STAR WARS™: The Old Republic™ - SWTOR Community Team
Galactic Seasons 6 “Building a Foundation” will begin with the launch of Game Update 7.4.1! Once the update goes live, players will be able to make progress through the Free Reward track or the Subscriber Reward track (both tracks are available to Subscribers!) and earn new rewards. Below are the details of what players can expect from this new season!
A new BIG reward
Once completing Galactic Seasons objectives and unlocking level one on the rewards track, players will have unlocked a new Stronghold based in Copero!
In this season’s story, “Building a Foundation”, players will be connecting with the Inkrokini Chiss family. Historically the Chiss Ascendancy forbade outsiders from accessing their worlds, as well as shunning the use of the Sight (the Force) among their own people. The Inrokini family sees the changing times across the galaxy and wishes to learn what strengths the other sentients of the galaxy possess, including the Sight, so that they can better prepare their own people. Secretly, and without the knowledge of the rest of the Ascendancy, they set up a remote facility in the mountains of Copero, and discreetly invite the player to recruit experts from other species. They offer the use of Chiss technology and a safe haven to pursue various kinds of training, in exchange for observation.
Three story missions can be unlocked from the Galactic Seasons track. The new story content will take place in the Copero Stronghold and three narrative NPCs will be unlocked alongside the story content and present in the residence. The story unlocks are found at levels 1, 15, and 40 on the tracks with level 1 unlocking the Stronghold itself.
Subscribers will have three additional room unlocks on their reward track at levels 42, 67, and 94 and three additional rooms can be unlocked using Cartel Coins or Credits.
If a player has completed the mission on any character, they will be able to re-acquire the mission items on other characters from the Galactic Seasons vendor, Jaliet Nall. While story missions are optional and the player can continue progress on the Reward Track regardless of story mission completion, remember that the story unlocks are directly tied to unlocking rooms in your new Stronghold! Story mission unlocks and keys to purchased rooms will be available in Collections.

The new season begins with the launch of Game Update 7.4.1!
This week our update is more designy focus, as we are right in the thick of designing the game’s structure and player purpose.
Update #3 Exploration
Exploration is our next major update to the game. It will greatly enhance the overworld experience, map exploration, UI experience, dynamically generated quests based on NPC motives, and player progression.
Zach is busy working on the Dynamic Quest engine and making good progress putting the prototype into the game.
Jessi and Phil continue on the new UI. It’s about 2/3 done the design process, hopefully the design work will be done in about 2 weeks
Regions are a core component to the Exploration update, so I’ll explain them a bit more
Regions
A region is a self contained section of the map like a a territory on the Risk board.
A region is one administrative unit
It has a name, people can refer to it, “You’ll find dyes in Fessex province.”
Contains a small number of towns (2-3), with roads between them. The region functions as one political unit.
It has one leader - a noble of a certain house
It has one set of rules/edicts that govern it
NPCs in a region all feel the same way about topics: like the nobles, a kingdom, or the people of another region
A region can be at war with another region (instead of town vs town)
A region is affiliated with the Conclave or Renegades
A region has a specific biome - swampy, desert, forest, rolling grasslands, ashen mordor
A region has one (or a few) resources natural to it. This makes something special about each region.
A region has one kind of base problem in it: it has a giant spider problem, or plague, or drought, OR marauding goblins, instead of everything everywhere like we’ve currently done
Regions have a difficulty level. This region is Level 1, that one is 10, that one is 20, another is 30. (We don’t actually have levels but you get the idea).
Later when Kingdoms are added, they are simply a collection of regions ruled by one monarch. Any region not affiliated with a monarch are ‘free city states’ like medieval venice or ancient Sparta
A region has specific ins and outs the player can travel between them.
They can no longer just walk through the mountains, have to take a pass.
The pass can be blocked by problems like avalanche, bandits, or a gryphon
We can focus the map generator on making interesting regions well. Then we make a map by generating N number of regions.
You will be able to customize your experience at 1.0 where you can change the size (# of regions) for a map.
Each region will have historical events, which you will see in the world gen screen.
Regions represents a massive change to the world structure and game map. This will be a save breaking change. But don’t worry, it won’t be out for several months so you have plenty of time.
Regions solve tons of problems with the game! It is time we get to it. This is a core component to the Exploration update Mark and Thomas are working on.
Mini-Update Rival Combat
Rivals is a small update adding the ability to fight specific named mages in the game. These mages specialize in one of the schools and present a unique challenge to the player.
Phil and I playtested Rivals and found some issues. We’re both off this week, giving the team time to find solutions. Next week we’ll playtest again and see where it is at. It’s real close!
James, Tyler, and Nolan are improving some of the aspects
No Patch This Week
With Phil and I off this week we decided to just pause the weekly patch. There will be a patch next week. We’ll also be off Steam forums and Discord for a week. I think you can manage without us. 😝
Just over a month ago we have announced Children of the Sun, and the sheer ammount of feedback and people playing the demo was overwhelmingly amazing. And today with even more eagerness and joy we are happy to announce the release date of Children of the Sun.
Check this amazing trailer to find out the date, and whishlist Children of the Sun if you already didn't!
It's been a few pretty fun weeks after the first announcement of the game and the release of the demo. There were lots of really nice words and great feedback coming from you. I appreciate everyone who gave the Demo a moment of their time. Thank you very much!
So now that release date is public, I guess I finally need to actually finish the game. Ha! I'm excited to see this thing being out in the wild. And I'm looking forward to hear what you think about it!"
Thanks to everyone who took part in the competition, we are honestly overwhelmed by the number of participants. As a reminder, the goal was to get into the top 3 of one of the levels of the demo version during Steam Next Fest. Many bullets were fired and wasted on the way to victory.
But here are the winners. By the way, due to this joyous day our glorious Leader decided to grant blessings to 5 people instead of 3!
Hey, Renegades! I’m Andy Duthie, Executive Producer for HAWKED. I want to start with a huge thanks to the 1,000,000 plus Renegades who joined us since the launch of HAWKED on PC, PlayStation, and Xbox on February 15. This was a fantastic result for the team, and we’re all thrilled to see so many of you making X-Isle your new stomping ground.
But our work doesn’t end here. We aim to make the game stable and satisfying on all platforms so we can continue bringing new Renegades to X-Isle and actively support HAWKED for years to come. To that end, we have a full slate of content planned for the rest of 2024 (and beyond). We’re also paying close attention to your feedback via Support, social media, and reviews, and we're hammering out bug fixes, balance improvements, and quality-of-life updates as fast as we can.
In today’s Dev Diary, join me for a look at our current priorities, the next content update, and our plans for Issue #2.
VENTURE 3 UPDATE (MARCH 19)
Issues will typically consist of four Ventures, regular updates larger in size and scope than a standard update. They will introduce new Quests to advance HAWKED’s ongoing saga, sometimes new features, and everything you’d expect from a regular patch.
Venture 1 arrived with Early Access in November, followed by Venture 2 with the launch in February. Now, let me give you an overview of Venture 3, the next major content update arriving on March 19:
The Story Continues: New Quests will be available in Venture 3, continuing the events of Venture 2. Familiars have chosen their champions in the form of Cynthia, Nellie, Bjorn, and Bodhi, and it’s up to you to help them find their destiny. How do you think the story for Issue #1: Renegades will pan out?
Weapon Upgrades: If you’re looking for more ways to spend your CRED while staying competitive, we’re adding the ability to upgrade your weapons via X-Isle's Extraction Points.
More Loot: Three new Artifacts will be available to find across X-Isle that can impact your accuracy, cooldowns, and healing.
Class System: We want to help you understand how your Loadout works and how it affects your gameplay. Factoring in the number of weapons, Boosters, Artifacts, and Gear, HAWKED has over 100,000 possible Loadout combinations. That can be pretty overwhelming, and players gravitate towards ‘meta builds’ rather than their personal preferences. But there’s no wrong way to play, and with this update, you’ll be able to see your current Class from your Loadout screen. That will show you the type of buffs and advantages you can expect from your current Loadout. You won’t be able to choose presets, but it should offer more insight into how changing a component such as your Exo Gear can impact your gameplay. Tweak it to find your ideal playstyle!
Improvements: We’re still stamping out bugs thanks to your reports. Additionally, you can expect a few other changes, including updates to the in-game Shop UI, to make it more user-friendly.
Keep an eye out for the update notes for more details. We hope you look forward to playing Venture 3 soon!
CURRENT PRIORITIES
We are still laser-focused on improving HAWKED based on your feedback. Here are a few of our current projects:
Shop: You told us the Shop needs more stock and that the current offerings are too expensive. With that in mind, we will be massively expanding the Shop in a forthcoming update with even more items and adding spotlight discounts and limited-time items. We are reviewing your feedback regularly and may make more adjustments in the future, too.
Matchmaking: While we’re trying to grow the HAWKED audience, we’re constantly making changes to ensure the matchmaking experience is solid for current players.
Movement: We hear you, and this mechanic is high on our list for improvement. I hope to have more to share in future updates.
New Mode: Our first new mode is currently in development! We’re working out the best time and way to release it for now, but you can look forward to a new way to play HAWKED in the coming months.
UI Revamp: With the launch of HAWKED, we completely overhauled our color palette and made many other UI improvements. We’re working on even more changes, including changes to the Loadout menu and making other menus more straightforward to navigate. As this is an ongoing project, we would appreciate your feedback on areas you’d like us to improve, so be sure to share your requests with us.
Prestige Changes: To help keep you pro Renegades engaged with X-Isle, we’ll be altering the way the Prestige system works, and it will soon be reintroduced. Instead of reaching GRAIL Loyalty 10 to access it, you must have a Player Level of 100.
Other Improvements: We’re looking at overhauling Contracts and expanding the story with more Quests.
Think something else should be on our agenda? Let us know on Discord!
WHAT’S COMING UP?
We plan to end Issue #1: Renegades on May 23, 2024, and Issue #2 will immediately follow. The next Issue is shaping up to be an amazing evolution that lays the groundwork for how HAWKED will evolve in the future, and I can’t wait to share more with you.
The Codex, initially listed in our 2024 Roadmap for Q2 2024, has been moved to Q3 2024. This is designed as a way for you to easily keep track of the story, characters, and monsters in HAWKED. In the meantime, take a look at the Guides section on our website if you’re stuck with anything.
Your feedback is so important to us. It helped us launch HAWKED from Early Access, and we’re confident you can help improve HAWKED in the future. If you’re digging HAWKED, or if we’ve squashed your major bugbears so far, drop us a review or revisit your score on Steam, the PlayStation Store, or the Microsoft Store.
If you’re experiencing issues or have ideas to improve your HAWKED experience, jump on Discord. We read everything, and your voice really can make the difference.
Welcome back to our humble Daomei Village. We’re happy to see you back after a while and today we’d like to talk about an important part of the daily activities of everyone around here. Today, we’ll talk about ☀️day & night🌑 cycle!
In our village, different opportunities and possibilities come at different times but they also impose certain rules we’d like you to follow. With that being said, let’s give you some examples! 📝
During the day, you’ll be able to complete quests and assignments, craft items, explore the areas relatively safely or focus on the agricultural aspect of the gameplay. Every evening though, you’ll be expected to come back to your hut for the night. 🛌
You’ll be able to come back by yourself after finishing your duties or get forcefully moved once you reach a certain hour outside. ⌚
In the evenings you’ll be able to find some extraordinary items you wouldn’t be able to come across during the day like different species of bugs and mushrooms. 🍄 So make sure to look out for them during your nightly escapades.
We’ve also prepared many items which could come in handy to save some time like the potions of quickness. ⚗️ You should definitely think of using them to get the most value out of every single night! 💪
Every morning you’ll receive a summary of the previous day as well as some information: current weather, crop damages etc.
That’s it for to… Oh wait… 😢 Sometimes the tax collector will also appear in the morning. Maybe not opening the door or getting yourself a bigger dog will make him skip your farm. 🤔
With this positive accent we can end today’s short devlog. Don’t forget to join our discord and if you’d like to support us, make sure to add this game to your Steam wishlist! ❤️

We have big news to share: we're planning a major update for Revival: Recolonization, along with the full release of the game. So, what will be in the big update?
Two new emissaries
We are adding two new playable emissaries, each with completely new mechanics.
Lotus is an environmentally friendly emissary that can change the climate of a hex simply by walking through it. With it, climate expansion will be much easier, and you will always fight on your territory.
Val’fest is a master of diplomacy. By spending his reputation, he can convince rival armies to join his side.
Earth Map
Fight for dominance in the surroundings of the Earth, the cradle of human civilization. We're adding the "Earth" option to our map types.
A new deadly automaton
The Army of the All-Mind has been reinforced with new, deadlier automation, which will make it a real challenge even for the most experienced emissaries.
Defeating it will not be easy, but we are sure that you will find a way.
A new event system
After much testing by our team, we found the optimal formula for generating random events. It will be dependent on the tribes that you have attracted to your side. This will be added to the full release.
Add the game to your Wishlist, join our official Discord, and keep watch for news about the new update – it won't be long now!
