“The DCS: Kola map by Orbx will be released into early access on the 3rd of May 2024 bringing a new and engaging region to DCS. Based on the current day, with allowances for Cold War scenarios, the map covers more than 575,000 sq km of land and large areas of the Barents Sea and Norwegian Sea. The early access release will feature summer textures with the highest detail area stretching along the Russian/Finnish border from the Murmansk region of the Kola peninsula in the north to the shores of the Baltic Sea in the south. This area is home to the Russian Northern Fleet, the submarine pens of Polyarny, strategic air bases such as Severomorsk and Olegnegorsk, and several Finnish, Swedish, and Norwegian air bases, and road runways!
We at Orbx are delighted to collaborate with experienced campaign creators including Baltic Dragon and Reflected Simulations to bring exciting campaigns to this map.
Following the early access release, we will deliver major updates starting in June 2024. This includes winter textures and additional airbases such as Andoya, Bardufoss, Evenes, Vidsel, Kilpyavr, Alakkurti, and others. Many military installations and training areas across the Kola map will be further developed with improvements added to terrain detail based on high-resolution aerial orthoimagery. New cities and towns, more custom POIs and vertical obstructions, and complex industrial sites will also be added.
We have recruited a large team of active DCS players to help with all aspects of testing, optimization, and prioritisation to help tune and improve the map.”

The Virtual Carrier Wing 17 operates in the Central EU time zone. Throughout the year, vCVW-17 alternates between training and deployment periods. New student pilots and RIOs are trained by experienced air wing members and human LSOs / AICs are available during missions to add extra realism.
The vCVW-17 strives to mimic real CVW operations in the early 2000s, with every bit of the naval aviation experience imaginable. They take a realistic approach to their operations that covers Cyclic Ops, Close Air Support, Strike Packages, and more. Briefings and kneeboard pages are provided before each mission or training sortie and debriefings are used to provide post-mission evaluation that results in better virtual naval aviators. Since the launch of "Lotus Lantern: Rescue Mother," we have received numerous opinions and feedback from players.
To thank our enthusiastic players, "LLotus Lantern: Rescue Mother" has now introduced the Endless Mode. This mode is specially designed for players who love combat. After rescuing the mother in the third playthrough, players can unlock the Endless Mode in the lobby. Upon entering, players will find themselves in a brand new Chinese-style scroll painting scene. Choose your preferred style, then, within a limited time, slay various monsters. The more you kill, the more additional reward points you'll earn. These points can be used to purchase three rewards at the end of each round. Once the experience bar is full, players can also upgrade their martial arts techniques and strive to survive as long as possible.
Also here are some fixes for the known issues:
- Added windowed mode: Mouse movement is now restricted within the game window and will no longer freely move to other screens. - Fixed an issue where dismantling and acquiring artifacts could cause keyboard input failure. - Balance adjustments: Reduced the energy consumption of some core artifacts and increased their potency. - Balance adjustments: Tweaked the stats of some bosses to ensure game balance. - Fixed issues with some artifacts loading external resources abnormally, particularly the Lotus Lamp.

Happy Alien Day, Colonial Marines. The original Alien film takes place on the moon Acheron, or LV-426. So every 4/26 we get to celebrate the movie that started it all, and the incredible Alien fans.
In celebration of Alien Day, we’re dropping a new quality-of-life update for Aliens: Fireteam Elite that makes two really exciting changes to the game.
Firstly, we know that a lot of our players have been frustrated with the in-game currency cap of 50,000 credits. With this patch, we’re doubling the cap to 100K so you can safely hoard and collect even more credits than before!
Secondly, we know how much you love using challenge cards - and how much fun and replayability they add to each mission. We also know, though, that losing challenge cards when a mission is failed or a host drops out is frustrating. Plus, the grind to get enough currency to unlock more can be a hassle. That’s why, with this update, challenge card packs in SSGT Park’s shop are now FREE!
Today I finally want to take the step and go from Early Access to the final release. The reason for this decision is that I want to look ahead and have started new projects. Through Paranormal Observation I have learned a lot and gained experience for the future. The success of the game has been far greater than I could have dreamed and the feedback has been extremely helpful. I thank each and every one of you for your help and support.

LOCALIZATION - More languages are available! English, Spanish, Chinese (simplified and traditional), and Japanese.
WEAPON SPECIAL ATTACKS - ALL primary weapons received were updated! Hold the attack button to execute each weapon Special Attack.
EQUIPMENT RARITY SYSTEM - Now you can find different versions of each Weapon and Skill! Common, Rare, Epic, and Legendary. Increasing the quality and adding stat bonuses.
PERMANENT PROGRESSION - Putting the 'T' in 'RogueliTe', Dunjungle now offers permanent upgrades that you can progressively unlock to increase your power for your following incursions.
FAMILIARS - You can now find and rescue BABY MONKEYS that will follow you around and help you for the rest of the run.
NEW EQUIPMENT - Loads of new Relics with cool effects to enhance your strategies, and new weapons to use.
ENEMIES - New Rooms and new enemies to fight.
INPUT SYSTEM - You can now customize your inputs. Keyboard and Gamepad.
