You will be able to see the tooltip for items when using them as materials, allowing you to carefully select which items you use to enhance with.
Within the Equipment Collection, the Accessory tab will be improved to resemble an ‘Artifact Collection’, displaying accessories that share the same name and main stats in convenient groups, making them easier to differentiate.
The Monster Collection will be improved to allow you to view various strategic tips on how to take down the monsters.
The Log Collection will be improved to allow easier viewing of your journey so far. A playback button will be added so that you can clearly see which video you are watching. Also images for each video will be added in the future to further improve the experience.
When stiffness stacks from hits/damage, the applied stiffness duration will gradually shorten. This affects both other players and monsters. (5/2 06:09 UTC)
■ Bug Fixes
The issue where the poison damage included in Knight of Veda 'Veleno's' skill did not increase with skill level will be fixed.
The issue where the burn damage included in Knight of Veda 'Edward's' skill did not increase with skill level will be fixed.
The issue where the burn damage included in Knight of Veda 'Andrei's' skill did not increase with skill level will be fixed.
The issue where the bleeding damage included in Knight of Veda 'Eliyar's' skill did not increase with skill level will be fixed.
The problem where the support character information was not reflected in the stage entry screen’s appropriate level color and recommended attribute activation feature will be corrected.
The issue where clicking near the close button on the Arena main screen displayed the Arena medal details will be fixed.
The issue where item icons overlapped in the item return guidance popup will be fixed.
The issue where the bottom area of the inventory appeared cut off will be fixed.
The text size of added options in the relic enhancement result screen will be enlarged.
An error popup will no longer appear when requesting support for a Knight of Veda that is already in the deck.
For Masters of the Book at the maximum level, the experience points displayed in the dungeon guide window will be correctly converted to gold.
Abnormal movements of party members in auto-battle mode after clearing a dungeon together will be fixed.
The issue of the Black Prince not moving intermittently during party play in Chapter 7 Stage 12 of the adventure dungeon will be corrected.
The game freezing at certain steps in the Tower of Trials will be resolved.
Equipment icons appearing abnormally in the equipment enhancement result window will be corrected.
Blacklisted users will no longer appear in the recent list of friends.
The intermittent flashing of the shoe recharge popup will be fixed.
An issue where the deck appears empty at specific steps during Hero's missions for the Knight of Veda ‘Veleno’ will be corrected.
Inaccurate display of MVP and damage information in the 2:2 and 3:3 arena results screen, or damage not being displayed at all, will be addressed.
The problem of relic locking not being shared depending on the displayed location will be fixed.
The skill description for the Knight of Veda ‘Elias’ will be corrected to match the actual effects applied.
The issue of the ore guide tip appearing every time an ore vein is targeted in auto-play dungeons will be fixed.
Resolution issues when pressing the back button on the Galaxy Fold5 cover display during gameplay will be resolved.

Firstly, thanks to everyone who game my game a try and gave feedback, It has helped me with my future games intensely.
Closing shift is shutting down due to it being one of my oldest games and is not very good. Not only was it poorly scripted, but it was mainly a project of mine just to test what Unreal Engine can do and I thought of uploading it to steam. As this was my 2nd ever game being made, of course it is not going to be great and I thank everyone for playing it. I want to shut this game down as I don't want any more people to go through this poor experience haha.

Looking back, it was a year of first-time challenges. There were many difficult moments, but I am honored to have been a bridge for you to meet our characters.
What will happen in 2024? We don't know yet. Maybe I'll be creating my own new work, or supporting someone else's. Maybe I'll be taking on EXECUTEDADDY 2. However, the main updates for now have been perfected in 2023. Two more 'Stealthy Steps' added! Have you seen them yet?
Nothing makes me happier than knowing that something I created has reached someone's heart and become a part of their life story.

I added more to the Promotion window to help understand how happiness will change based on needs. I've also added a warning message in case the mage might want to quit after promotion.

The Jourmut continent was added as a safe zone with very low experience and gold so that new users can learn to play.
At level 1 the characters start in Forgat, having access to the classic newbie dungeon or training on the outskirts of this new city.
To travel between the old and new continents, you can board the ship at the port of Nix or the port of Arghal. The ticket has a low and affordable price of gold.
Moved the four maps of New Hope to the old Nix Archipelago area, and removed the Priest and Banker from that unsafe city.
The game's cities were graphically updated.
The Magma Dungeon and Nagas Dungeon maps have been removed.
Access from Pirate Island to the Giant Kraken remained with two NON-MAGIC maps.
Boss maps are only accessible for levels +40.
The island of Eleuria (snow map where hiding or the invisibility spell does not work) was added to the old New Hope area. The Glacier Cave was incorporated, accessible from Eleuria, aimed at training from level 33.
The Cave of Desolation was added between the cities of Banderbill and Arghal, a training-oriented dungeon between levels 15 and 25.
Moved access to the silver mines to the “Otto Island” map, northwest of Nix, accessible by navigation.
Added the city of Eldoria as a navigable city (+25) south of Pitonisa, and updated the city of Lindos as a navigable city (+25).
A new dungeon called Abandoned Lair has been added at level +40, accessible from the Lost Island, north of the desert.
The Penthar Farm Map is now unsafe.
The NPC April <Quest> will allow you to change the drops of the new NPCs in the Basements of the Patreon Houses.

3 - Skills assignable by level
The wizard will continue to earn 5 points per level
The worker will continue to earn 6 points per level
All other classes will earn 6 points per level instead of 5
4 - Items and spells
The resurrect spell now requires 87 magic skills and 400 mana
The boat now asks for 15,000 common firewood
The initial Magic Wave spell is replaced by the Magic Dart
The silver sword goes from having a maximum hit of 19 to 20
The sword of the heroes of the game is removed
The Viking helmet is removed from the game
The only item that will require gold bars will be the Dragon Slayer sword
Crafting items with common firewood will be equal to crafting items with iron ores, and crafting items with elven firewood will be equal to crafting items with silver ores (next patch).
5 - Class balance
The Pirate and Thief classes will be unsupported in-game. Although they are not disabled, they will not be able to equip any object, leaving the class aside for this version (it will be updated by date)
