After an extremely successful Closed Beta period on PlayStation and over 15 months of Early Access development here on Steam, we're extremely excited to announce that next week we'll be making the leap to Open Beta!
On March 28th 2024, Predecessor will be transitioning to Open Beta, becoming free to play for everyone.
This is a critical phase for our development: we’re going free to play for Open Beta because we need as many players as possible playing the game. Lots of players in lots of regions means we can track performance, make data-focused changes, and learn what we need as we move toward the finish line.
We're not sure just yet how long Open Beta will run, but the more people that play, the faster we’ll be able to iterate and improve. So please jump back in, bring a friend or two, stream your play sessions, post on socials, and, most of all, have a blast!
The new update to Private Property has just dropped! So jump into the game, but watch out for new enemies: VULTURES! They can be tricky!🤠 We also fixed some small bugs.
What's next? As you may have seen on our Roadmap, we are working on another mode for you: Deathmatch.
I'm not ready to share the moon yet, but I decided to post a small update as I had some minor improvements and bugfixes I figured should go live.
Changelog:
Worker bays with occupants have green lights on edges
Worker list is sorted by workers without jobs first, skill second
Forcefield and glass blocks now use range of your shovel, if you have one
Added power range to generator info (showing the amount of power needed if all crafting stations are off vs on)
Added sideways ramps
Meteors and torpedoes no longer damage objects through blocks or objects - the path to the explosion center must be unobstructed
If forcefield is selected in inventory and the door does not have a forcefield, the door will give a place forcefield option instead of open/close door to place forcefields in all door blocks at once (consuming the forcefields)
We have made another update with a new bug fixed that will enhance your Wuxia experience!
Here is the details of this update:
Fixed the bug where the upper limit of HP and MP were not obtained normally when using the Quick Upgrade on Cultivation Methods in the Martial Art menu.
Once again thank you for your support and patience as we work on fixing these bugs! If you encounter any other bugs, feel free to submit them to us in our bug report form which you can find here.
The battle against the mysterious evil befalling the island of Anareios inches closer. Sign up now for Closed Beta and be among the first to brave the winding road riddled with the Fallen and the choices you must make to survive.
Thank you to everyone who has played Funky Karts over the years, it has been a pleasure making a game that you enjoy. I am posting to let you know that the game will be removed from sale on Steam in the coming days. This should not have any impact on existing players, as the game runs completely offline with no servers. So you'll be able to finish the game at your own pace; I know some of those levels can be quite challenging!
Thank you for your feedback. The updates for this time are as follows: 1. Settings - The game interface has added an option to block certain spell skill effects. 2. Starting the game now will prompt whether to preheat the shader to avoid prolonged preheating time affecting the game's start.
Note: To ensure the best gaming experience, please make sure you have downloaded the latest version of the game.
