for some undiscoverable reason, "first selected" is not working on main menu, meaning gamepad and keyboard are not able to select buttons. ,,, this fix enables it to work , but is not an appropriate programming design, as it is wonky to work, and counts as a "bug workaround". There is no issue in the editor, but in the build it wasn't working correctly.
If you are unable to arrow out of the text-field for playername,, press escape to reset the button selected.
