  • All UI menu selections have been updated to be more in line with what I plan to deliver for the first alpha test.
    1. This includes a reduction of boats to 6 body styles for each class. Locked boat materials are now hidden.
    2. All cups but Cup A have been locked down.
    3. Special boats have also been removed.
  • Ocean Park now has more toys to play with.
    1. More cannons with their ramps.
    2. Added a testing area for the Minefield (you can't miss it)
    3. Hundreds of Spikes and bombs so far have been performing well.
    4. This is also in preparation for one of the modes I am planning to release called Hazzard Challenge.
  • Ambient sounds have been updated to better reflect the water conditions.
  • Updated all maps in Cup A. This includes everything from buoys, ramps and track shape.
    1. Boat controls have been change. Dive and Rise have been moved to Y and B on the gamepad.
    2. Boat performance has been updated.
    3. Rise has been nerfed.
    4. Specialized collision shapes for each boat has been reverted back to a singular collision shape. Basically, collision for each boat is the same for all boats. This is to prevent players from using slimmer boats just to squeak through places easier. The body styles are meant to be more cosmetic than anything.
    5. With that said, I am still planning to make each boats performance unique. Like acceleration, top speed and handling.

  • Foliage performance is improved.
  • Reflection performance has been improved.
  • At this point FPS has been locked between 40-144fps. This is introducing some issues that I'm currently working on.
  • Language settings update.
  • The game will now change the region settings based on your... region!
  • At this point Chinese and Japanese have been removed because of a very annoying font bug.
  • Supported languages are: English, Spanish, German, Italian, Portuguese, French and Russian.

Evening! We've got an important update for Mac OS players going out tonight.

For part of our Mac OS player base with specific hardware and OS combination, there has been a nagging bug with some of the images in the game not always showing up. A very annoying set of images -- the Talent bar!

We're excited to say we've fixed the Mac OS specific issue in the shaders to ensure these images appear in all versions of Metal and Mac OS.

So, if you were seeing missing images at different points in the game, thank you for your patience, thank you for your F10s! There is a 50 MB hotfix patch waiting for you in the Steam client.

From a rare set of F10s, this may also have affected a very slim percentage of Linux players, but if you had a no-icon Talent bar during missions, that might be you!

Thanks again for your patience and glad we could fix this one at last.

Tempest creates nano-particle 'clouds' that obscure vision and targeting systems (T-lock, turrets). The clouds snare enemies and Overcharges allies.
- Piercing ammo gains increased velocity.
- CB ammo velocity reduction reduced.
- Heavy ammo snare max duration increased (snare will last longer on high damage weapons).
- Shroud, cloaked now correctly remove T-Lock tracking.
- Overcharge disable AOE increased.

Super Chesslike Adventure - mooreinteractive
While we are working toward the next major milestone: Early Access, we are also making improvements to the core game mechanics which will get updated in the Demo already available. Today is one of those updates!

Direct Control in Overworld Movement

We've updated the way controllers work in the overworld. You can see it featured in the latest trailer on the store page!

Previously when you would press the analog stick, it would move a cursor that could select a destination for the party leader. Now when you press a direction with the analog stick, your piece will move instantly in that direction until you let go. It currently works for both the d-pad and analog stick.

There were some similar controls previously for Fayette only, and only with the d-pad, but now it is extended to other party members, and controllable with the analog sticks in addition as well as the d-pad.
