once again! Please forgive me, everyone. My concubine, I really have some difficulties! 1. Actual insurance function; 2. Repair the functions of armor, helmet, and firearms; 3. Fix the bug where NPCs cannot be killed; 4. In a high insight state, medication does not immediately reduce the effectiveness of insight; 5. When the mouse is placed on the item introduction, there may be a problem with ESC getting stuck in tips; 6. Optimized the speed of character movement when walking diagonally; 7. Optimized the issue of shooting when pressing the mouse when opening the task interface in the combat interface; 8. Optimized some text errors; 9. Optimized the opening animation (now each language has its own opening animation).
It is done! We are incredibly thankful for all the positive feedback we received for our first game Lacuna, and we really hope that Between Horizons can live up to your expectations.
We learned a lot ever since Lacuna was released and did our best to apply all these lessons to our new game, providing you with enhanced and more unique detective gameplay. If you played Lacuna, don't expect the core gameplay loop to be the same -- you might be in for some surprises!
Since we're big sci-fi fans (The Expanse, anyone?), we also wanted to create a detective game with an even higher focus on the sci-fi theme. And thus, the idea for Between Horizons was born.

🐛 Bug Fixes • Fixed a ton of soft locks and crashes. Heads up: rare locks & crashes might still happen. • Solved a bug that prevented achievements from unlocking after the first game in each session • Developments now save & load correctly • Completing actions you can’t afford is no longer possible • Movement and vision modifiers now save & load • You can no longer spam to force multiple attacks • Undoing card draw now works as expected • Settler cost now resets correctly if you undo playing the card • Tooltips hidden behind other objects can no longer activate • Removed a 1px gap at the top of the GUI • Breaking changes automatically clear affected save files • Camera pan locks when the application is minimized or a menu is open

Bee Careful! We've made some tweaks to the dream movement physics in Bee Canyon to ensure those busy bees can navigate their hive with ease. Say Cheese! We've ironed out a few wrinkles in the Little Photographer quest events, so you can capture those perfect Everdream Valley moments without a hitch.
Quacktastic Quest: The Bring Ducks To The Farm quest is now operating flawlessly – those ducks will be counted correctly, no feathery fowl play involved!
Wolf Woes: We've also addressed some dream movement physics quirks with wolves and dogs, ensuring a smoother experience for all your farmyard friends (and foes).

[Fixes & Optimizations] 1. Fixed an issue in Chapter Four, "Blood Horror", where picking up "Memory Shard" during the story sequence would cause the game to freeze. 2. Fixed an issue where controller input would not work in the preparation screen and dialogue options screen in some cases. 3. Removed the functionality for the reconnaissance vehicle to operate in the control room of the first act of Chapter Three, "Night Crisis", and the control room of Chapter Four, "Zombieland", as this interaction was causing the game to freeze. 4. Fixed an issue in Chapter Four, "Zombieland", where excess effects appeared on the "Terminally Infected Individual" on the right side of the map. 5. Fixed an issue where language switching could fail in some cases. 6. Fixed the incorrect display of the number of outfits on Atena's outfit menu. 7. Fixed some map terrain errors. 8. Fixed some animation errors. 9. Fixed some text errors. 10. Optimized some art assets. 11. Fixed some tutorial image errors in the English language. 12. Adjusted the text description of Lige's default outfit.
