General Updates and Improvements:

STEERING WHEEL SUPPORT- Enable Steering Wheel using Direct Input option, else the inputs will be eased as a gamepad! Or via dev menu. - Tested with G25. If your steering wheel supports Direct Input should also work. You can remap it in the options. CHANGES WON`T YET BE SAVED. -Let me know if your steering wheel works or not! I can create custom mappings for your steerings if you provide me with the Direct Input readings that show up in the menu. Notice that G25 clutch pedal constantly inputs a value, hence to avoid this there is an opion to mute that axis. Despit that Direct Input plugin may not display other axes unless that axis is in the 0 range.
FORCE FEEDBACK-Enable/dissable and set the force ammount in Options menu. Requires Direct Input enabled.
SHIFTER SUPPORT-Paddles, sequential and H-box support (H-requires clutch usage, let me know if clutchless would be a desired feature). -Tested with G25 shifter, Other shifters could be preset if you provide me with the input listener values in the menu. I'll add input mapping in the future.
TUNE MANAGER- Save/Load every parameter of the car setup. Wether it is from the Mod or Tune menu. You can save all the setup in one click into the currently loaded tune, save to a custom named tune or even save just a set of parameters to create a subset like different suspension setups within a tune.
MISC- Handbrake automatically handles clutch not to kill engine - Gamepad easing and assist reworked and tuned. -Added to the menu the missingn car setup parameters (engine torque curve & aerodynamics) - backgroudn previuew. The data IS NOT YET OPTIMIZED, hence I dissabled as default. But you can have a glimpse into how it will look.
FUTURE AND ONGOING WORK- Mesh and texture streaming for improved performanced, this would solve game no longer working on Steam Deck. - Mesh virtualization and point data rendering as streamed mesh vertex could lead into a continous road network. For now I'm working the sections separatelly. - Car creation tool. - AI - More touges - Discord soon.

It’s time for another patch! It’s the first week where Pyromancers were not on top of the charts, so rejoice, Pyromancer players, there won’t be major nerfs for you this time.
While this does not mean that class balance is perfect, we are getting closer. This patch will mostly focus on subclass balance now and start a journey to get them all viable!

We will update and maintain the server from 17:00 to 18:00 on April 19, 2024, which will last about one hour. It is not possible to log in to the app during the update, and players can log in normally after the update is completed. The main updates are as follows:

Since the launch of Early Access a little over a week ago, the game has improved drastically because of the feedback of the community over the past week. Today, a few more important changes based on community feedback regarding combat will be implemented! Please take a look at the changes below.
The following has been updated in the latest version of the game on April 19th GMT+9.
1. Adjustment to the AP System (Stamina)
There have been a wide variety of opinions regarding the difficulty of maintaining a steady offense due to the AP system. Players feel frustrated because they are required to take short moments of reprieve in order to regain stamina, despite the game being an action-platformer. We strongly agree with the feedback that current AP management system can be stifling and disrupt the flow of combat.
Therefore, in today's patch, we are implementing a change where AP recovery is possible while using skills that do not consume AP. With this adjustment, players will be able to seamlessly continue their attacks by combining non-AP-consuming attacks (ie. light slash) after powerful AP-consuming attacks. We hope that players will feel more at ease in crafting long combos and strategies.
AP can now be recovered in the following situations:
Swordsmanship > Slash (Light Slash 1/2/3)
Swordsmanship > Jump + Light Slash
Swordsmanship > Aerial Slash (Lv. 1 and 2)
Agility > Penetration
Agility > Ambush
Special Skill > All levels of Concentrated Counterattacks
Soul Destruction
With these changes, we hope that players will have more freedom when it comes to stringing combos together. We will continue to monitor feedback regarding the AP system.
2. Skill Damage Balance
When it comes to the skills the Kim Rip is able to use, the ultimate goal was to balance the resources needed to use the skill with the output of the skill in question.
To make each skill more distinct and powerful, the following changes will be applied:
Toughness > Moonslash (Refined and Savage): Consumes AP 2 → Consumes AP 1
Agility > Penetration: Consumes AP 1 → Consumes AP 0 (Change from mid-level attack to light attack)
3. Added a Skip Tutorial Function
The game's tutorial was intended to get the player accustomed to not only the story, but also the basic game mechanics. However, we recognize that there are players who want to get on with the main gameplay. Therefore, we added a feature that will allow players to skip the tutorial and start the main game.
During the tutorial, players can open the menu to skip the tutorial. Any information gained through the tutorial can be found in the System > Tips menu.
[Other Changes and Fixes]
Added a feature that indicates the direction of objectives on the map when the objective is not currently able to be seen.
Fixed an issue where pressing "Continue" on the main menu would load the 1st save file only.
Improved tooltip visibility of locked/unattainable skills.
Increased the duration of Overflowing Golden Elixirs from 15 seconds to 30 seconds.
Fixed other minor issues.
