Due to a request, we just added a new setting to alter the render style. We know that some players dislike the cross hatching style and how it applies to the game. As it is a pretty strong effect and applies to large portions of the game, we can understand where they come from. In fact, this is part of why we added a bunch of rendering settings for Super Cloudbuilt. We just never patched in any such feature to the original game before now, which is something we really should have done earlier.
This is nothing as fancy as the Super Cloudbuilt modes, but there are now 3 presets available.
Default, which is like it has always been.
Reduced Hatching, which removes most hatching, but keeps some of it on darker surfaces or shadows only.
No hatching, which removes all of the cross hatching from the rendering.

Fixed a problem that houses cannot be built in Second Homeland even meet the requirements. Fixed a problem that save & reload the game when entering Underground World for the first time will be transported on start island. Fixed a visual error that mushroom on sunny crab will not disappear after being picked. Fixed visual errors of icons in store. Fixed a problem that time will pass for three days when Fishing Fest is over. Fixed a problem that blender remains locked after unlocking and purchasing. Fixed a model resource loss of Eastern Bamboo Fence. Fixed the model overlaying of blacksmith workshop. Fixed the texture loss of lantern in front of the hot spring in Underground World. Fixed the a problem that Tegx will send letters repeatedly(Once more after updating) Fixed a problem that affection levels with some characters will not be changed and their reaction will be erased when giving them tokens. Fixed a problem that some characters will be stuck in scenes and cannot be interacted. Fixed a problem that Poline can accept proposal and marriage as a character without those functions. Fixed a problem that stalls and helpers will not refresh in Market Street. Fixed a problem that Laila will not be in Guild in mission “Talent Recruitment · One”. Fixed a problem that bee hive can be destroyed by throwing stones. Fixed the floating error of upgraded buildings. Fixed a problem that date cannot be ended after interacting with characters for 5 times.

Hi Folks, Daron here from Bad Ridge Games. Today, we want to talk a bit about what to expect from the farming side of Mirthwood.
Your homestead is your haven; a place of respite after your sojourns in the wider world. While there will be other, scattered locations for rest and (minor) customization, your home can serve as a portrait of your progress and productivity.
Crops
We’ll start with the cornerstone of sustainable farming. You can grow more than 15 different crops, including wheat, barley, flax, and other medieval staples. Changing seasons will dictate the types of crops that will grow, keeping things fresh as the calendar turns. Your harvested crops can be used in cooking or placed in refiners to create more exciting goods. Be wary, you might encounter droughts, dust storms, and other hardships you’ll need to contend with.
Refiners
Refiners are the lifeblood of a productive farm. Here, you can take your raw resources and turn them into a variety of artisan goods. These goods can be given as gifts or used in other crafting recipes. You might take your harvested grapes and ferment them. Make some wine with those fermented grapes, or take things a step further and place that wine in a cask, creating a richly aged wine or brandy. With more than 10 different refiners to use, you’ll be able to craft a wide variety of items.
Animals
Farm animals in Mirthwood come in a variety of breeds and coats. Purchase and raise cows, bulls, goats, pigs, chickens, horses, and birds. In order to produce, your animals will need to be taken care of. There are multiple options for shelter and feed, giving you some flexibility in the housing of your animals and the layout of your farm. Goods from your animals can also be used in refiners. You can butcher your animals if you're in a pinch - or after some rarer meats.
Structures
You can build several types of structures on your farm. Many of these will house your animals, while others will supplement your productivity; helping you mill grains or draw water.
Customization
One of our favorite features in Mirthwood is the grid-less placement and pathing system. This will allow you to build up and layout your farm organically; creating curved paths and fence lines with ease. Inside your home, you can place items freely on walls and floors. There are a variety of themed decor goods for you to purchase in town. You’ll also be able to change the materials used inside or outside of your home.
Mirthwood aims to give you a blank canvas, along with the tools and assets to build an aesthetically pleasing and productive farm. We’re excited to see your designs come to life!

Hiring mercenaries are the main way to increase the player's party size.
Mercenaries will level up alongside the player.
Sellsword: This class focuses on a balance between offense and defense; uses sword & board.
Bowman: Finess-based class focusing on Critical Damage; uses bows & crossbows.
Hedge Knight: A tanky class with high amounts of Damage Reduction; uses crushing weapons, plate armor, and shields.
Stalker: Dual-Wielding Finess class specializing in knife-style weapons; lower target rate.
Barbarian: A tanky class with high Life Points and Destruction; uses axe & spear style weapons.
Brawler: A durable Finess-based class with high durability; uses fist style weapons.
