We would like to invite you to check out our new demo for our upcoming game.
The demo is now available on Steam and features a small glimpse into what Plague: London 1665 is about. We hope it transmits the vibes of the time and, more importantly, that people enjoy the short demo.

We've taken note of some minor issues that have been reported by fellow streamers playing the game on some YouTube and Twitch channels, and we've fixed them with this update.
Meanwhile, we have released the first stage of the new weapon/equipment/loot update we have been working on to Early Access.
At this stage, players will only be able to try out the 40 random weapons we loaded into the mothership's cargo at the start of the game, and change the weapons on the mothership. In the new updates to the game, players will be able to obtain these weapons, equipment, and other items either by looting them in combat, crafting them in the mothership's workshops, or finding them by trading with factions on planets.
*** Please note that: Now your weapons spend "bullets" and your ammunition is not infinite.
The logistic resources of the mother ship will decrease every time your guns fire. Also, every missile you fire will mean a reduction of your logistic skis.
When fighters return from combat and land on the mothership, their ammunition will be slowly replenished and the mothership's logistics resources will be used.
If you run out of ammo, your guns won't fire. You will need to visit planets to replenish your logistics depot.
In future updates, this will be done through transactions such as trading or looting, but for now, simply entering a planet's orbit is enough to repair your damage and replenish your supplies.
*** So the 40 weapons that we are currently giving players are actually a temporary solution that we have implemented to test the weapon exchange system and, of course, to provide a more enjoyable experience for Early Access players.
During this experience, we want to analyse the effects of the weapons and make adjustments. Some weapons may be very powerful, others may be pointlessly weak. With 40 new weapons appearing in each new game, we will have the opportunity to test this system and get feedback.
We also want to implement the loot system before the end of April. Thank you for your support.
*** In the meantime, we've prepared a small screenshot to help you understand the gameplay. For those who didn't read the last update, we've also included it here:
In this patch, we've improved the stability of the game and reworked Approval System to balance the experience in between Tutorial and Regular mode.
FPS Drop bug is fixed totally.
Approval System optimized.
Archive System implemented in the backend.
IL2CPP configuration removed for now.
Mono configuration set to default.
Riverfall starting map is designed but not yet implemented into the game yet.
There still further bugs we're aware of and working on them, such as Save File bug. We've inspected the issues behind it and trying to create a solution.
In addition to that, We've implemented more Requests and Requestlines.
Planetiles is featured on the great Eurogamer! It's huge news for us indies and if you're still before your morning coffee, we highly recommend you check out this great clipping by Chris Donlan of Eurogamer 👇
To give you a taste of Chris's impressions: "So Planetiles isn't just a lovely, quietly challenging puzzle game. It's a chance to slip into the galactic perspective before the day's first emails have been sent."

The power up rework unfortunately introduced an issue which caused the cameras in the world select scene and the Unsettling Forest to no longer follow the player. This issue has now been fixed. In addition to this we've also made several minor tweaks to the game. The tweaks are as follows:
Added new input options. You can now use the arrow keys and right stick to move
Added new death screens. We've added more death screens to show off what killed you
Increased the radius that a pirate ball can land around the player. Both the minimum and maximum distance have been increased
Implemented a cap on the amount of pirates that can spawn
Fixed the horse running backwards in level 5 of the Wild West
Made the cactus shake before expanding in Wild West
Fixed an issue that allowed the player to climb trees
Allowed projectile and cowboy attacks to collide with more obstacles
We'd love to know what you think about the better telegraphing of the cactus and the added cover that has been added. There aren't enough or substantial enough changes this time to warrant a new form, so please leave your thoughts in the comments of this post. While we're on the topic of forms, if you haven't filled out the initial feedback form or the power up rework form we'd appreciate it if you did.
Once again, thank you so much for the support and for taking your time to playtest our game!
