Cursed Crew features:
You're the captain: Give orders to your crew, manage your resources, and keep your ship afloat when all hell breaks loose
A roguelite experience where every run is different. Choose your ship, grow your crew, pick from story events, and fight your way across the ocean
Ship-to-ship combat: Command your crew to fire cannons at your enemies, harpoon ships to drag them closer, board other vessels, toss bombs, shoot pistols, and fight for you! Or take out your own sword and fight among your crew. Deal with bloodthirsty pirates, killer crabs, walking sharkmen, floating skulls, and mini-bosses
Story events: Choose from story events in your captain's log upon exploring new locations! Pick between different choices to influence the story's outcome
Bosses: As you near the end of a run, face off against mighty enemies like the Flying Dutchman and the Pale Reaper in a final boss battle.
Survival: Endure harsh weather conditions, craft equipment and buildings to help you survive, and manage your crew’s hunger, sleep, and morale

About this playtest
Aside from receiving the amazing feedback and a bunch of lovely new members for our Discord, the team has always been very proud of being able to reach Round 50 in Survival. Yet, here you are reaching nearly 3 times that. Insane!
Shout out to QuickiSticki and Buddy for the impressive result (and record) of 137 rounds, and a well deserved applause to runner-ups Hagedama and PyXME with 131 rounds. We can’t wait to see what you’ll do at Early Access launch.

Gameplay wise, CONCRETE VISIONS is a first-person psychological thriller video game with survival horror, FPS and beat’em up elements. The project is heavily influenced by games such as Condemned: Criminal Origins and Fahrenheit: Indigo Prophecy, all wrapped up in nostalgic, PS1 throwback graphics.
Unlike most horror shooters, gameplay is heavily focused on melee combat and environmental exploration as you strive to survive the night. Concrete Visions aims to combine a disturbing photo sourced lo-fi atmosphere with nightmarish aesthetics to create an endlessly replayable gameplay experience for horror and retro FPS fans.
CONCRETE VISIONS follows the path forged by 2023’s Outer Terror - which was nominated for the Best Hidden Game Award at the 13th annual New York Game Awards, last month – as the third title, after 2024’s Disaster Golf, to utilize VoxPop’s groundbreaking profit-sharing model. Like these games before it, developer DOSMan Games has issued shares in the game’s sales to its team members through VoxPop’s Platform. When the game is released, its sales will automatically be divided between team members based on the amount they own.
By turning future profits into a tool, they can use to build, VoxPop hopes this model can ease the burden on independent developers, who often don’t have the up-front budget to hire specialist talent or afford the costs of keeping a years-long project afloat.

It's been a week since the early access release! Since then, we have had 12 small patches: fixing bugs and improving QoL. In fact, lots of important QoLs like Transport Preference, Max Transport Distance, Favorite Buildings, and Parallel Construction Transports have been shipped in these daily patches.
We have also reached more than 1,000 concurrent players! (SteamDB reports 1,060, and the game server reports 1,221). The server has been under stress but luckily there were only 2 crashes, both happened while I was awake so I was able to minimize the impact. Also, I am happy to see lots of players have reached Quaestor - I know the 48-hour playtime requirement is annoying, but it is the only viable way to keep the server running and keep the base game free.
I am grateful for the support I get from our community: we have volunteer moderators helping with game chat, we have translators helping localize the game (Now CivIdle speaks 11 languages!), and I have received several donations from the players helping cover the server expense. If you want to support the game and keep it running, I will release a "Supporter Pack" on Steam in the future, with some extra perks. If you have donated, feel free to ping me (@FishPond on Discord) and I will give you a supporter pack key when it is available.
We also have 100+ reviews on Steam at 75% positive (as of writing). For those of you who enjoyed this game, I hope you will enjoy this content patch! And for those of you who didn't, I know this game has rough edges here and there but I am trying my best to make it better every day and I hope at some point you will give it another chance.

Gameplay
Entering a new age will allow picking a new great person of each unlocked age (e.g. Entering the Classical Age will allow picking 1 Classical Age + 1 Iron Age + 1 Bronze Age great person). If you pick the same great person more than once, each additional great person will have a diminishing effect during this run. However, all of them will become permanent Great Person when you rebirth (e.g. If you have 3 Confucius from this run, pick the fourth Confucius will have 1/4 of the effect. When you rebirth, you will get 4 Confucius for permanent upgrade)
Extra Great Person from Total Empire Value will be chosen from Great People up to Current Age + 1
Misc
Version number format has been changed. The new format is 'X.Y.Z Build W'. Y will increase for the weekly content update. Z will increase for the daily QoL/hotfix update. W is a unique number that is produced by the build system. Patch notes will be written against X.Y.Z. If you want to report a bug, please include build number

First of all, we apologize for the inconvenience, especially to those who experience crashes. There are many reasons for this, but we have tried to act as quickly as possible and find suitable solutions.

VRAM overload and related crashes
Loading stutters in the first few seconds when you enter a level
No progress in the onboarding tutorial if you close the pause menu with "Continue"
Some additional caching solution
We will continue to work on optimizing even more and hope that this will solve the biggest problems temporarily.
