March's update includes a look at the final art work for E2M6 - Lazarus Labs and a small look in to Episode 3's world.
E2M6
The remaining work on E2M6 included the central elevator area, which seems to be blocked by a large mass of growth that the player needs to figure out how to remove, and the highly restricted Aamon Labs(optional secret area), where the TEC kept a lot of specimens from the excavation site(E2M7).
Episode 3
Episode 3 takes place in a completely different part of the universe in another galaxy on a planet called Morsgoroth, an ancient primitive race who don't hold humans in very high regard.
When designing Episode 3 it was important to maintain the design philosophies from the previous episodes while changing things up to feel familiar but different. For example PDA Backup machines don't exist, instead you save inside of Shrine Rooms, there are no medic stations, instead there are rejuvenation pools, and the layouts aren't governed by human needs, such as repair bays, offices, etc so layouts and design are a bit more abstract, but the over all design philosophies still exist for level layouts and connectivity.
The levels themselves are themed in 3 major themes: Fire, Blood, and Earth, and in each of these themes players will encounter various hazards, enemies and art styles.
As you explore the environments you'll come across paintings of various types that tell minor stories. You can use your PDA to translate and learn about their history and how they have a connection to the Abyssals.
Fire: E3M1(block out phase)
Blood: E3M3 - Blood Pits(almost art complete)
Earth: E3M6(block out phase)
In March Episode 3 props were the focus, and all the existing prop and world textures were also updated to make them pop a bit more.
Various props belonging to different rooms, such as bathing rooms, food prep rooms (Morsgorothians are mainly meat eaters), storage and teleporters.
A Brutoroth taking it easy in the bathing room after a hard day of stomping humans.
Buying new furniture isn't everything – it's equally important to have a suitable place to showcase it! Therefore, a new extraordinary property for sale, Reef Cottage, has already been added to the House Flipper! The property awaits someone who will restore it to its former glory, while also uncovering its secret nature, which may be hidden… very deeply.
Surely none of its inhabitants would be able to complain about dull views out the windows. After all, not everyone has the chance to observe two different worlds from the same house, depending on which floor they are on.
Additionally, two new items related to relaxation – a jacuzzi and a sunbed – will be introduced to the game along with this unique house. Take a break and allow yourself to catch a breath of spring. There's also something special in the house, fun videos from the production of the previous 2 House Flipper DLC!
🤔 Did I just see a new addition to the House Flipper Family?
Since yesterday's April Fools' Day, a new mysterious addition to the House Flipper family showed up!!
I asked all the devs, nobody seems to know anything about it... it just poofed into the House Flipper universe and we don't know what to do with it. 👀 Let us know whatcha think about it though! Is it a legit DLC or just an April Fools joke someone's playing on us?
🍽️ A fresh portion of news about the Dine Out DLC is coming!
Already a month since we announced the latest House Flipper DLC! We all think it's about time to drop some updates about how it's going, throw some spicy news out there, and show you what we came up with.
It's been a while since our last update at the Steam Next Fest, but rest assured - the gears of development for Dragon Eclipse have been spinning at a dizzying pace! The Mystlings have grown stronger and fiercer, ready to help you dominate the battlegrounds. ⚔️
We're thrilled to announce that we're gearing up for a launch towards the end of May or early June this year. Let’s start with a brief overview of the most crucial highlights. There’s a full-fledged hub up and running smoothly, accompanied by significant UI and gameplay flow enhancements. We’ve revamped how Blessings are allocated and how leveling works, making the experience more engaging and intuitive. What’s more, acquiring new Mystlings now involves thrilling egg hunts and challenge completions in order to hatch them. Additionally, we've introduced impactful consumable items, adding an extra strategic layer to combat encounters. All that to provide you with an even more dynamic and immersive adventure!
But that's just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to content updates.
Dive deeper into the full changelog:

New Mystlings
But hold onto your hats because plenty's still in the pipeline! We're constantly working on implementing new content, with unique Mystlings, cards, and blessings being our main focus points. Here are some work-in-progress arts of the beasts that are yet to be tamed:
World Map
While a good amount of the graphics you see in the demo version are still placeholders, we’re polishing up the visuals of the game, especially how the map looks. See some behind-the-scenes works:
At the same time, we're looking into refining the overall user experience and game feel. We’re aware that the tutorial and localization are lagging behind, but you can be sure they're in the works. For now, we've decided to put more focus on diligently fine-tuning configurations, testing gameplay scenarios, and hunting down bugs, to ensure the smoothest experience possible. With so many ongoing changes, we want to ensure that our resources and time are invested wisely to adapt to any future alterations seamlessly.
Thank you for playing the demo version of the game, Tamers! Stay tuned for more production updates as we continue to elevate your Dragon Eclipse experience. And remember - watch out for those wild Mystlings waiting to be tamed. 👀
