We're proud to show you the very first trailer for Lord Ambermaze, a turn-based RPG adventure with elements of dungeon crawling. This atmospheric game harkens back to classics, like The Legend of Zelda while combining dynamic battles, dangerous traps, challenges, and puzzles.
Help Zane escape the mysterious labyrinth and save the world and his sister, who has been kidnapped by a dark villain.
Lord Ambermaze is:
Complex tactical battles that can't be won without a well-thought-out plan of action;
Five different biomes and bosses;
More than thirty enemies with their own abilities and attacks;
A wide variety of locations with hiding places and challenges;
Different ways of fighting, from close combat to long-range attacks, and even pushing enemies into the abyss below;
A character upgrade system with various abilities to fit your playstyle;
An interactive environment with advantages and disadvantages;
A compelling story about siblings, evil, and the fate of the world.

We'd like to thank all of you again for playing our demo; as mentioned in our last post, the feedback that you gave us was very helpful, and we've been hard at work putting it to good use and making changes!
In addition, some of you have been asking whether there would be any further playtests and when they might be happening... and we're excited to let you know that the answer is very soon—right now, in fact! If you're interested in taking a look and helping us gather some more feedback, press that big green "Request Access" button over on our store page to get started!
Once you're all set up and ready for adventure, make sure you're selecting the "Escape the Mad Empire Playtest" entry in your Steam Library—if our demo is still in your library, you'll have two copies of the game listed!
How long is the playtest running for? We don't have a specific length in mind right now, but we are expecting this one to last for at least a couple weeks. We are also planning to host additional playtest periods, so if you can’t participate this time around, don’t fret!
Where should we post feedback? You can post on our community Discord or here on Steam's discussion forums as suits your preference—we'll see it regardless!
Is there anything specific that you're looking for feedback on for this playtest? We've made some changes to the game's difficulty curve and the length and pacing of the tutorial, and of course continued feedback on the game's UI and general quality-of-life matters is always welcome! There have been some other changes as well, so anything goes—we're hoping to hear that your experience has improved!
I wasn’t finished with the demo yet—will I have to start over with this build? No! If you still have save data from playing the demo, you’ll be able to pick up right where you left off. That said, you should start a fresh game at some point to make sure you see some of the changes that were made to the earliest parts of the game!
We hope to hear back from you all! Get to adventuring!

Incorporate these new, digital-only cards into your drafts and constructed play on MTG Arena.
Alchemy: Karlov Manor is a 30-card set with cards legal in Alchemy, Historic, Timeless, and Brawl formats! Like past Alchemy sets, we will be hosting an Alchemy Premier Draft March 5–12.
Cards in this release will incorporate a new mechanic that's fitting for the set: incorporate! A card that incorporates adds an additional mandatory mana cost to another card, and that second card gains additional attributes/text. Incorporate perpetually adds an additional casting cost to that card, adding any new colors from that cost, and adds abilities/text to that card for the rest of the game.
You know what? It might be easier to just show some of the evidence directly:
Fragment Reality has created an unfun early game combo with multiple Leyline cards that works even when taking a mulligan to four or three cards. This has resulted in a powerful and consistent deck that is taking up too much space in Historic and Timeless metagames.
Geological Appraiser has proven it's a bit too aggressive for our current Alchemy and Historic formats. By slowing down this card, discover-based decks will be better balanced across the formats.
MAGIC: THE GATHERING® – FALLOUT® COSMETICS
Magic: The Gathering® – Fallout® cosmetics are available starting March 5th in the MTG Arena Store. Get the Bobblehead Sleeve Bundle, Full-Art Lands Bundle, and the cutest companion—Dogmeat!
One way to prepare your Standard deck is by checking out Frank Karsten's latest Metagame Mentor article that dives into the Standard metagame from the $75K Standard Open and the Standard Cup events held during the recent MagicCon: Chicago.
Then, once you've assembled your Standard deck, put it through its paces on MTG Arena for some fine tuning before heading out to your local WPN game store for the Murders at Karlov Manor Store Championship event! While supplies last, everyone who participates gets a Mortify promo card. Make it to the Top 8, and you can get an Angel of Despair. Take the top winner spot, and a textless Dauthi Voidwalker is the prize!

The Ditty of Carmeana has a new feature! For the next half-hour of time spent playing The Ditty of Carmeana, you'll be rewarded with a series of annoying notifications that you'll incorrectly think are messages from friends, followups to your posts, or new games becoming available, and you'll get all happy thinking something cool has happened, then you'll realize it definitely hasn't. And there's no way to turn it off! You just have to wait it out till they stop.
That's right, the Ditty of Carmeana now has Trading Cards. Surreptitiously delivered to you whether you want them or not.
But hey, once you've waited it out, that's fifteen whole cents to put toward your purchase of Naked Mole Rat Simulator!
Or, if you're one of them, you can buy and trade cards and create badges or whatever.
Of course, if you don't already own the Ditty of Carmeana, you'll need to buy the game to get the cards HINT, and since it's on sale (or soon will be), now would be a great time.
NEW BUILD
While I'm making an announcement, I might as well mention the I recently put up a new build (1967) so you might see an update. It's mostly typo corrections, but I did add one bit of voice acting that I hadn't added when I released.
