This update includes the following enhancements:

- Added shift sprint functionality; now both shift and spacebar keys can be used to sprint.
- Introduced the ability for a certain character to see rune stones, aiding players in locating remaining rune stone positions.

Toy Box - Anagrams: The lever inside the dollhouse, once pulled, cannot be interacted with again.

Gallery Room - Basement: Butterflies in the corridor no longer respawn; even if a team member (not the host) leaves, the remaining players can continue playing.

Glimmer in Mirror - TT
Dear players and friends, greetings to everyone!

The annual Steam Spring Sale is here! Glimmer in Mirror has completed the beta testing for the 0.7 update and is now officially updated to version 0.7. During the Spring Sale, the game will be available at a historic low price of 25% off. We welcome everyone to experience it!

Although the important update details have been mentioned in the previous announcements, we understand that some friends might have missed them. Therefore, we would like to reiterate:

This major update involves numerous modifications to the game systems. The game engine has been upgraded from the old Unity 2017 version to the 2021 version. Throughout this process, we encountered and resolved countless bugs. After a month of beta testing, we are finally able to officially update to version 0.7, and the old version 0.6 will be archived in the v0.6 branch.

Unfortunately, due to significant adjustments to the game systems and the early-stage large map in version 0.7, old saves from previous versions will not be compatible. When players update to the new version, their saves will appear as empty, requiring a fresh start. However, the old version saves will not be deleted. If you wish to play the old version, you can switch to the v0.6 branch. Here's how to switch branches:

Right-click on Glimmer in Mirror in your Steam library, select "Properties," go to the "Betas" tab on the right side, and choose "v0.6" in the "Select the beta you would like to opt into" section. Select "None" to switch back to the default branch:



Now, let's share the specific changes we made in the 0.7 version:
  1. Character Progression:
    Now Shiro will gain experience and level up after defeating enemies. With each level, her HP, ATK, and DEF will increase to a certain extent.


  2. Monster Echo System:
    There is a chance to unlock a monster's "Echo" after defeating it. Echoes provide Shiro's property bonuses, and each type of monster has its own "Echo Skill". Equipping different echoes can enhance Shiro's skills. Echoes can be strengthened using materials dropped by monsters.


  3. Combat System Modifications:
    The recovery method of Shiro's Glimmer has changed from rapid time-based recovery to "slow time-based recovery and recovery based on damage dealt during attacks." Monsters now have higher base damage and lower HP. Defeating monsters will drop recovery items and material items, preventing the situation where "Shiro and monsters have a lot of HP, making battles time-consuming." Some enclosed encounters will be scattered in the wilderness, and completing these encounters will get collectible rewards.

  4. Character Abilities:
    Elemental Skills: The existing "Piercing Lights" has been changed from a regular skill to an ice elemental skill, which consumes SP for activation. After completing the challenge level in the Fairy Forest, you can obtain a new fire elemental skill.
    Basic Attack (Light Surge): The control method for Light Surge has changed to a long press for continuous release, and no longer requires consecutive button presses.
    Light Impact: Light Impact has changed from a charged skill to an instant cast skill. By default, it does not penetrate enemies but can break shields. Through the Echo system enhancements, it can be manually aimed and penetrate enemies.
    Recovery Ability: Shiro can now collect candy particles dropped by enemies to craft candy for health recovery. (Requires unlocking the recovery skill to use)
    Dash Ability: After completing the challenge level in the Bell Tower, Shiro can unlock a dash ability called "Shadow of the Future"



  5. New Maps: This update does not introduce new chapters after the main storyline. However, new maps and challenges have been added to the existing Fairy Forest and Forest of the Beginning areas.


  6. Other Updates:
    Now you can teleport through mirrors.
    Custom keybindings are now supported for controllers.
    The Fairy Forest store has new items for purchase.
    You can hold down the accelerator key to speed up cutscenes.
    New BGMs.
    etc.

Although the game has undergone testing in the Beta branch, there may still be undiscovered bugs. If anyone encounters any bugs, please feel free to report them to feedback@mapledorm.com . We will try our best to fix them soon. Thank you!

After this major update, the game's systems have become stable, so the development of new content will proceed steadily. We will be adding the remaining monster echo skills that have not been fully implemented in the 0.7 version through subsequent updates. Additionally, we are already working on the development of version 0.8, which will introduce a new main level where Shiro ventures into a snowy, icy-themed world. In this world, She will use a "new form of adventure." Here are some concept art images of the scenes:




Meanwhile, we would like to apologize for the current poor localization of the game. Supporting such a wide range of languages has been challenging for our small team. During the early access stage, as the game content undergoes frequent adjustments, supporting a large number of languages increases the risk of errors and incurs high communication costs. Therefore, in future game version updates, we will prioritize ensuring the localization of English and Japanese. Once the game transitions from early access to the official release, we will provide localization for other languages. This is a hard decision, but I believe that it will ultimately lead to better outcomes.

Blood Domination - Abracadabra Studios
Hello everyone!

We hope you've enjoyed the content in Blood Domination so far. Our team is currently working on patching some minor fixes, as well as support for Steam Achievements.

Patch 1.0.1 Summary

Fixing a handful of typos, amending the FAQ, and more...

Our initial release was the culmination of a lot of hard work, but we're only human and we're a very small team. Inevitably, small things were missed as we focused on the big picture. We're immensely grateful for the players who take the time to point these little mistakes out. We can't promise everything will get patched, but we're doing our best.

A bug in hints for the extra bonus stories

We also want to say thank you to the player who pointed out a bug in hints. These hints were provided to players who had difficulty unlocking certain special bonus stories, such as Gone Rogue and Yandere. In the release version (1.0.0) of the game, the "affection value" provided in hints was incorrectly displaying as the number of times a player passed the unlock location.

We want to reassure players that in our testing, we found that all affected scenarios were still unlockable, and that it was only the affection value displaying in hints that was incorrect.

This display issue will be patched in 1.0.1.

Upcoming Support for Steam Achievements

We intend to provide support for Steam Achievements. It was low priority during initial development, since we wanted to focus on the actual content of the game. Now that the game has been released, we're working on adding them in as soon as we can.

For testing purposes, the Steam Achievements are already live and visible on our Steam page, but will not be active until the patch is released.

Bug fixes

  • Achievement issue - Rectified an issue related to achievement “Endgame”; completing level 9 or 10 after already finishing level 11 will now correctly unlock the achievement for completing all levels.
  • Campaign level “These suits are made for rolling” - Fixed a bug that prevented bartenders from refilling bars.
  • Campaign level “These suits are made for rolling” - Resolved a bug that prevented engaging in small talk with the pit boss in the "These Suits Are Made for Rolling" level.
  • Campaign level “These suits are made for rolling” - Corrected an issue with the 'V.I.P.'s subtask of the ‘No Horns, All Class' mission where the objective couldn’t be completed.
  • Campaign level “These suits are made for rolling” - Fixed a bug causing visitors to stop arriving in the “These Suits Are Made for Rolling” mission.
  • Building - Rectified an issue regarding doors; moving a door could previously result in deleting adjacent walls.
  • Building - Corrected problems with walls in the basement that could obstruct doors when building adjacent rooms.
  • Building - Fixed a duplication issue with doors: doors may have been duplicated when moving areas.


Other:
  • Fixed multiple overflowing/truncated text issues in the menus and UIs.
  • Multiple localization fixes, particularly for Korean, Japanese, and traditional Chinese.
  • Addressed several exceptions that may have been unnoticed by players but should enhance overall stability.
  • Resolved various animation issues.
  • Completed remaining adjustments on the sandbox research trees (research rewards prices, marketing effort cooldowns…).
  • Adjusted a small portrait inconsistency in the UI, where Kat's portrait would erroneously appear instead of Ziggy's.

More tweaks for you Tweakers!

Following player feedback, the police bribe and raid system have been adjusted to be a little more gentle before shaking you down!

Changes:
  • Bribes are now every four days, instead of every two days.
  • When you 'accept' the attack instead of the bribe, they are not as severe.
  • Police will now ask for a maximum of 30% of your drug-related income every four days. Instead of the bribe being able to scale infinitely (Until you accept an attack).

    -Note, this is not a constant embellishment, but a payment of your drug-based income every four days.
    This will allow you to not go bankrupt, but also offer a means of defending yourself.

Optimizations:
  • Further optimization to large businesses with lots of products, appliances and employees
  • Disabling overlay UIs (such as quality) will now yield higher fps

Bug Fixes:
  • A fix to employees getting stuck in an eating/cooking loop, resulting in them eventually dying to something like illness from not showering because they're eating too often.
  • A fix to non-gun traps not triggering.
  • A fix to saving and re-loading during a delivery to clients that results in the client AI getting stuck and standing still.
  • A fix to saving and re-loading whilst an item is being placed in a bin that causes to the AI to get stuck and standing still.
  • A fix to the appliance health not showing the accurate value in the appliance UI.
  • A fix to NPC's phasing through doors and counter flaps.

Other Changes:
  • Products do not have an overlay UI displayed permanently now. Instead, to view what products are currently within an appliance, there is a tooltip over the new icon within the appliance overlay.
