Content Update:
Final Sprint
● The current season is about to end, complete tasks to receive rewards.
● After each season ends, based on your progress/Power/Codex Level/etc, you will receive Season Coins.
● You can exchange Season Coins for Shillings, Nerva, Codex materials, mod upgrade materials, and more in the Exchange Center.
● For specific season settlement rules, please pay attention to the subsequent official announcements.

Problem Fixes:
1. Fixed an issue with the Dark Tide Bundle where backpack stickers were mistakenly configured as weapon stickers and could not be claimed.
2. Fixed some locations in certain maps where players or Nanos could get stuck, or where you could jump out of the map using the Nano Leap.
3.Fixed an issue where the damage from stepping on a fire-controlled Nano Companion would not disappear even after the fire animation would end causing continued loss of health.

It is Wednesday, my frudes!

Is it a plane? Is it a butterfly? No, it's Super Frog!
If you catch the super frog power-up you will reveal your true identity (or maybe it is just a daydream) as a super hero. For a short while you will be invincible, very quick and very strong!

The power-ups can now also provide you with the option to level up all bugs around you, giving you a greater challenge and more XP.
Or, if you feel like chilling, you can pick up the level down power-up instead, to make all the bugs easier to eat.

New:
  • Super frog power-up
  • Up power-up
  • Down power-up

Also, it is always a good idea to back up your save file before starting the game after an update. If you want instructions for where to find the save file you can read the details below.

Hello everyone!

I wanted to give you a status update on our upcoming new patch to our demo. The original plan was to do it in multiple smaller patches, but feature creep had other ideas! Some big changes are coming that just simply couldn't be implemented in smaller increments. We still need some time to deliver the patch itself, but I didn't want to leave you all in the dark so read on if you are interested in the upcoming major changes!

Reworked resistance members

Every resistance unit will have a background trait that describes what they did previously. This affects their starting statistics, possible additional traits they could have, and their hiring cost. In addition, the possible backgrounds change depending on which region the unit is from.



The eager-eyed could notice that the portraits have been completely reworked as well. Now with a quick glance at the portrait, you will know which region the unit is from. Updated the name generators as well with more names so that they can generate more unique names.

New core combat mechanic, pushing and cornered

I always had the back of my mind that flanking in itself to increase your hitchance is not enough as that is relatively hard to do consistently. Plus it always felt a bit unrealistic that standing right next to a wall is the best defensive position as in that case, the unit is physically impossible to be flanked. Then came the idea of the cornered mechanic.



Now, units will count as cornered when they can't move backward from the attack direction and suffer a 20 defense penalty. In addition, every melee attack that hits will push the target back 1 tile while the attacker takes their place if possible. These changes make positioning a lot more interesting even in situations where flanking is unfeasable.

Advanced skills rework

Weapon attributes have been removed. Instead, every weapon will have their own advanced skill that comes with it. This gave me the possibility to differentiate weapons more besides damage, especially the one and two-handed variants of the same weapon. For example, that wide slash attack on the previous gif will be only available to units using two-handed swords!

The other 3 skill attributes (Aggression, Teamwork, and Trickery) have been heavily reworked into 6 classes (Ranger, Assassin, Protector, Strategist, Barbarian, Warrior). This means that every region now has a unique class. In addition, because the weapon does not take up one of the 2 available skill school(the new name for attributes) slots of a character, it opens up the builds space.

New eastern region

We have finished the eastern region combat map as well, so this last region opens up! The region itself is research-focused and will provide the resistance access to the strategist skill school!





Closing thoughts

And that's it for today's devlog! One important point is that because of the extent of the changes on the skills system, the new patch will not be compatible with previous saves. In addition, the patch will include a lot of other smaller balance and bug fixes as well, plus something else that I do not want to spoil just yet!

👋 Hello everyone! I hope all is well. I've been super busy trying to knock out this update, but it's finally finished! 🎉 Let me walk you through the exciting new features and improvements I've added to the game.

🎮 Added full controller support for Microsoft/Playstation.
💥 Added destructible meshes to all boxes/barrels/etc.
🤖 Made slight adjustments to the enemy AI.
Currently working on a complete AI overhaul, so please stay tuned!

⚔️ Added a death penalty. Players will now lose a percentage of Acurine Dust when killed.
🛠️ Fixed a bug where switching attack styles would be delayed.
🛠️ Fixed a bug causing a delay when interacting with items/chests.
🛠️ Fixed a bug causing a delay when trying to shoot an arrow immediately after ceasing to walk/run.
🧩 Added a new puzzle mechanic + New item.
🔥 Introducing torches! Yep! Torches :D Use these to solve puzzles. Previously, you would light your arrows, but since the Acurine Ice Shard gives you ice arrows, it didn't make sense to require the player to constantly unequip the ice shard to use the braziers! 🕯️🔥

Controller support took a little longer than expected, but I'm thrilled to announce that it's finally finished! 🎮 I can't wait for you all to try it out and provide your feedback. 😊 While I'm still hard at work on the next update with some cool new stuff, I couldn't contain my excitement about getting controller support into the demo. That's why I've decided to roll out this update in two parts! Stay tuned for part two, coming soon! 🚀🎉

The Weekend Campaign is Over
Historically with the Battle of Verdun the Germans hoped to inflict heavy casualties on the French by taking vital ground and then smashing their counter-attacks. This plan failed, with both sides suffering enormous losses over the course of one of the longest battles in history.

In our games, so far the Entente always win the campaigns, so we challenged the community to see if they could give the Central Powers an ahistorical victory, with the potential prize a teaser about the upcoming new Isonzo game mode. The result…

Entente Victory! Again.
It’s not so easy to change the course of history. But, if you look at the numbers below you’ll notice the Central Powers only lost around 7000 more troops during the campaign. In previous campaigns the difference would usually be closer to 40-50,000 more Central Powers casualties.

It’s still a good performance, and while you couldn’t quite beat our challenge we’ve still decided to share a very mini-teaser with you:

A small update is now rolling out to CorpoNation: The Sorting Process to resolve a number of issues as reported by our valued employees.

- Improved instances of some people experiencing save crashes
- Fixed an issue where you could only gift items in Catalog after Managers day (Please continue to support the economy!)
- Fixed an issue when buying Radio not unlocking the Radio button
- Fixed an issue where the Fixer would freeze in-game
- Improved Fixer's sample detection
- Improved assembly of the Nexus device base panels (You may notice pieces arranged differently, this is intended!)
- Fixed Challenges not resetting in Solitaire
- Fixed backgrounds/opponents not appearing in Ultimate Ringo Fighters
- Minor translation and localisation fixes
