This Captain's Log will be covering the Upkeep Mini-Update, which is near completion! For those of you that may have forgotten, the Upkeep Mini-Update is a supplementary update that we've been preparing while simultaneously working on the 1.0 Release. We've outlined the overall scope and goals in a previous Captain's Log, and we encourage you to check that out first before reviewing this one.
Outside of the Upkeep Mini-Update's release, we've been making some steady progress in the Black Reliquary Dungeon. We've managed to get the basic enemies completed asset-wise, and we'll be moving towards proper quest creation and bosses after this update.
Upkeep Mini-Update Release Date
As we went over balance issues and content blindspots from the previous big update, we worked out a sufficient number of noteworthy improvements and additions that we'll be ready to release in the near future. The core content of this update will include:
Enemy Resist Scaling Changes
8 New enemies (3 of which we're talking about below!)
A LOT of trinket/hero/monster rebalancing
A handful of new trinkets and quirks
More Bugfixes
The planned release date for the Upkeep Mini-Update is Friday, March 29th.
New Enemies
We're adding in 8 new enemies in total, 5 of which will be Champion difficulty Exclusive threats, and 3 of which will appear in apprentice/veteran.
We've gone over 5 of them in past Captain's Logs, and we'll be reviewing the last 3 here.
The Seneschal will debut as the first size 2 enemy for Lost Legion, appearing in Champion difficulty quests. Taking inspiration from the abilities of the Leper, he will serve a similar role by taking up the frontline and brutally assaulting the first two heroes, occasionally sending them to the back of the party. His preparation round ability is up in the air at the moment, with one core consideration being application of riposte.
The T'hanur's ability set is chiefly focused on support through methods of bolstering its allies through the use of its built-in welding torch and debilitating the heroes by expelling the smog of its internal furnace. When needing to strike back, its welding appendage makes for a suitable pike. This new Kvarotz enemy will appear in all difficulties.
Plying the knowledge of the Ivory Matron, the Wildlander Ripperkin have come to harness the mechanical wraiths of the Valley. As with all Kvarotz machinery, these electrum serpents require blood and bone to sustain themselves, and don't have any particular feeding preference. The Ripperkin will spawn as a size 2 enemy in Champion difficulty, that becomes ramping threat, growing stronger with each enemy it consumes.
1 Year Steam Anniversary!
The 24th of March marks the one-year anniversary of our early access launch on the Steam store! It's been humbling to see all of the love and support you've given us while we navigate our way to the final destination. This project wouldn't be what it is without your feedback and support, and we want to give you a finale which ensures you'll never forget that.
Thank you from the bottoms of our hearts. -Team Reliquary

Update
Fixed the formatting of the location text on the Player UI when in hardcore mode.
Added an achievement for beating the Forest, Desert and Dungeon on hardcore mode.
Added tooltips for the "Resilience" card.
Fixed a bug where you could draw cards that don't exist in the current set with Deck of Many Things artifact
When you view your deck at the Merchant the cards are now sorted by type (Attack, Defense, Power, Utility).
* Fine tune the snail collider for the first time in a while. It is now smaller, among other things. This will fix several issues, such as colliding with signs when you walk underneath them. There should also be less floating above and less clipping into terrain and objects. * Lower default camera position. Now you're not just looking at the ground when you first spawn in, but more straight ahead. * Fix: Top hat sparkle effect wasn't showing at night * Fix: The Tesla zap sound wasn't audible
