I hope you've all had a good few days. For me, it's been filled with anxiety and excitement with the release of the game.
But I'm thrilled to announce that The DeLuca Family has just sold 2000 copies! I'm extremely thankful and happy that we've reached this milestone, and it makes me excited to work on season 2 already!
The game is a bit different with its heavy focus on story compared to the usual adult game, and less focus on quick adult scenes. So, I'm really happy that so many have enjoyed the game!
Also, thank you to the people who have taken the time to review the game. Both recommended and non-recommended reviews have been very informative, and I've learned many things from them.
1. Text-based adventure and money gathering are big factors for some people who have not recommended the game. I have created three modes to avoid that situation, but upon reflection, the wording of the modes is not optimal. 'Full experience' can give the feeling of missing out on content. Instead, I need to provide a short introduction to the modes before selection, which showcases that all events are available in all the modes, but it's just a matter of play style preference.
2. Due to the focus on story, there has been some disapproval from people who wish for more adult scenes. I can say that season 1 was mostly an introduction and building up to the girls and the world itself. Season 2 will feature a lot more adult scenes. However, the story will always take precedence. That is my passion for the game.
I'm looking forward to more reviews coming out! If you haven't done so yet, I would really appreciate it!
Finally, it seems Luna's backstory is what people really enjoyed, so what better way to celebrate than with a happy family reunion image!
optimization: 1.Added an exit button to the login screen Bug fixes: 1. Fixed the issue that you can't enter the room with the password in some cases. 2. Temporarily solved the problem that the room list could not be pulled.
- Global optimisation to increase fps - Added Nvidia DLSS - Reworked some areas - better collisions on 3D objects - Camera is now smoother - Character response smoother and less chunky - Increased jump velocity, therefore gravity increased, jumps feel more dynamic - Sounds adjustements
First of all we here at Resident Egg Studios would love to extend a big thank you to everyone who has played our game so far! We are hugely grateful for all the support we have received and it means a lot to us.
Here are some small (and one not so small) tweaks in the latest version:
Fixed bug that would cause a slime to become 'invisible' to your towers, almost always causing an un-fair game over.
Gregg found his way back onto the main menu.
Changed Crossbow fire sound.
Fixed a bug that caused and arrow to appear underneath the town hall when it wasn't supposed to.
Fixed visual glitch with certain towers changing sprites when hovered over.
