Doll Impostor - DaViCyYo
I'm pleased to announce that Update 3 is finally ready. This is a major update due to the large number of modifications and fixes. It's also special due to the integration of two new members into the household, they are Mom and Billy (her son), the house's dolls are owned by Mom.

In this house, a family of three lived happily: Dad, Mom, and Billy. Mom was an excellent woman, very religious and she loved collecting porcelain and wooden dolls. Her great collection ended up in the living room.

Unfortunately, this is not a pretty story. Something terrible happened to the family; Mom ended Dad's life and poor Billy, scared, was fleeing from Mom for hours until she finally caught him. Mom also ended his life. Close sources claim, "Mom would have never done such a thing, something terrible must have happened to her, probably related to demons and evil spirits."

  • The Impostor will break display cases of dolls that are its enemies

  • Added blood on walls and messages when the impostor likes blood
  • New sounds added when (Having tea, moving, killing others, and disorganizing)
  • Main menu (From here you can access new difficulties and game settings)
  • Optimization improvement and auto-detection of graphics
  • Added new scares (Mom and Billy)
  • Updated tutorial with new information
  • New difficulty Hard (Game starts from 06:00)
  • New difficulty Nightmare (Starts from 08:00)
  • New difficulty Professional (Starts from 08:00 and only 3 clues appear, can be repeated)

  • Ez mode (Now is called Show List)
  • Jumpscare Doll (Now is Billy and Mommy)

Fixes
  • Raised the board a bit to avoid looking down (boxes placed as a temporary solution)
  • The text in the list of clues was cut off in some languages
  • Blood from the boxes extended to other dolls
  • When an Impostor moved, it sometimes disappeared
  • Duplications of dolls
  • The impostor always appeared in the same chair when meeting
  • Some enemy dolls were removed to prevent them from being enemies and hating at the same time
  • Doll sizes have been trimmed and improved so they don't protrude from the sides and under objects

We’re delighted to present Nordic Ashes 1.0!!
First of all, thanks so much for supporting us week after week since 2022!

Let's dive into the new features:

New Features
Character Masteries
As if Yggdrasil upgrades weren’t enough, let’s welcome Character Masteries!
You will earn xp each time you play with a character. This xp will be then exchanged for level points to upgrade that character. There will be 10 levels available to complete with each survivor.

If you’ve already played some runs with a character, you will be granted with xp points once you launch the game.



Ragnarok X and extended Nightmare Mode
Ragnarok X will be the hardest and craziest challenge you will face on this 1.0 version! Let the madness begin!
In addition, you'll now be able to play Nightmare mode extended to 12 waves!



Secret character: KAOS
And because it’s a secret, we won’t reveal anything. Will you be able to unlock it?


Character Dash
This has been highly requested and we also felt it would suit characters very well and not just Hansi (his dash will still be more powerful than the regular ones).
Every character will have 1 dash charge available from the start. A second one can be unlocked in Yggdrasil.



2 new character skins
Because we realized that after the addition of golden skins, Alruna and M.I.S.S.I.N.G. were lacking 1 skin, as all the other characters already had 4!
So here they are, an all white one and an all black one. We believe they suit them really well and hope you enjoy them too!



Golden Attire
Those golden badges from Daily Challenges finally have a purpose! You will be able to exchange them for Golden Skins. Every character will have their own. They will be available on the Daily Challenge panel.



Keybinding
You will be able to reassign keys on PC, Xbox controller and PlayStation controller.

Save slots
We’ve implemented a system where you can save, load or delete your game progress. This doesn’t mean you will be able to save in the middle of a run. This system is created in order to handle game data and backups.

We wanted you to have high resolution wallpapers of every character! You may download them from this drive link so you can keep them :D

New DLC releases
Digital Artbook DLC - Now available
At the beginning of the development this was a vague idea, but it kept turning more and more plausible each month. We thought maybe a 20-30 page artbook would be a nice thing to work on, but wow, it finally became a beautiful 100+ page artbook!
For now, you will be able to purchase it as a digital DLC, but if enough of us are willing to upgrade that version, we should create a hardcover version, right? Let us know what you think about it!



Soundtrack DLC - Coming soon
Rubén Melià created this absolute masterpiece of original soundtrack for Nordic Ashes.
He worked really hard for a whole year, so you can experience 21 amazing tracks whenever you wish!
The soundtrack will be available as a Nordic Ashes DLC in a few days, so stay tuned!



Gnöki plush
We got some news from Makeship! Gnöki campaign will be ready in a few weeks!!

Fixes
  • Talkôr’s bug that made him die even with gold is now fixed.
  • In Asgard realm, if you didn’t defeat a raid shrine boss before before entering wave 5, it would follow you to the next wave instead of vanishing. This is now fixed.
  • If you attracted potions but some of them weren’t used because you already had full health, they would deactivate and stayed useless even if you lost health and tried to get them.
  • Lights Curse bug. If you died and revived just before entering Gnöki’s realm while having the Lights Curse activated on that run, light beams were still on in the shop.
  • Some relics were hitting enemies twice in some cases, like Amaranth’s Chilli.
Future steps
Nordic Ashes journey will not end today. We already have new content planned for the future, so don't worry, we're not going anywhere. Let's keep in touch! For now, let's enjoy 1.0 release! ːNA_Crystalː

Hello everyone!

We've just released a hotfix to address a few commonly occurring issues in this week's update.


v1.4.5.0

- Fixed crew remaining dead, mission remaining completed/failed, etc when you return to the lobby an restart the round. The issue was that the server did not properly load the previous save when opting to continue the ongoing campaign.
- Added a button to the server lobby which opens the server description in a popup to make it easier for players to find. We are still thinking of the best way to handle the description/MOTD, this is more of a quick band-aid solution for the description being too easy to miss / difficult to find at the moment.
- Fixed descriptions being outdated on some of the modified XP talents. Currently only fixed in English, the descriptions in other languages are still outdated.
- Fixed "command not found" error when trying to use the new "converttowreck" console command.
- Fixed items in a container in the submarine not being counted in the "owned items" count in the store interface.
- Fixed bots being unable to properly clean up some items, just taking them into their inventory and leaving them there.
- Fixed drinkable items (such as ethanol) giving the full effect with just a tiny sip.
- Fixed effect from the "revenge squad" talent only lasting 60 seconds.
- Fixed combat diving suit being slower than intended when using an underwater scooter.
Little Goody Two Shoes - AstralShiftPro
Hi, everyone!

Wondering what makes Little Goody Two Shoes such a singular experience?

Because it's such a narrative-driven game, many of our decisions when it comes to game design were made based on its story beats and overall progression.

Little Goody Two Shoes’ main goal is simple – work during the day and assure your survival through the night in order to progress through the story. Thus, all of its gameplay elements end up relying on this simple night-and-day cycle to give the game its pacing and sense of progression.

It’s during the day that Elise visits Kieferberg and completes her Chores to make a living. Because so much of your time is spent working, we took this concept of chores (chopping wood, gathering eggs, etc.) and embodied them in the form of quick mini-games which make Elise’s tasks fun to play and engaging.

This conclusion wasn’t reached right away and took a lot of back and forth!

One of the things we thought of incorporating as a gamification of Elise's daily chores were riddles – think Professor Layton's math based puzzles, for example!

Below is an illustration meant for one of said riddles in which Elise would have to figure out which buckets (from a selection of four and each with distinctive characteristics) she would have to use in order to make it to the well and back in only one trip.



Ultimately, we found that having to solve riddles every day wasn’t as engaging as the mini-games, so we decided to focus on making more of them to fill out Elise’s daily schedule.

The Romantic Dates you go on with your chosen love interest – Rozenmarine, Freya or Lebkuchen – are also only available during the day and were designed to make you, the player, as attached to them as possible!

It’s during the night that the other gameplay elements of Little Goody Two Shoes get to shine, those being the survival exploration of the Woodlands and the puzzle solving mechanics.

Because it’s a horror game, we felt it would be interesting to forgo the inclusion of a combat system and strip the player of any mechanisms of defense usually found in other titles in the genre.

While the main reason for this decision was to make the player feel vulnerable in the face of danger, we also meant it as a nod to our previous title, Pocket Mirror, and all the RPG Maker Horror games which came before it and inspired us to become game developers in the first place.

Many of such titles rely on puzzle solving and environment exploration to immerse the player in their unique worlds, which is what we aimed to achieve with Little Goody Two Shoes!
