Welcome to our third Feature Preview! The focus of today's preview is showing off enhancements we have made to the game with update 1.02!
We heard you LOUD and CLEAR! One of our biggest requests since release was adding native support for manual transmission for controllers. You can now manually shift on any controller! Xbox: While holding RB, press A/B to shift. Playstation: While holding R1, press O/X to shift!
A lot of work has gone into multiplayer synchronization. We have vastly improved position tracking of other players and reduced de-sync causing other players to freeze. Additionally players moving at high speeds will now move more fluently on the road!
Heavy trailers now have a Kingpin for connection. Not only does this add to the visual realism, this also helps to assist bugs with trailer connections!
Finally, the vehicle recovery system has also received enhancements! When a re-spawn point is invalid, it will skip it and try to locate another point to re-spawn, you no longer will re-spawning on the same point!
Update 1.02 is in full active development and will arrive with the release of DLC Pack 1. You can find the work-in-progress patch notes for update 1.02 here: Trello Roadmap - 1.02 Changelog
The next Feature Preview is still TBD, but we plan to showcase some brand new enhancements to the camera system, new car paint, and brake pad simulation.

Stay tuned, and see you on the road! Michael | Community Manager
Made a general change to the enemy AI that should prevent them from “spamming” attacks if you stun them briefly (from a dash for example) but haven’t hit them yet. Bosses should still be able to escape combos if stun-locked too much or if the combo drops but cases in which it feels like you didn’t get a chance to start a combo going will be minimized. This affects all enemies in the game but should be most noticeable during the later boss fights, and will allow you to be more active when engaging with the different bosses without getting hit in the face immediately.
Pursuer Guardian: Note that the Pursuer Guardian (even before this patch) always drops the equivalent of 1 Essence Reward when defeated. Because this is enemy Essence, it is affected by your Essence Multiplier, so you can potentially get double the Essence you get from a single Essence reward or more. Additionally, defeating the Pursuer Guardian now also rewards 1 of each Sanctum Resource (Dormant Ember, Esoteric Scroll, Combat Rune). More balance changes can be found for this enemy in the next section.
You can now do an “unboosted” wavedash from the get-go without having to unlock the skill. The Wavedash skill will make the Wavedashes reduce the Dash cooldown like before, allowing you to perform them more often.
Implemented a change that prevents things like Dash damage or knockback-less projectiles (such as electricity from Voltaic Shards) from stopping an enemy’s knockback. While sometimes cool, this caused enemies to receive weird knockback or get spiked after you launched them in a different direction.
General Balance Changes
High Priestess: Health reduced from 15,500 to 14,000. Perennial Tactics variant of the boss Health reduced from 19,500 to 17,500 (phase 2 reduced from 18,500 to 15,500). The recent changes to the enemy AI together with the HP nerf should improve the experience of this fight, but we are still working on more possible changes we want to add to it. Damage from knocking the high priestess into the blast zone increased from 500 to 1,000.
Pursuer Guardian: Dust dropped increased from 50 to 125. Health scaling reduced across the different regions. Adjusted attack pick-rate
Heretic Warlock (Perennial Tactics): Reduced the amount of projectiles in the corrupted rain attack back to the same amount that exists without the Perennial Tactics effect, the vertical pillar explosion that was added to the attack remains.
Defeating the Pursuer Guardian also rewards one of each Sanctum Resouce (Dorman Ember, Combat Rune, Esoteric Scroll).
Pursuer Guardian: Big Beam Attack damage reduced from 50 to 45.
Holy Dice in Celestial Exchange shop cost reduced from 100 to 75.
Weapon Changes
Sisterhood Gauntlets (Alternate Form): You can now change your throw direction after grabbing an enemy by changing your move input quickly after grabbing enemies. The second part of the launcher (throwing after grabbing) damage increased from 25 to 30. Knockback scaling on uncharged Side Launcher slightly reduced.
Awakening Weapons: Combat Rune cost reduced from 3 to 2 .
Unlocking Weapon Alternate Forms: Combat Rune cost reduced from 4 to 3.
Blessings / Skills Balance Changes
You can now Dash-Cancel out of the active frames of Moonscar, Flaming Leap, and Twister.
Bubble Shield: Damage increased from 80/100/120 to 100/120/140.
Flaming Leap: Damage increased from 80/100/120 to 100/125/150.
Frozen Flame: Dormant Embers cost reduced from 3 to 1.
Air Superiority: Dormant Embers cost reduced from 2 to 1.
Overgrown Canopy: Dorman Embers cost reduced from 2 to 1.
Consecrated Shuffle now gives 2 dice at the start of runs instead of 1.

Hi there! Betetiro here. I want to thank everyone for the support I've received and for the valuable feedback on my game. There are still some unresolved issues that are taking more time to test and implement, so I'll be back with updates on those unresolved matters soon.
So, what are the changes?
- The secret ending has been removed, and the script has been slightly modified. I received a lot of feedback concerning the secret ending and the game in general. I realize that I've made mistakes. After speaking with individuals who have experienced the mental health issues discussed in the game, I've revised the script to be more sensitive and accurate. I apologize for the initial decision to include that content, and without your feedback, I wouldn't have realized the impact. I am grateful that you guided me to the right decision.
- Bugs in the Ukrainian version: there were issues with taking screenshots, and problems with the automatic self-voicing in the history section.
- Minor errors in both Ukrainian and English translations.
There's still a long road ahead, and I'm grateful for the feedback you've provided. The major issues I am now aware of include:
- Voicing problems (volume, line cut-offs) - Typos that need correction to improve the text - Issues with the music looping - Lastly, I would like to implement some features suggested by the community. I hope to announce these soon.
Thank you again for your support, and I truly hope you have a wonderful day!
In the early days of spring, as the sun peeks over the hills and rivers take on a verdant hue, the notorious Snakeheads emerge, causing chaos and scattering fish in their wake. But fear not, brave Angler, for you alone hold the power to restore peace to the Fishing Planet world, much like St.Patrick banished serpents from Ireland.
Today marks the start of one of the most anticipated events of the year and first things first - you need a cool outfit for the Syt. Patrick’s Day party! Our new anglers have the chance to embark on missions and earn our all time favorite Leprechaun Frock Coat, Paddy's Top Hat and the Green Shamrock Glasses with the shiny St. Patrick's Song motorboat.
Meanwhile, seasoned anglers who already earned all of those items in the previous years, eagerly await the opportunity to amass hundreds of Baitcoins by reeling in event fish from the St. Patrick green waters. With the ocean map nearing its final stages, it's a wise move to keep earning those Baitcoins for what lies ahead in the nearest future.
In search of the Lucky Horseshoe: Rainbow Chase
Harness the power of ancient craftsmanship with the Gold Horseshoe Stringer to rid the waters of those pesky Snakeheads! Venture to any pond where festive boat races are held—Emerald, Tiber, Saint-Croix, San Joaquin, Sander Baggersee, or Blue Crab Island—emerge victorious, and collect parts of the Gold Horseshoe Stringer. Also, obtain Clover Coins to pay Leprechauns for Stringer repair.
The Magic Cauldrons
Follow the rainbow to uncover the elusive Silver and Golden pots—they can manifest anywhere! These enchanted cauldrons bestow event baits for catching event fish, as well as credits, Clover Coins, or Baitcoins.
The Lucky Horseshoes
Venture into the surroundings to uncover Lucky Horseshoes and unlock a trove of special items! From event baits to extraordinary treasures like the Lucky Charm Catapult, Leprechaun's Chest, Triskele Rod Stand, Kayak Irish Rover, and even the illustrious St. Patrick's Song Motor Boat. May the luck of the Irish shamrock be with you!
What's more, most of the Pots and Lucky Horseshoes are accessible to all, including those who completed all the event missions in previous years. Keep your eyes peeled for these magical treasures and reap the rewards!
Let’s get down to our event fish
Event lures are your ticket to attracting those Sneakerheads in no time! But remember, for a secure capture of every last one, make sure to equip the Gold Horseshoe Stringer.
You get 1 Clover Coin for completing the Leprechaun's Favor missions, but even if you did complete all of them, you can still enjoy the thrill of catching event fish and earning a shiny golden Baitcoin for each one!
Enhance your luck by using event baits, the delicious Drunken Worm, Bully Grasshopper and Pickled Januari Palm Fruit, which greatly increase your chances of catching Rowdy Bass, Leprechaun Fish, and Buzzman Tambaqui.
You've got until March 18th at 10:00 UTC to complete all the event missions, giving you a total of 11 days to conquer them all!
If you're looking to boost your chances of success this year, consider enlisting some extra help with our St. Patrick’s pack.
It includes event rods, reels, and event baits to aid you on your mission together with two pond passes and licenses.
For even more assistance, check out our Green Fortune Pack.
Not only does it feature all the event lures and equipment you'll need, but it also comes with a generous supply of 777 Clover Coins, 7 pond passes and licenses for event locations, the Golden Horseshoe Stringer to immediately combat those pesky Snakeheads, and the unique Shamrock Headlamp to uncover additional Leprechaun pots brimming with gold.
In the spirit of St. Patrick's Day, let the adventures begin!
Whether you're aiming to complete all the event missions or simply seeking some angling excitement, there's something for everyone to enjoy. Gather your gear, embrace the luck of the Irish, and let's make some unforgettable memories on the Fishing Plane!

Did you check out the Monster Mop Up Steam Page redesign? New Key art, gifs and an improved rundown of the main gameplay pillars! Awesome stuff really! Besides the excitement for the renovation, let me share the story of how my personal favorite tool of the game was created!
The Gatherer syndrome
So there is a multitude of ways to gather, transport and dispose of poop, with the gloves and box being the most useful. With the growing roster of poops [which you can find in this Blog post] we wanted the definitive answer to any brownish obstacle, as Monster Mop Up is designed to be a cozy and satisfying experience.
And so, for its first public debut. Please give a warm welcome to…
The Hoover
The hoover sucks all poops in range (left mouse click) storing them in the sack, and unless you are careful, it barfs all the contents to whatever unlucky furniture or Ragamuffin you 're aiming its nozzle at.
Basically a cake walk, if you keep an eye on the visual indicator or an ear out for the warning sound announcing the upcoming mayhem. Items are sucked into the hoover as well, so smaller items fill your hoover’s sack too! After an unfortunate value change, the hoover started throwing items and poop around at the speed of sound! The result was so rewarding, we HAD to change everything! We added the right mouse button as a launch button! In the coming 2 days we spent a fair amount of time throwing poop around with some very impressive trick shots that no one had the foresight of recording for us to share. But we couldn’t stop there, the right mouse button can push anything in front of the hoover, even when empty, so you can do some interesting stuff with it (Albeit a small distance, because someone hurdled a Ragamuffin to the moon, which while impressive, felt kind of bad for our furry friend). First time you see a hoover is near the closet, on top of the table when you start a new game. It's a broken one, pierced through the sack by a screwdriver- RIP. You will find the *actually* usable hoover in the *mumbles under his breath*, after which you can use it freely and upgrade it as well! We can’t wait for you to try it out! Lets us know down in the comments what are your thoughts on the hoover, the new key art, or both!
