I've made a huge overhaul to the graphics system to aim for a much higher baseline FPS, especially on mid-level systems. The results look very promising so you should hopefully see a big improvement in responsiveness. As always please leave any feedback in the community hub or on the discord. I will reply to all feedback and if there are any issues I will address them. Hope you enjoy this update.
What's next
Next on the list will be some big improvements to the line dynamics. It's not quite where I want it right now and these are some changes I'm planning:
Overall better in-air behavior.
More consistent line turn-over.
Less resistance when pulling line from the water.
Will also be including a new level in the next update. Plus many other improvements!

We're immensely grateful for the players who take the time to point out the little mistakes we've missed. While we can't promise everything will get patched, we're doing our best and we're grateful for your patience and support.
Patched a bug in hints for the extra bonus stories
A huge "thank you" to the player who pointed out a bug in the extra scenario hints. These hints were provided to players who had difficulty unlocking certain special bonus stories, such as Gone Rogue and Yandere. In the release version (1.0.0) of the game, the "affection value" provided in hints was displayed incorrectly as the number of times a player passed the unlock location.
We want to reassure players that in our testing, we found that all affected scenarios were still unlockable, and that it was only the affection value displaying in hints that was incorrect. However, we also felt that this missed the point of hints being helpful, and so we've patched it.
Upcoming Support for Steam Achievements
After an embarrassing amount of testing on our end, we've managed to provide support for Steam Achievements. Currently, we have 11 achievements available, with the intent to add a couple more with the release of Season 2.

As some of you may have noticed, the release of the full version of the game The Braves is being postponed to April.
We have read all your feedback and thanks to it, we have planned a huge number of improvements and additions! For example, your comments about the similarity of the heroes did not go unnoticed. We are actively working to create a unique gaming experience for each of them. A good example of what awaits you can be the existing heroes: Truffaldino, Risha, Jeannette, Alister, and the Great Nameless. Each of them will have unique abilities, making the gameplay even more exciting and engaging! For instance, remember the two dragon tamers? They turned out to be not as simple as it might seem! Ancient blood flows in their veins, allowing them to transform right in the midst of battle!
Speaking of enemies, a global update for them is in progress! New mechanics, attacks, and properties will be added to familiar enemies, as well as dozens of new opponents on new maps!
Furthermore, in the game, new skills will be introduced, and existing ones will be improved. For those who missed the latest update or have not yet received heroes with updated abilities, we have prepared a small presentation, hurry to watch the video:

Stage 1 New Balance: Starting with an update of 50 or more weapons, followed by continuous updates with the addition of new weapons.
Stage 2 Re-Balancing: Creating a new weapon ecosystem with enhanced gameplay through the repositioning of all weapons.
Stage 3 Post-Balance: Strengthening balance management based on various user experiences in the newly changed environment.
