Warhammer 40,000: Gladius - Relics of War - FremboT3
We're releasing a new update for Gladius. As per usual, please let us know what you think of the list of changes. Your feedback is essential to keep improving the game.
The team is currently hard at work. We'll have news about new content soon.
Changes since 1.12.03
Bug Fixes
Fixed crashes that could occur in multiplayer while on a relayed connection.
Fixed some server crashes that could occur in multiplayer.
Fixed an animation issue with the Techpriest Dominus.
Fixed animation / sound issues with bombing run attacks.
Fixed Craftworld Aeldari and Adepta Sororitas growth modifiers not working as intended.
Today's update features a ton of small tweaks, fixes, and changes to almost every level in the game. Here are some of the highlights:
- New Setting: Panel Quality - Try the low setting here if you're encountering any instability while playing. - Settings: View Clip - Changed the name to Render Distance to help clarify what this actually does. - Maps Folder - This should now be created automatically the first time you try to open it. - Level 1 - Several small tweaks, including a Look Up! sign. - Level 2 - Several small tweaks, including a fix for the infamous RETRACT puzzle. - The Library - Fixed a bad puzzle, and is now unlocked from both entrances.
...and a bunch more! No new content this time, but hopefully these updates will make things smoother for folks just getting started.
A great big welcome to everyone who has found the game since the last update. I hope you're having an enjoyable time experiencing this world. I am chipping away at the next one and looking forward to sharing more about it with you when it's a bit farther along.
Small but significant patch today. While the file-size of this update is a bit larger than normal, there is little to actually see in game. That's because all of the changes in this update are either small aesthetic changes or internal progress on chapter 2. This update also officially marks the game's transition to formal release and leaving early access. Note that this does not change the fact that MORE CONTENT IS COMING SOON! I have a lot planned and there is a lot left to be added but I think it is more accurate to display this game as formally released than in early access. Changes in this update include:
Updated disclaimer screen
Updated button interaction in the bonus content menu
Updated space background graphics in the secondary menu
I will be uploading the REBUILD update to Steam later today or tomorrow. It will erase your previous save data upon the initial boot up. Unfortunately, this was necessary because of the massive changes made to the game. If you want to finish your current run, do so before installing the new update.
I assure you another investigation through The Pines Hotel will be worth it. There are new items, sound effects, animations, scares, enemy placements, game mechanics, options, along with a whole new look for the game. This will be the ultimate version of the game. I hope you enjoy it.

Let's dive right into the patch notes for Plebs & Pillagers' most recent v0.8.9 demo update! A month has passed since the last update, and I mostly spent my time on adding new features while making sure to fix bugs which impacted the experience.
New Features & Changes:
Mood system: There was a simple mood system before, but now the mood for each pleb is tracked individually. Plebs in a bad mood might leave the village.
Trait system: Plebs now have specific traits which impact how fast they walk or work, how much they tend to eat, and also how much their mood is impacted by certain events.
Preferences: Plebs will now prefer to do specific jobs. Allowing them to do that job will not only make them happier, but also make them better/faster.
Pleb quests: Each day, a set count of plebs will have a (re-)quest for you! Fulfilling it will cash you some money and will also increase the pleb's mood greatly.
Overhauled the main house indoors: You can now cook and sleep in the main house. But most importantly: The treasurer will now show you all kinds of useful stats!
Fishing: You can now buy a fishing rod to catch some fish! The fisherman who sells the fishing rod will then buy different fish every day, so you'll be able to make quite some money!
Cooking: You cannot only catch and sell, but also cook fish! This will help you keep your food stocks up to keep everyone satisfied.
Soldier equipment: You can now directly choose what equipment soldiers should use, giving you more control.
Fixes:
Fixed a bug which would (possibly) break your save when saving indoors
Loading an autosaved save state would skip a day. Fixed now.
Mood gain by defeating enemies works again
The villager limit is now calculated correctly. Guards on towers wouldn't count to the limit when checking if a new pleb should spawn, but still impacted the mood decrease when there are too many plebs.
Many more small adjustments and fixes
The gameplay has become a lot deeper with this update. I really hope you like it! This will also (most likely) be the last demo version before the full release. I cannot confirm the release date yet, but I'm very much trying to get this game out this year! Looking forward to your feedback!
