The 'Six Years in Orbit' Anniversary Celebration is now live in Deep Rock Galactic!
You can get the full details in the preview post – but at a glance, here’s what’s up:
The brand new MK6 Armor Set is available for a limited time only! Complete the 'MK6 Armor Experimental Trials' assignment to unlock it.
Snag the delightfully inflatable Year Six Party Hat through the Anniversary Bonus assignment.
We’ve added a countdown monitor near the Assignment Board, to help keep track of when seasonal events end.
A juicy Double Performance Pass Bonus is available for any dwarf who deposits a Year Six Anniversary Trophy during a mission.
Free beers at the Abyss Bar! You should still tip Lloyd, though.
The Space Rig is looking very fancy.
The celebrations run until March 14th at 13:00 CET.
ALSO – tomorrow, Ghost Ship Games is going live for our anniversary developer stream!
We’re doing something a little different this year. Instead of the usual setup, we’re putting more emphasis on the community. We’re bringing in some of the biggest Deep Rock Galactic content creators to our office in Copenhagen, where they’ll join us for the live broadcast. You can expect to hear from sniss, LazyMaybe, Explorian (fka DRG Historian), and a few other special guests. The chat’s open for your questions, too!
Plus, we’ll be revealing the updated roadmap for Deep Rock Galactic, with fresh new details on what’s coming in Season 5.
The anniversary stream kicks off tomorrow (Thursday, February 29th) at 13:00 CET, and you can tune in from Twitch and YouTube. We’ll have a recording available after, in case you can't catch it live.
Hope you can join us! With love, -The Ghost Ship Crew
We are very excited to launch TimeMelters version 1.0 today! It's been an incredible journey for us so far. As a team of 3, we've been working on TimeMelters for over 6 years. TimeMelters has gone through a lot of iterations in that time, long before it was in anyone's hand. We grinded out our very first Kickstarter, successfully funding it with 48 hours to go. This initial success was just the beginning; TimeMelters was lucky enough to win some awards along the way, including 5 gold awards at NYX for categories such as Best Storytelling and Best Strategy Game, as well as the Technological Innovation and Public Choice awards at MIGS, and ultimately, being crowned the grand winner of the Ubisoft Indie Contest. We still can't believe how lucky we were to win all of these awards!
Then, we had our first experiences with an Early Access title, which allowed us to engage directly with the community. The feedback we received during this period was instrumental in shaping the game and making it the best it could be. You have no idea how much the feedback we received helped us make a better game. Interacting with the community, expanding and improving TimeMelters with the help of everyone’s feedback, has been a cornerstone of our development process. The entire journey has been invaluable, and everything we’ve learned along the way makes our future projects that much better.
So thank you all for helping us get here!
Just because TimeMelters is officially out now doesn't mean we are done! We will still be listening to your comments and provide more updates and fixes as time goes on! Not to mention the console release is going to creep up on us very quickly, so stay tuned for more.

1. Fixed the issue when the mouse position exceeded the map boundaries during deployment. 2. Fixed the issue where "Armed Fixer" mistakenly identified itself as a repair target. 3. Fixed the issue where some units were covered by the map. 4. Fixed the issue of spatial audio location. 5. Improved resource efficiency during unit pathfinding. 6. Made some adjustments to the game visuals.
With this option selected the game plays as before. When placing words to find, they could be placed over one another, e.g. if it were placing the words ONE and TWO, the same "O" could be used for each words placement. You could also use the same letters to find different words, e.g. if you wanted to find ONE and SOMEONE you could find SOMEONE, then use the ONE from that word to find ONE.
With this option unselected, two things happen. Firstly words are placed apart from one another. When placing words all the letters are added as their own unique cell/tile. Secondly, when selecting where words are, if you select a letter that has been used to find another word then that word will be removed from your list of found words and you will need to find it again elsewhere (or in the same place in which case the same thing will happen to the word you just found). As the game progresses you can see less areas where you haven't found words, and therefore less space where you need to look for words. Unless you go wrong and use a word like ONE from a word like SOMEONE, this makes the board easier to complete.
Other changes
Added "Extra saves" option to the setup screen. Previously this was a hidden option that could be added to the setup file manually. When enabled, every time you find a word the save/continue file is updated, therefore saving you from (most) power losses and other types of crashes. When not enabled the save is done when you select to exit the board you are playing on.
(Under normal circumstances there is no need to enable "Extra saves".)
After 3 years at Steam, Absolutely Goode Championship is leaving. Thank you all that bought and tryed the game. It was really fun to develop it during the Covid pandemy and although it did not perform economically as desired, I'm glad if it entertained you. Be well.
We are thrilled to announce that the quality of Russian text in the game has seen a significant improvement. We encourage all players to upgrade to the latest version to experience this enhancement. We would like to express our sincere gratitude to QuestLion for their tremendous support. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!
We have received some negative feedback regarding the poor quality of Russian text after release, and we apologize for not providing a satisfactory gaming experience for our Russian-speaking players, mostly due to time constraints. However, we hope and believe that the story in this fixed version will not disappoint you.
Feel free to leave comments in the Steam Community, and we will continue to listen to your feedback. To help everyone better immerse themselves in those summer days in Shanghai from 20 years ago, and make up for "regrets", whatever they are.
