Updated UI: - Updated best times menu to procedurally populate all level buttons in a horizontal scrollbar (some are not currently available to play) -- Updated level select menu to single column scrollbox and procedurally generated buttons for each level
Optimizations: -- Made some changes to lighting in levels to have less performance draw while still allowing for enough lighting to play and appear to be on a stage. -- Removed the raytracing option from the game. -- optimized some materials and meshes.
Additions: -- Added Levels 11-14 (are not playable through normal play mode, game still resets to main menu after level 10, choose 11=14 through level select screen for now until I decide where to place them in the list of levels based on difficulty)
Changes to come: -- More levels -- Rework of wall jump for better height control -- vaulting up the edge of walls (partially implemented - not fully functional) -- ground sliding -- Endurance climb mode
I can finally show you more progress for Raiding.Zone. I need to rework all talents for all weapons, armors, trinkets, and boots.
Weapons and boots are more or less done. I think I can finish the armors and trinkets next week.
The new talent trees are circular
Each weapon has 16 unique talents. You start to skill them from the center. The red circles are ultimate talents that grant you additional spells or auras.
Feel free to explore the other weapons. I didn't want to paste all the trees into the blog. Weapons
There are also new talent trees for each role. You can find them under each weapon talent tree.
Initially, I thought I could release something this week but the talent rework was way too much. After finishing armor and trinket talents, I only need to add drop rates for the new materials.
Beach Buggy Racing 2: Island Adventure - VectorMatt
We are excited to announce a first for Beach Buggy Racing: A brand new, limited edition Rez plush toy! We are crowdfunding this toy on Makeship now through April 5.
Several months ago we asked Beach Buggy Racing fans on our Discord Server to find out which character they most wanted to see as a plush toy. Rez won the vote, and we went straight to work with our friends at Makeship to design a toy that perfectly captures Rez's smirky attitude.
Here's how the crowdfunding works:
We need to sell at least 200 copies of the toy for it to go into production. To make the deal even more sweet, we’re offering a special gift — every order of the Rez plush also comes with a code for a Mound of Gems redeemable in Beach Buggy Racing 2 (mobile edition).
Don’t delay, because when the campaign ends on April 5, the chance to buy Rez will zoom off in a cloud of flame.
I would love to share with you just a small sneak peek of the upcoming Terraforming update. I am very excited to share it with you! What is coming to the game?
CREATURES CAPTURE
An upcoming update makes exploration more meaningful, where you can find plants and creatures to capture. New Farms and Barns are using provided life and reproduce it over time.
NEW ENVIRONMENTS
The number of available biomes doubles from 8 to 16. Each has its own unique properties, different chances to generate plants/creatures. In addition, new shapes and bigger sizes of planets are available in parallel universes.
NEW RECIPES / GAS EXTRACTION
There are many new recipes and technologies in every universe. This gets us closer to the finals shape of the tech tree. It is rewarding players traveling to the second or third dimension!
BUCKET TOOL / VOXEL DESIGNER
New update brings new tools. For example, bucket tool allows reshaping terrain horizontally and vertically. Thanks to new voxel designer, it's possible to create new predefined voxel shapes to apply on the planets and sharing with community.
As a reminder, Steam Spring Sale just started and Astro Colony has the highest discount since the game release! Don't forget to tell your friends about it!
EvoLive v0.6 is a big step forward, making my life simulation vision reality! As the cell internals and game logic stabilizes I started to make the game more discoverable! Hover over any GUI element to get a descriptive text of what it does! I recorded EvoLife University videos to explain core concepts and features! The game is far from complete but I feel like future releases do not need to be complete overhauls but additional customization features, visualizations and expanding possibilities on a stable base!
Please feel free to comment, provide feedback here, on Reddit or YouTube comments. I would be happy to hear any feedback you have! Report a bug, suggest a feature, ask a question!
In this release:

Joints interacting with the fluid simulation (I want jellyfishes)
