Today marks a special date for me and Masterplan Tycoon. Exactly a year ago, my first independent game was released. This moment has been long-awaited - over 10 years of developing both gaming and non-gaming software led me to this point. Masterplan Tycoon gave me the opportunity to bring my ideas to life in games, and it wouldn't have happened without you - our community. I can't put into words how I feel when such a large number of people play your game. Each new perspective makes Masterplan Tycoon more multifaceted than I could have imagined - it's amazing! Thank you all so much for this!
To celebrate this milestone, we've prepared a major update. It will include many cool innovations, and now I'll tell you exactly what:
➤ New Campaign!
We're going to experience the atmosphere of the gold rush. A bit harsher conditions and a bit less sun, rum, and carefreeness. Let's try to mine some gold and survive in this tough world. The campaign will be available for existing saves.
➤ Random Generation!
Now we'll have an infinite number of maps to play through. If before you could rely on my support on classic maps, now it's every man for himself!
➤ Trains!
This is a new type of links. More complex conditions require more sophisticated solutions. Now you have another way to connect nodes, and you can show more creativity in organizing your chains. By the way, rails can be laid over resource zones, making all areas of the map more accessible. But unfortunately, they cannot intersect. Engineers messed something up, but what can you do.
➤ Efficiency!
This is a feature I wanted to see when the game was released, but a year ago, we couldn't implement it. Now nodes involved in resource extraction have an additional parameter - efficiency. Place farms and fields more skillfully so they work faster. By the way, if it seems like the game has slowed down - don't worry. We've increased the base production speed of such nodes, so everyone will find their own play style.
In addition, a huge number of various fixes have been made, and a few more bugs that I couldn't find, but for some reason, players do. I can't figure out why this happens...

Complete New UI recreation
After carefully reviewing every element of our user interface, we've conducted a comprehensive revision and implemented a range of enhancements. The result is a new, streamlined, and illuminated UI that creates a more pleasant and engaging gaming experience. This updated user interface, now radiating purity and brightness, will set the standard for the game going forward. While our focus has been on achieving a more stylish and modern design, we've also ensured that functionality remains intact and intuitive. From menus to interactive elements, every aspect has been carefully refined to ensure a seamless and enjoyable gaming experience. We believe that these changes will make it easier for our players to navigate the game and immerse themselves in its exciting world. We're excited to present this new chapter in our game's development and look forward to sharing it with our dedicated community of players.
We've implemented a Coin System called Coins, where you can earn Silver and Gold Coins by shooting enemies and being active in all matches. Silver Coins are exclusively in-game, while Gold Coins are stored in your Steam Savefile. Currently, you can use these Coins in the Match Menu and Weapon Market. Later on, you'll also be able to use Gold Coins to purchase items in the Gear Zone, more details on this will be available when this section is ready later in the year. All weapons will now cost Coins, except in the Main Base. For each match, you'll start with 400 Silver Coins. If you're killed and run out of Silver Coins, it will be replenished to 400 again. You can also use Gold Coins for the same purpose if you prefer to use them for weapons instead of Silver Coins.
The game now features a total of 19 different weapons, including new snipers, shotguns, and assault rifles available for use. Additionally, there are now 10 different Lethal weapons to choose from.

Design team locations, names, abbreviations, colors, and logos for a unique touch.
Customize player details, personalities, ratings, contracts, and profile images to shape your league's talent pool.

Export your custom league as a mod that you can use for new careers, or share it with the community.
Additional New Features
Added a "Coach Legends" screen showcasing historically successful coaches, accessible from the "History Book" screen. How does your career stack up against the other great coaching legends?
Introduced a "Player Ratings Explorer" screen for quick access to player ratings on your team. Quickly find out who your slot receiver should be, or who the best long-snapper on the team is.
Added support for putting the game into "windowed mode", accessible from the Game Settings page. Now you can easily switch between full-screen mode and windowed mode.
Integrated player images, coach images, conference logos, and league logos into the UI of several existing screens.
Revamped the user interface across multiple screens to enhance functionality, aesthetics, and consistency.
Bug Fixes
Fixed issues on the Playoffs screen and Game Log screen related to incorrect display and labeling.
Addressed inconsistencies in the header bar when viewing other teams around the league. Setting colors and logos was sometimes done incorrectly.

Resolved issues with Draft screen functionality and Free Agency period completion.

In the Save Loadout interface, the hotkey of the save button has been changed from F to Enter. Fixed the issue where some sound effects played abnormally after the player was destroyed. Increased the grenade launch count for grenade-type power-ups. Adjusted the colors of some upgrade types. Added a new upgrade type, Reflex. Merged some old upgrades into the Reflex type, which now contains 11 upgrades in total. Added 3 new upgrades: Safe Blink, Reflex Master, Auto Reflex. Enhanced effects of 1 upgrades: Extra Grenades. Modified effects of 12 upgrades: Reaction, Surprise, Thorn, Defense Mine, Smash, Energy Barrage, Defense Barrage, Recycled Mines, Energy Grenade, Defense Grenade, Counter Charge, Urgent Blast. Improved Friends List
Minigame favorites are now stored on our database, which means you'll be able to see your friends minigame faves even when they're offline! 🤩
We've also added a "Follow" button to your friends' profiles when they are online to, well, follow them. 🧐
Improved Invite Voucher Rewards
To help you recommend buying the game to friends, we've added an extra 🪙15.000 on top of the invite reward of 💎500! This will allow you and your friend to immediately do a case opening or two! 🤩

Parkour Panic is our first TRUE parkour minigame! Acid will slowly rise inside a cylindrical container, jump up on randomly generated parkour pieces to avoid dissolving in acid! 😨🤢

We didn't know this was even possible but you really managed to create something so unique. These characters are based on the style of East-Brabant/Limburg. A new Steam fan group popped up and it's organizing a Virtual Competition Parade for 2025, akin to Boemeldonck, where participants build their own floats in different categories.
