Adventure of Rikka - The Cursed Kingdom - PoorlyDrawnSquid
A lot of minor things has been fixed, mostly small visual bugs.
The game actually contained 52 coins and 92 shards even though the achievements for a 100% run would be 50 and 90 respectively. So those extra ones has been removed and replaced by purple (100 silver) coins.
A new part of the collections tab has been added to help the people who are trying to find everything in the game =) It now contains the number of coins, chickens, orbs and shards available in an area.
The Orb counter (a maximum of 19) is showing you the number of orbs you have picked up, NOT the number of orbs you have created by combining shards.
1. Added extreme level challenges in the target shooting laboratory 2. Optimize the animation of battle report details 3. Added 2x speed playback for battle report details 4. A more accurate description has been added to the battle report details.
Thanks for stopping by, I thought I'd introduce myself and the game.
I'm Dan, a game dev YouTuber, and Revolocity will be my first commercial game.
You can see where the idea for the game came from in the above video. It initially started as a challenge to make a game in one hour which forced me to keep the scope very very low, and as I was developing it I was really enjoying the process.
I ended up working on it for a week in the end and got it into quite a fun little project, before releasing it on Itch and calling it a day.
The project has been sat untouched for over a year but I always look to it as the most complete game I'd made, because the scope was so low, in that week I got quite a lot of stuff actually done for it.
Recently I've been wanting to actually RELEASE something finally, instead of lots of abandoned projects, so I figured I'd reopen this project and polish it up a bit more, and well here we are.
I've been really enjoying working on this project, and I've got some fun things planned for it to turn it into more of a "proper" game, instead of a one week game jam project.
You can follow along with the development as I go on YouTube, and if it looks like fun, then feel free to wishlist the game on Steam too :)

It’s been a few moons since the last update, and we are now back to share some more information about what we have been up to! Last year, we talked about a major project that we started working on with a new database rework that is going to help us with performance and much more. Work is moving forward and will soon be ready to be released with a major update, but let’s jump in and look at the progress and what you will get your hands on soon.
New biome, monsters, and dungeon!
Since last time, the team has been focused on the lava biome, adding several points of interest, new enemies, and finalizing a new dungeon for you to explore. The lava biome can get extremely hot, so make sure you're wearing the proper equipment before venturing inside.
Just like our other dungeons, you'll need to find the missing pieces to unlock the entrance to the boss. But be warned, the road is treacherous and filled with traps.
New things to catch and craft!
Some fishes have already adapted to the new biome. So, in the upcoming update, we will introduce several new species. With the right gear, bait and strategy, you might be able to catch what's swimming beneath the fiery lava rivers - just be careful!
But wait, that's not all! We are also adding a bunch of new furniture pieces, walls, and flooring to the game. NPCs will also be getting new and unique pieces of furniture to decorate their homes and additional rewards.
Database Rework
We have been working on reworking our database to improve its stability and performance. Currently, save files consist of more than 10,000 individual files, which can negatively affect performance, particularly on slow hard drives. As a result, the game will now run smoother overall. The new save game is an SQLite file, which will enable us to introduce more complex changes in the future without compromising existing player saves. Additionally, this will allow very invested players to modify save games to match their preferences. However, we want to make it clear that this is NOT mod support.
We do not want to give away too much, so there are plenty of surprises waiting for you in the upcoming update. We are currently putting the final touches on it, as well as preparing something exciting. Keep an eye on our social media or join our Discord community to stay updated!
Another hotfix coming to you. I'm thinking about regularly doing bugfix releases on the main branch of VEIN, but maybe delaying it to a weekly release so you don't have a new download once a day. What do you guys think?
