Hello Hunters!

We have a new update for you with improvements to the lighting, added soft shadows, improved fog and other environment changes! We heard your feedback about the game being too dark and grey so this update should significantly improve that. We also adjusted the sizes of male/female wild boars to better fit their real life sizes and they are now easier to tell apart by size.

This update also includes more improvements, optimizations, fixes and much more!

  • Adjusted wild boar sizes to better reflect differences between male and female and their weight


  • Removed auto exposure for more consistent lighting
  • Adjusted inventory lock-buttons’ activation angle to prevent accidentally using it (Player must look steeper down until the button can be pressed)
  • Adjusted colliders of fallen trees
  • Changed shelter unlock notification text from "opened" to "unlocked"
  • Adjusted post-processing
  • Adjusted duration of rain and stormy weathers
  • Rain sound will fade out faster


  • Fixed an issue where unlocked shelters didn’t correctly reset on quick hunt map when changing a save in the main menu
  • Fixed an issue where cross and silver fur variants were missing in Trophy manager filters
  • Fixed an issue where silver and cross red fox variants used normal fur when placed on mounts in Trophy lodge
  • Fixed an issue where shadows casted by distant mountains disappeared when looking away from mountains
  • Fixed an issue where animals could go through large rocks and cliffs in certain areas
  • Fixed an issue where correct weather settings didn’t load properly when player traveled to the reserve
  • Fixed an issue where correct weather settings didn’t load properly after changing time in the reserve
  • Fixed an issue where changing time in reserve causes short lag spike
  • Fixed an issue where wooden target button removed the target in shooting range
  • Fixed an issue where a scope placed on .303 British wasn’t correctly centered on the gun when using left hand as a primary hand
  • Fixed an issue where deer species’ run animation speed was too slow
  • Fixed an issue where deers’ hurt walk animation didn’t loop
  • Fixed an issue where red deers’ rare fur trophy images didn’t show in the harvest screen

Inspired by the events of last years Daytona Horse unlock and the memes that follow Daytona we wanted to add this to the game as it was a simple addition. Meanwhile a new skin for Detour is coming for this next update!

certain army of Camera themed chicks are going to help capture each race and anytime someone pulls over for a quick bonk. Design was originally by Proceleon we loved her so much and wanted to add her as a celebration to you the fans.

Cammi the Cam Girl will zip zoom onto the track once you unlock her. There is a lot of these girls around the tracks now. So spotting them will be fun as they are placed to capture all the action.

Look at her being so lazy lmao.

Also here is a preview of our next racer. Coming this month....who could it be?!?! Damn she got some legs tho! Stay tuned because in the next few weeks you will know who....

Anamnesia - part 1: am i my body? - TomatenToaster
Fixed a bunch of typos throughout the script that players have told me about. Since English isn't my first language, I'm blaming all of those on the proofreaders! :^)

Aside from that I added two new buttons to the config menu. One allows you to activate a very limited backroll to read narration that you might have accidentally skipped. That totally goes against my artistic-vision(tm), aka being as annoying as possible about games as an art form, but I'd rather have people use that than complain about it.

The other new button allows you to reset persistent progress, in this case which text you have already read (important for skipping on subsequent playthroughs) and which endings you have seen. This might especially be necessary if you first started the game right after release (before the update on the 23rd), since a bug caused all text to be marked as read right away. Well, only matters if you plan to replay the game, but still: sorry for that.

If anyone is actually reading this: I really hope you're enjoying part 1! I'm still kind of blown away by how positive the reception has been so far, so thanks a lot for all your kind words!

I do hear the (two most common pieces of) criticism though: the search function IS pretty useless at the moment, I agree. I do hope to put out an update for that eventually, but it's kind of out of my hands since my coding skills are barely existent.
Also I do agree that I could've done more when it comes to interaction through the log. There's already more to it than you might be aware of (yes, there are a couple of small branches and two slightly different endings), but if possible I'd like to put out an additional content update sometime before part 2 releases, to add some of the ideas I still had in mind while writing. I'm very much focusing on part 2 for now though, so that's still a long way off and no promises! :')

H-Hey Master, below is the list of the repairs we accomplished in the dungeon:

  1. Unique characters are no longer automatically unlocked in the sandbox with the "Unlock All" option.
  2. The Fire Grimoire can now be purchased at the market in the sandbox.
  3. Fixed crashes.
  4. Fixed minions getting stuck in walls, in front of stairs and at the end of the bridge.
  5. Fixed corrupted saves since 1.5 hotfix.
  6. Fixed the bug where you could earn money by deleting items from the construction menu.
  7. Fixed the construction of rooms on floor 6 (in the outer towers), which never ended.
  8. Fixed wine barrels that attracted barbarians when they shouldn't.
  9. Fixed several issues related to the build menu and modifying several identical rooms at the same time.
Known issues
  • The Zangdar and Reivax rooms can remain under construction if the rooms are moved to higher floors.
