  • Fixed the glitch where the 22nd to 30th Regions would not load or save.
  • Fixed other long-standing save glitches for Regions 22-30.

- While using Auto-Aim or Gamepad control scheme, if you aim down sight and locks onto an enemy, you can adjust how high you are aiming using mouse wheel or Right Stick up/down

- Improved the error message for when you try to save while near enemies.

- Armor insertions will now have a durability of 20 instead of 10

- When shooting at mutants with silenced weapon/melee while undetected, different mutants will behave differently. Bigger mutants or NG+ elite mutants will alert team mates, and smaller ones will not.

Taken Soul a survival horror game developed by Vietnamese studio SOGA Studio, has been scheduled for release on Steam this March.

Set in the city of Da Lat during the 2000s, renowned for its foggy landscapes and distinctive architecture, the game draws inspiration from local mythology.


Players assume the role of Trung, who embarks on a journey to find his mysteriously vanished mother and younger sister while encountering the dark forces lurking within Da Lat. The game promises exploration of various locales, each presenting its mysteries and puzzles for players to solve.


Trung must confront his enemies using weapons and magic, navigating through haunted houses, old train stations, and other eerie locations throughout Da Lat. The game aims to faithfully recreate the city’s iconic landmarks, such as Pine Hills, Xuan Huong Lake, Da Lat Station, and Da Lat Pedagogical College, transforming them into chilling backdrops for the horror narrative.


In addition to its visual elements, Taken Soul features Vietnamese voiceovers for character dialogue scenes, enhancing the atmosphere of fear and tension.

One of its standout features is the freedom for players to shape the story and determine their ending through various decisions and interactions. Depending on player choices, the narrative unfolds in different directions, adding to the game’s replay value.

Taken Soul presents an intriguing blend of survival horror set against Da Lat’s unfamiliar landscape. As the release date approaches, we anticipate whether the promised atmospheric horror and solid combat mechanics will deliver an engaging experience.

Rune System

We introduce equippable runes that offer passive features and add strategic depth, customization, and further progression to the game.



We have added 42 distinct runes available to enhance the heroes.



Improved Crafting System

Following your recommendations, we have revamped the crafting system to be more strategic. Items are now permanent, and we have balanced all objects to ensure fair competitiveness in the game.



Bestiary

A compendium of enemies with information about their strengths, weaknesses, abilities, and the resources they offer.



New Skills

11 new skills and 11 new upgrades available in the runes and for the heroes Alberic and Lionir.





Improvements and New Features

- It is now possible to keep all resources upon completing an expedition.
- Display of progress towards the next skill reward.
- Detail of the characteristics of each summon.
- Option to reshuffle skill rewards for mana.



- Separation of defense types in the interface.



- Aggregation of consumables in a single space.



- Improved hero selection with new navigation arrows.
- Enabled zoom for a better view of the citadel improvements.
- Incorporation of avatars for enemies.

Adjustments and Balancing:

- Adjustments to hero abilities and items to fit the new rune system.
- Changes in specific abilities for heroes and certain constructions.
- Changes in the stats of enemies and bosses.

Bug Fixes:

- Fixing issues in certain upgrades that caused unwanted effects.
- Adjustments in descriptions and incorrectly reported damages in some forges.
- Corrections of text errors and sporadic technical issues.
- Removal of obsolete items from the crafting system.
