As always - we wanted to thank the community in providing invaluable feedback. We encourage to keep it coming and we wanted to remind everyone that our community managers, developers and other management are always monitoring what the players are writing about. Your voices are being heard and we are rolling out patches, improvements and eventually more content for Taxi Life. We have a roadmap in the works that will give the players a better idea of the direction that we're going in with Taxi Life.
With that being said, on behalf of Nacon and Simteract - thank you for playing Taxi Life and your continued support for our game.
We just wanted to give you a quick update on our planned Early Access release date for When the Light Dies.
In the last few weeks we’ve been working on adding additional enemies, dark magic abilities, and weapons to create more variety within each run, and give players more options to manage the existing survival mechanics. We’re also currently working on a progression system which will feature additional stages and more diverse waves to battle against!
While we had originally planned to release into early access this Thursday 28th March (tomorrow!), we’ve unfortunately made the decision to push this back by a few months so that we can ensure that the game has as much content as possible.
Apologies for the super late notice. In the meantime we’ll be updating our demo next week to include a new tutorial stage to help clarify some of the core systems, so stay tuned for that.
This is a small, but very useful update that adds a new box for comparing items in the inventory screen. The window can be opened and closed by pressing TAB in the inventory menu.
Showrunner is part of the Steam Deckbuilders Fest event! It'll be 35% off for the duration of the event, which runs until the 1st of April, so now is a great time to get it!
Last September we released Void Crew on Early Access - that means we've been on this journey for around 6 months now. Time flies!
These months have been filled with a lot of work to make Void Crew the best possible experience, and we still have a lot to do! We're currently working hard on Update 4 - if you want to know a bit more about it, we recommend taking a look at the Highlights from our latest Dev Stream, where we talk about some of the upcoming changes for the game. We have a lot of awesome stuff on the pipeline!
Psst... we also recommend joining our Discord server. We sometimes drop sneak peeks and teasers around there!
We wanted to thank all of you, our community, for these months. Your continued support, feedback and help pin-pointing issues have motivated us to keep working hard, and have greatly helped shaping up Void Crew. We couldn't have done all this without you!
Take a look at the video below to take a trip with us down memory lane; a review of what has changed in Void Crew during these past few months, and what's still to come.
We hope you stick around for the rest of the journey. We are very excited about the future of Void Crew!
