The new region Monaterra has been added, introducing the Nine-Heart Castle, Hunter’s Trap and Torta Arena dungeons.

* You can enter Monaterra by playing through the ‘Enter Monaterra’ epic quest.

▣ New Mod System

New Item: Harconium Reactor

Added Harconium Reactors, which are based on the machines in Monaterra.

Harconium Reactors are used to mod equipment items. You can obtain these reactors either in Monaterra dungeons or by collecting Harconium Steel, which can be converted into reactors by Basilli in Magmelia village.

* Harconium Steel can be obtained by dismantling Harconium Reactors.* You can obtain a Harconium Reactor in the dungeons Nine-Heart Castle, Hunter’s Trap and Torta Arena.

 

Modding Equipment

This system allows you to make Tenebrous armour even stronger by giving a piece of equipment the additional effect of the Harconium Reactor.

If you equip 4 items of Tenebrous gear with the additional effect, the mod will be activated.

* The additional effects on the 4 Tenebrous items need not be identical.

★ Additional Convenience Improvements

1. Characters participating in Guild Expeditions can now leave or be kicked from the guild.

Uncollected Guild Expedition rewards are sent by post if you leave or are kicked from a guild.

2. The Wonder Drug of Adaptability’s buff duration has been increased to 30 minutes.

3. The Giant Skull and Dwarven Secret Potion debuff effect has been removed in dungeons/field.

4. Demon World Aura and consumables crafted with it are now tradeable.

5. New information has been added to the effect and duration of consumables and wonder drugs for a better overview.

★ (Pet) Inventory Interface Improvements

- The Inventory and Pet Inventory menus have been adapted to the new interface design.

* The size of the new menu can be changed by clicking and dragging at the bottom-right.

* You can reset the menu position and size by clicking the mouse wheel in the menu.

 

1. Clicking on the hourglass icon at the bottom of the inventory allows you to see temporary items.

2. You can now drag items into a slot of your choice, irrespective of the inventory sorting.

3. You can now search for items in your inventory.

- Searching brings up a list of items. Clicking on an item in the list opens the inventory page where the item is located and highlights the item slot.

- You cannot search for equipped items or items in your account bank or pet inventory.

4. The equipment and avatar inventories have been expanded (excluding EL House).

5. You can now open multiple stackable items at once (Glacia ores, Tasma Aura Blobs etc.)

6. You can now open multiple stackable selection cubes at once (Old-Fashioned Seed Selections, Mysterious Wonder Drug Boxes etc.)

7. You can now use all pets’ inventories even if you don’t have any pets summoned.

- Pets are listed in the pet inventory list, even if they are part of an expedition force or placed in the EL House.

- Pet inventories cannot be used when using features which interact with the inventory.

8. The mouse cursor symbol when using the inventory has been adapted to the new interface design.

★ Other Interface Improvements

1. The windows for receiving and opening titles have been adapted to the new interface design.

2. The Ice Sculpture Heater window has been adapted to the new interface design.

3. The ‘Find Group’ window has been adapted to the new interface design.

4. The group leader can now also open the ‘Find Group’ window.

5. The ‘Find Group’ window now displays the characters’ resonance grades in the group information and when searching for groups.

6. If you open the ‘Start dungeon’ window after selecting a dungeon via the party search button, the chosen dungeon will be shown automatically in the window.

7. If you register for a party multiple times, the waiting time for registering will be extended.

8. A window has been added after registering in a party where you can see the resonance grades and battle strength of party members at a glance. Added a ‘Move Up’ function to the ‘List of Applicants’.

9. The Eldrit Analyser is now available from Aranka.

10. You can now scroll the group search and applicants list with the mouse wheel.

11. You can now cycle dungeons and regions with the mouse wheel in the ‘Find Group’ and ‘Create Group’ windows.

12. The Equip button tooltip in the item socketing window no longer covers up the effect information of the last magic stone.

13. Added a feature which allows all Harconium Reactor mods to be identified at once.

★ Abyss Raid Improvements

1. Improved the drop rate of Abyss Magic Stones in the Abyss raid (normal mode).

- If you defeat the boss in the final stage of the dungeon, you now have a 100% chance to receive an Abyss Magic Stone, Abyssal Decontaminator or accessory cube (excluding Cradle of Origin).

12. When changing class while mounted, the character was no displayed.

13. If your MP dropped to 0 while using an effect which continuously used MP, such as the Portable Energy Coil, force active skills in skill slots were shown as inactive.

14. When deleting equipped gear and avatars, they were shown as newly obtained items.

15. The Reset button in the Customise → Emote tab (preview) was not clickable.

16. When clicking the Reset button in the Customise menu, the names were not displayed correctly.

17. Battle Strength was not correctly increased with the ‘Per +8% damage resistance: attack/magic attack +1%’ option.

18. Characters in the EL House you want to enter could be displayed in the wrong location in certain circumstances.

Welcome to all the new Knights heisting and rampaging across the New Boston zone! It's update time! With Update #53 we've focused on improving the balance and challenge of the latest mission that was added and hitting on the most highly reported F10s for this big sale and Scourge celebration week.

We're excited to be hammering out updates following up on the big Scourge release, so if you like the progress or think we're heading in the right direction please take a moment to leave a review and help us keep going!

Improving Bodyguard Mission
While we're prepping for the next mission add, we've also circled back to take quick action on player feedback about the bodyguard mission. We've adjusted the layout and types of enemies to raise the challenge a little bit - some enemy captains have appeared, more snipers are showing up correctly in the high ground - and also added a few security devices and long range Radar Arrays to deny your team easy access to the zone.


Buff and Debuff with Summed Upgrades
Thanks to all the players reporting with F10 that the buffs and debuffs shown on character and enemy status screens were missing some stats. These buffs and debuffs were printing out with only the starting stats for the Talents and skipping all upgrades. We've now resolved this and the buffs are printing their full sum of all class tree upgrades.

Avoiding Enemy Name Duplication
Thanks to all the players pointing out that occasionally the enemy naming system could spit out a series of duplicates. We've now resolved this and guaranteed that no enemy will ever have a duplicate name on any level - at the start or while spawning reinforcements.


Weapon Mod Detaching
We've fixed a few issues related to weapon mods not appearing when you attempt to detach them unless you changed the filters. They are now always visible and should be easy to attach and detach.

We've also fixed a larger issue with weapon mods that were left attached to weapons that were sold. These weapon mods kind of floated off into the ether, neither in your inventory or properly gone. In the short term, we've fixed this by gently shoving them all back into your inventory. Sell them or use them, they really are yours.

Talent Updates and Fixes
With Update #53, we've continued to fix and improve the Talent set for Scourge. We fixed an issue where Brain Worm reported that its range was 0m. We've also renamed the buff "Shred-Resistant Armor" to "Shred-Immune Armor" as that is much more clear about what it does (when this buff is on, nothing can shred your armor). It also turns out that the Brain Worm from before Update #53 was giving enemies Shred-Immune Armor, and that's not right! Fixed :D

We fixed the upgrades for Bio-Coat Bullet that just said "Target immediately" and nothing else.

This update contains three new story chapters that begin when Heitor's barrier has finally fallen. Inkbound is officially moving out of Early Access! This means that players will get to enjoy the full game along with some major changes the team has made to the design, balance, and content of Inkbound.

INKBOUND 1.0 DATE REVEAL!

Since first launching Inkbound in Early Access back in 2023, we’ve been focused on creating tons of new content, polishing gameplay, and incorporating player feedback for the 1.0 launch. Thanks to all your suggestions and bug reports, we’ve been able to include your most asked for features and find solutions to even the most challenging issues!

From new vestiges, combat balance, new tutorials, cutscenes, and new cosmetic sets. We’re also adding controller support and improving the game on Steam Deck. Inkbound will also be available in multiple languages, including Chinese, Japanese, and more!

For the lore lovers out there, you’ll also get to experience the last chapter to the Inkbound story we’ve been building throughout Early Access. Players will learn the secrets of the Atheneum and battle the true final boss!

And speaking of the launch…

Inkbound 1.0 is coming out on APRIL 10TH, 2024!

That’s right, the wait is almost over! And trust me, it’s worth it. Until then, we’ll be busy testing, re-testing, and testing again to make sure everything is as perfect as can be.

LAST EARLY ACCESS SALE & LAUNCH PRICE

Before Inkbound 1.0’s launch, we’ll be having another sale! Starting on February 28th and running until March 6th, Inkbound will be available for 20% off!

This will also be the last Inkbound sale before we increase the price of Inkbound to the full release price. On March 6th, the new price will be $29.99 with standard regional pricing in other currencies.

Why March 6th if the game does not come out until April 10th? That is a great question! The reason is that Valve does not allow developers to change their prices at the same time that they run a sale. So, in order to offer an additional 1.0 launch sale, we’ll be raising the price slightly earlier.
