Beasts of Bermuda - Soals

Spring Event Skin
For a limited time, players will be able to unlock and earn the Archelon Skal Spring Event skin. The skin has two separate bioluminescent regions, one on the body and one on the shell.

This skin comes with two equippable cosmetic items that can be added on top of any Archelon skin:
1. A pink algae overlay with barnacles.
2. A coral growth mesh item for Archelon's shell.

Both cosmetics (plus the event skin) can be equipped at the same time.
The pink algae overlay cannot be used simultaneously with other texture overlays such as the Archelon Supporter Warpaint Overlay. The coral growth, however, can be used simultaneously with overlay-type cosmetics.

Changes to Event Rewards Unlocking
In order to unlock the Archelon skin and its associated equippables, players must grow to 2.0 on a Life Cycle server.
This skin will unlock on a per-server basis unless the skin is earned on an Official server. This means players have the option of earning the skin on a server of their choice, or earning the skin game-wide if unlocked on any Official Life Cycle server. This is to ensure game-wide unlocking is earned on a consistent difficulty and to improve the security of player rewards data.

You will also be able to earn last year’s Spring Event skin: Spring Guardian Apatosaurus!
This skin requires unlocking by growing an Apatosaurus to 2.0 Growth on Life Cycle

Halo Infinite - misplacedyank
So we heard mentions that you humans are big into fightin’ fires with your fancy metal shooter suits. Finally got tired of fightin’ each other and started pickin’ on the Banished instead.

Well lemme just tell ya—you picked the wrong methane pool to drink from this time, human!

All your bullyin’ hasn’t gone unnoticed, and so it’s time for a little plasma-powered payback—it's time for… GRUNTPOCALYPSE!

Yeah, you heard that right. For the next two weeks, it’s time to take on an all-conquering, undefeated, unbeatable Unggoy army in this new Infinite Firefight: King of the Halo game you like to play (I think that’s what it’s called?)!

This time, you’ll be facing off against the greatest contingent of Balaho Banished you’ve ever seens! It's all Grunts, all the time. A war chief’s dream, really. And when you realize the futility of your situations, you’ll have to hope your feet don’t fail you as you run cryin’ back to your disappointed parents!

Oh and did we mentions that there’s a twist? Yeah, we know you Spartans are always tryin’ to get ahead, so Skulls are guaranteed in every round—don't matter if you die, respawn, or get broughted back to life, the Skull magic is still on tap. Oh, and for humans who love a good Grunt birthday party, there’s also a Fiesta version of Gruntpocalypse where you gets random loadouts each time you respawns.

So that abouts sums it up. You know the drill—squad up, stand your grounds, and see if you can still do that Spartan thing you like to do. But don’t be surprised if yer yap gets smacked!

Last Epoch - EHG_Kain
Hello Travelers,

Today we wanted to connect with everyone regarding the recent gold exploit, as well as exploits in general within the online environment. We want to talk a bit about what we’re doing in regards to these issues, and what our plans for the future are.

We take exploits within Last Epoch very seriously and ensure that any time an exploit comes up, we give it our full and immediate attention. We strictly enforce our Terms of Use when it comes to exploits and RMT (Real-Money Trading), and as such, one can expect that abusing such exploits or engaging in RMT, both buying and selling, will result in a permanent account ban.

Since 1.0 has launched, we have been aware of two exploits. The first allowed duplication of items through the bazaar. We were made aware of this exploit three days after its first discovery, and deployed a fix for it the same day. The second exploit we became aware of was the recent gold exploit, which we created and deployed a fix for in less than 24 hours of being made aware of the exploit.

Current Actions

In response to the gold exploit, we have reviewed gold activity on an account level, identifying, and banning those accounts which have been participating in illegitimate gold generation. We don’t want to speak too much to how this was tracked, as it could only really serve to provide bad actors information to try to avoid detection. With this, we are aware of the concerns of legitimate accounts being falsely flagged. We are quite confident in our tracking not falsely flagging accounts, though as always you can appeal any moderation action through http://support.lastepoch.com.

We have also banned accounts with duplicated items from the first exploit, and we have been and are continuing to process and ban all accounts linked to RMT services (both buying and selling). These regular account bans for RMT involvement are actively removing significant amounts of gold from the economy, which we expect will help bring down inflation.

We are aware of the inflation which has occurred within Merchant’s Guild, and are discussing methods to deflate the economy again. We expect the removal of much of this gold through the bans to both those who exploited the gold bug, as well as RMT involved accounts, will help quite a bit, though we are also discussing additional actions. At this point, we’re not implementing any actions which we’re able to talk about, however if we do plan to take any actions which directly effect players we will communicate those actions.

Moving Forward

We want to make sure we’re not only reacting to exploits, and are instead working on proactive measures to prevent exploits in the first place. We’re making sure to act both on a technical level and on a user level. Actions we’re taking on a technical level are much harder to discuss, as saying what we would be doing is just providing information to bad actors on how to try to exploit after. However, we want to strongly state that we are not ignoring these exploits occurring and are taking active measures to combat them.

Lightless Arbor and Runes of Creation generating legitimate duplicate items has also been contributing to the perception of item dupes. Some of this comes from awareness regarding that these legitimate duplicates are possible, as well as to what extent. It may be surprising to know that Lightless Arbor’s Vaults of Uncertain Fates can actually produce up to 12 duplicates of the exact same item. These legitimate duplications can produce some very suspicious-looking listings on the Bazaar. So when we talk about changes on a user level, what we mean is that we are working on not only preventing these exploits, but also this kind of confusion being generated by user experience. As our first action to help address this, we will be introducing mirrored item card graphics to help visually represent when an item is a legitimate duplicate (on duplicated items, the 2D art for the item will be mirrored / flipped).

We’ve also found, in general, the Merchant’s Guild centralizing of gold leads to a fair amount of inflation all by itself, and as such, are looking into and discussing inflation control methods such as implementing a Gold Tax on transactions in 1.1. We don’t want to implement this kind of change during the current cycle as it would be a fairly fundamental change to the Bazaar and Merchant’s Guild. We’ll have more information concerning inflation counters, Tax or other, as we get closer to 1.1.

Closing

We don’t think it’s a very controversial statement to say that abusing an exploit, ruining the game for all players is not acceptable, and that doing so should result in a ban. We also acknowledge this isn’t just on bad actors, but it’s also our responsibility to do everything we can to prevent these exploits from being possible in the first place.

With that said, we want to be clear in stating that we acknowledge the feedback from the community concerning allowing these exploits to have slipped through, and want to make sure we state that we are taking these events very seriously. We are actively investing in both addressing, and preventing these exploits, with no efforts spared, or shirking of the issues.

For The King II - Curve_Ben
Greetings Adventurers,

We have a hotfix for the softlock that happens when encountering a locked chest and the party has no lockpicks. We also have a fix for the subsequent softlock that happened when continuing a game that had encountered the lockpick softlock. From our testing, including save game files from various community reports, it appears that any save game that had the issue should be able to be continued without any issues.

  • Fixed the softlock caused by encountering a locked chest and the party not having any lockpicks.
  • Fixed the subsequent softlock caused by continuing a save game that encountered the lockpick softlock.
  • Fixed an issue where being Protected was not preventing status effects from non-damage attacks.
  • Fixed Evade Down not removing the 5% back row evasion boost on enemies/players that were afflicted with Evade Down.

We will continue to hotfix as we improve the game so please stay tuned for further updates.

Thank you for your continued support!

Crazy Flasher Series 2021 - Andy Law
20240329
Want to make an official modifier for the stand-alone version of Old Flash
I found that Flash 2 was actually developed by as1, so I spent 15 hours transforming it into as2. The next day I found that some flash software bugs failed to be saved inexplicably, so I spent another day revising it.
Modifying the unity collection interface, unity is forced to read the article inexplicably, and the article is read even after restarting. Fortunately, there is a backup, and the backup package is imported into the new project. Hold
The flash software failed to save to disk many times. It was initially determined that global search and replacement had a high probability of failing to save to disk.

English version of Flash 2. Abandon the multi-language version. The transformation cost is too high. Use the original English version for transformation.
Flash 3 turns out to be AS1, fuck, and there is a high chance that the global search and replace will fail to save, so use a higher version of the software to remake it. Just one setProperty alone has more than 300 items that need to be modified. There are currently no save failures found.
It seems that higher versions of flash can solve the problem of global search and replacement failure.

Flashing 4, 5, and 6 modifiers takes less time and takes more than 1 day.

Unity's CPU usage was inexplicably too high, even if the scene was empty. Damn it, and then it was inexplicably low. I suspect it is due to the player, something like Windows forcing itself to update itself.

Oh, and the size limit has been removed. It was set up so that the picture would not be deformed or stuck. Now that the screen size is getting bigger, the picture will be lousy or the lag will be laggy. It’s up to you to enlarge the original intention.

I cried to death when the accident happened again. I thought I was just testing it, but the players said they had seen the modifier. It was the modifier DLC that I used to extend my life. There is no other way but to let players who have already seen it continue to use it, otherwise there will definitely be another flood of bad reviews. DLC is still under review. I should be able to upload it in a while.
