I am nearly done with the Duo scene in the gym, and had trouble focusing on the screen coding. So, I decided to do something to give my mind a break. For awhile, I have been considering updating the main menu a little bit. The above image is a draft and subject to change. ;)
In this update we have added support for saving on the levels. Now progress is not lost when you exit to the main menu, and you will be able to continue where you left off. Both the number of found cats and their colors are saved. If you want to replay the level - now there is a button to restart it on the level itself. When restarting and re-entering a level, the hint recharge is activated again.
Let's be honest, we didn't initially conceive this functionality and didn't see the point in it, as the game is played in a few minutes. In addition, it would have taken away the possibility of replayability, which is relevant for the different colors that could be used. But, seeing some feedback from players, we realize that it is important for people to save progress on levels, so we are adding such functionality now.
-Achievements added for each level's time trial. This also assures that the saving of time trials will work, as it is tied back to data on Steam. -TNT detonation fix (previous hotfix prevented player from mining TNT at all, oops!).
This update has been released unexpectedly to fix previous errors that were causing issues with mining in an underground area. This includes an additional update that was scheduled for next week, in which the switches of many doors have been changed and their operation to improve performance a bit more.
Some doors in caves and in the swamp will be closed again. I have ensured that none of these blocks the player's progress or leaves them in an infinite loop when loading the game, but if you find any error that prevents you from progressing, please let me know.
