Based on your feedback, we made LOTS of changes to the game since the last update. Here are a few of the changes:
Lots of changes to Character Mastery, Unlocks, Weapons, Items, etc. Some items that were unlockables are now combination items, some items have changed how they get unlocked, etc. Added new unlockables and rewards.
Tweaked enemy spawning logic - should feel better.
Changed the Fire Gem Aura ability to be better.
Fixed the 2nd Level MidBoss AI.
Fixed regen for all characters.
Fixed Druid Thorns talent
Recategorized some weapons from being Ranged-type to new Thrown-type
Fixed issue with enemies getting stuck in Invincible mode after defeating level 5 MidBoss.
Fixed Holy Relic weapon
Reduced projectile count for the Trident weapon
Fixed UI bug where it appeared as if you could toggle talents on/off
Fixed defeated bosses not appearing in Codex.
Reduced armor for the level 5 boss
Tweaked some effects to boost performance
Fixed relics that were not working
Achievements should be checked at startup better
Changed Drones to now have a ranged attack
Changed Shell of the Sea to give the Monster a wave attack
Changed Bear's Nature Affinity talent to something that actually makes sense
Reduced enemy explosion timer
There might be some items in here that got changed/fixed that we didn't mention.
This update focused more on bug fixes or fixing glaring issues with balance or performance. We are planning to have at least one more update before the next main content update that will address some of the suggestions made recently by community members to help tweak the feel of the game to be more fun.

Hello, When playing with trains, you tend to spend a lot of time building train stops. In my latest playtesting, I noticed a few annoyances and pain points, which we will go in to today, along with some other improvements for 2.0.

Today we want to highlight a workaround for any Steam Deck users experiencing issues with Headbangers: Rhythm Royale. We've found that Headbangers performs better on Steam Deck after following these steps:
Open the Steam Menu by pressing the button labelled 'Steam' on your Steam Deck
Select 'Settings' from the list and then select 'System'.
Scroll down to 'System Options' and enable 'Developer Mode'
Go back to the Settings list and select 'Developer'
Scroll down and deselect 'Enable WiFi Power Management'

Battle of the Dancers is separate from our tournament mode. In our battle royale tournament mode for Headbangers, players tap, flap, and rap their way to victory in a series of manic musical mini-games against up to 29 other player-controlled pigeons, battling their way to become Master Headbanger. You can select between the two modes in our Season 3 Menu.

Today, I'd like to address the topic of saving and loading game progress. It's unfortunate that players occasionally encounter difficulties when trying to load their game saves.
However, in the upcoming videos, I aim to show you that saving game progress poses no discernible challenges. There are important points to consider, especially in the event of in-game death, which I'll elaborate on here.
When you die in the game, it's crucial to retrieve your inventory. Simply reloading the game to restore your inventory is not advisable.
Here's what happens when you die in the game:
The game progress is automatically saved.
You'll respawn at your last secured respawn point.
If you haven't set a respawn point, you'll start in the starting zone.
Your inventory remains at the location where you died.
The lost inventory remains in place for a certain amount of time.
Some players might attempt to exit the game without saving and loading the game state. Here's what happens in that scenario:
The respawn cannot be loaded because the player didn't save, resulting in no respawn point being available.
The lost inventory is no longer present at the location where the player died, as it despawns after a limited time.
Reloading a game state causes the lost inventory to immediately despawn.
Notification:
A notification will also appear, reminding you to retrieve your inventory. Afterwards, you'll respawn either at the starting point or at your last respawn point that you've set. However, if you attempt to load the game state without saving beforehand, you'll start at the beginning.
