  • Fixed the colliders of the stairs in certain rooms in the Summoning Chamber levels.
  • Merged the reviewer branch with the default branch of the game application. The reviewer branch was used as a beta test before the full release of the game, so it had no differences from the default branch since the game's release.

Hello there!

The release date is just a month away! Part of the release is gathering the last bit of feedback from players and making some minor adjustments. Here's the latest batch of changes:

  • Updated scan to only highlight objects if they're immediately accessible. Opening a door can reveal more objects to investigate.
  • Added a brief tour of how to interact with the Smartphones. Essentially, interacting with every app on the phone is essential to understanding the full story.
  • Reduced the brightness of the scan effect if it's closer to the player.
  • Reduced the flashlight brightness just a little.
  • Disabled scan effect on doors and moveable objects if they're done being interacted with. This is to minimize clutter with the scan effect.
  • Added a subtle animation to the Primary Scene screen.
  • Updated the localization.

I'll be checking out streams and gathering as much feedback as I can.

It's that time again, the Great Easter Egg hunt is on! Climb the leaderboards with your super Egg hunting skillszzzzz. The Bunny might have left something in the store also. And the bunny was hard at work optimizing stuff so it runs better. So you can blame the bunny is it doesn't work, or maybe it was the Leprechauns from St. Patrick's day that left gremlins around. If you see any send in a report and we will clean it right up. :)

Upcoming PISTOLA 1.3.0

I always talk about PISTOLA as a game we're ashamed of. We thrive to make games we'd like to play regardless of playtime and the niche it fills, so why weren't we treating this one as such?

After a really honest, well made and insightful review, I cloned the PISTOLA repo and started doing some changes.

The performance issue specifically, are a well-known one and multiple people have reported. I had no idea what was done there but I didn't expected it was that bad (my fault, though!)

So, the first step was reworking the enemy code. If an image worths a thousand words, a video worths even more. Here's a before/after with the same amount of enemies spawned (note that as of now, the game gets slower even with games outside the viewport)



Note that this is not released yet!

The goal is to make a update with new content, and I also need to further investigate if player powerups are another source of performance problems so I can handle it as well.

I already have a nice backlog of possible features for this update, such as:
  • Weekly leaderboard
  • New characters with exclusive mechanics
  • New powerups
  • New languages
  • A... companion?!

And that's the part where YOU come in!

We’re grateful for all the interest and excitement around Toxic Crusaders! We had a lot of players stop by to play the demo, where most groups came to play local co-op with 4 players! It was fun seeing reactions from players after noticing all the animations and fun bits you can do in the game.

Trapper: Drug Dealing RPG - phenomshyt
Welcome back Trappers! This is a major update, so it is very likely previous saves won't work properly. Sorry for the inconvenience but it's all in the name of progress. This update includes a major graphical update to about 60 percent of the game including a whole new fleet of vehicles that can be purchased at the used car lot. The Battlemode has also received a huge facelift both cosmetically and gameplay wise. Now battles will be swift and deadly! You only have three rounds to take out your foes before everyone must flee. Well unless you opt to try your hand at one final turn but that can backfire giving your enemies a chance to take you out instead. The rounds are now timed. The first round is 60 seconds, while the second is 45 and the third is 30.
Now in Battlemode, when you play the Nest card or similar defensive cards on offense. You will have the opportunity to reroll or remove enemy cards on defense. Use these opportunities to remove heavy hitting enemy cards like All-Hit or Onslaught. You will also be able to upgrade your defensive cards with the new Crew level up system. This system will allow you to gain xp in battle to progress Dre and his goonz. Each level unlocked gives characters new skills or boosted stats that can be used in battle. Also a ton of bug fixes. I will be dropping a patch in the next 2 weeks so if you find any bugs please drop a comment in the forums.
