Legacy Level Support BETA
We're finally adding the ability to drag and drop levels from the legacy version into the most up-to-date version of Beat Banger. This feature is still in beta, so bear with us while we work out all the bugs! You should be able to drag and drop zip file versions of legacy levels directly into your mods menu to load them. While I have made a decent bit of progress on game related things, I am having a pretty busy and travel-filled weekend, so I will skip writing a long post this time.
Progress is being made on all sides, from improving buildings and graphics to a bug fix and creation of new production chains, so at least you can be certain that things are moving along!
Exciting news to share - development update 6 has been released and is ready for you to explore! Introducing a thrilling new addition to the Endure or Perish universe: Farming. This update features fresh items and a new buildable, expanding the gameplay experience. Check out the breakdown below to see all the exciting new content awaiting you in this latest update.
[Items] In this upcoming update, seeds will become available for collection through harvesting the plants that naturally grow throughout the map.
[Buildables] New buildables that will be appearing in this update is planter boxes, were seeds collected from foraging for food can be planted and food producing plants can be cultivated, adding another layer to the game play of the game.
We've also made a few more QOL adjustments to improve gameplay and performance.
As always we appreciate our fans and supporters, stay tuned for more exciting updates!!
It's impossible to please everyone with a game, especially one with as much hype as this. When making the 2.2 update I talked to speedrunners and tried to take as little away from the existing game as possible, while still making it accessible to newcomers.
Some suggestions I heard: - Nobody likes the music - The Physics are too hard for beginners - The animations make hitboxes harder to see, and make speedrunning harder
Some suggestions I've heard since V2: - The game feels unfinished there's no music - The Physics are too easy for speedrunners - The game feels unfinished there's no animations
Here's the changes I've made: - I've reverted the physics back to pre-2.0 - I've added in some of the old sound effects
I'm planning to make the old version playable. All runs are archived while we figure out the best way to do that.
Anyway, I missed. My motivations for doing this update to begin with was to make the community happy. If it weren't for them I wouldn't have made the new maps to begin with, so I want to make sure I get this right. If you have any suggestions please join our discord and ping me anytime
