Before moving on to the patch notes we want to thank you for your support and patience. In May we will leave early access and we are saving all the final content until then.
Yes, we are aware that it is easy to advance, buy items and become very powerful at the beginning with the right talents, this is intentional. Test the content and if you find anything please write to us on X/Twitter, Discord, Steam, email... we will be attentive in case there is anything we have missed.

What's new
  • Some new dungeons have been added for more variety.
  • The logic of distributing enemies in the rooms has been modified, now the number of enemies in the rooms will be more consistent.
  • You can now attack by holding down (main attack) on the enemy.
  • Starting from the 13th floor, 2 new types of enemies will appear.
  • Added a descriptive message indicating the quality and level of forging unlocked when collecting a scroll.
  • Some weapons now have a chance to be left-handed weapons so it is possible to equip two one-handed weapons.
  • Boss legendaries are now favorites by default so you don't accidentally sell them.
  • Added a button when interacting with Drall to directly access the forge.
  • Drall's interface has been slightly modified to make the change between forge and shop a little clearer.
  • Gold has been added to the inventory.
  • Drall's decoration has been changed to progress with the story.
  • It is now possible to sort inventory by item type.
  • Equipment items dropped by enemies now have a border according to their quality.
  • Improved loot logic to prevent duplicate equipment.
  • 2-handed weapon attack area damage has been reduced.
  • New item in the rest area: chest. You can store up to 16 items that you don't want to lose, but don't want to take with you.

Bug fixes
  • Fixed a bug where the amount of health/mana was not displayed correctly on the bars. They appeared full, but numerically they were never full.
  • Fixed an issue where in dungeons on different floors the enemies on the upper floor would disappear when you went down the stairs.
  • An error that allowed items sold without having money to be recovered when changing stores has been fixed.
  • Fixed a visual bug with enemies dying from powerful nova damage.
  • Fixed a bug that prevented you from continuing past the second boss after defeating it.

Many games these days use AI or purchased pre-made assets from stores. And we are not here to judge anyone. There are many valid reasons for this (economical, time saving, etc).

The question is what about Portal Fantasy? Well in this magical world we have crafted for you we have used no artificial intelligence or purchased assets at any point to craft this experience for you.


We believe in the old-school magic of human creativity. Each pixel is handcrafted with love, all assets are made by our artists and each note is composed for our melodies that'll have you humming for days.



And to top it all we are insane demanding. So we made our own engine so have no limitations in terms of imagination. Just those random pesky bugs we occasionally find. But even those are temporary limitations.



Our team of talented artists, designers, musicians, and writers have been pouring their hearts and souls into every pixel, note, and word because we want you to feel the warmth of the creativity that went into making this game.



We believe that Portal Fantasy should feel like it is crafted by human hands and fueled by human dreams. Or nightmares...depending on what we are producing.

Cauldron 1.6 patch notes:

  • The True Power ending fix, made the ending easier to unlock.
  • Fixed ending map icons and animation.
  • Some updates to Experiments tab - now the sets are clickable.

Unsung Empires: The Cholas - tapasya
We were invited to Umagine 2024 at the Chennai Trade Centre on the 23rd and 24th, and it was quite the ride!

Day 1

We set up our booth at the AVGC gaming experience pavilion, which was coordinated by ELCOT, On the first day we managed to grab the attention of the crowd who were eager to try out our game. We had everyone from college students to Industry professionals giving it a try.

What really got us pumped was connecting with gaming veterans and fellow game developers who share our passion and drive.



Day 2

And then, on day two, we had the IT minister of Tamil Nadu, Honorable Minister Palanivel Thiaga Rajan, check out our gameplay! And not just him, but also Honorable Minister Udhaynidhi Stalin, the Minister for Youth Welfare and Sports Development, dropped by for a peek. It was surreal, to say the least.

We're super grateful to everyone who swung by our booth and to our amazing team who made it all happen.





The feedback, positive reaction and genuine excitement really fueled our passion. Hearing what you guys think means the world to us and is always a win in our book.

So yeah, a big shoutout to everyone who made Umagine 2024 an unforgettable experience for us. We couldn't have done it without you!

It's always a blast showing our Tamil game right here in Tamil Nadu. There's just something about sharing our creation with our fellow Tamilians that puts an extra spring in our step.

  • Fixed a crash which would happen when reaching the mid-event in the Warren 6-19 mission if the “Mostly ranged Enemies” Maelstrom modifier was active.

In this blog we’ll be taking a look at a familiar helicopter silhouette with a distinctly British twist. Meet the Wessex HU.5, which will soon be coming to the game in the next War Thunder major update. This important domestic rotary-winged icon will soon reinforce the British helicopter tree!

Westland Helicopters began work on the Wessex in the late 1950s after the relative success of their previous American origin Dragonfly and Whirlwind licence built designs. Following the acquisition rights to produce the Sikorsky S58/H-34, a singular S58 was transferred to Britain as a development and template vehicle. By 1958, a domestically produced and redeveloped version powered by a Napier Gazelle turboshaft engine, rather than the piston engine of the Sikorsky design, designated the Wessex HAS.1 (Helicopter Anti-Submarine), would take to the skies for the first time. Entering service initially with the Royal Navy, the Royal Air Force would later adopt the type too. In addition to this, the Royal Australian Navy and several other customers that Westland could sell too.

The HAS.3 would further enhance the systems on board the Wessex, followed by the HU.5 Commando variant. Primarily a troop transport and also utilised in the Search and Rescue role, the HU.5 employed a further improved power plant in the form of two Rolls-Royce Gnome engines. Serving all over the world from Cyprus, to the Indonesia–Malaysia conflict and the Falklands War, the Wessex was operated in utility, lift, transport and attack roles.

Retiring finally in the early 2000s, the Wessex was finally replaced in all major roles it maintained by the Westland Sea King which it had served alongside for many years.

Meet the Wessex HU.5!

The Wessex HU.5 is a British development of the already well known H-34 family. Domestically produced and improved, this modification is an attack variant of this famous helicopter that will provide a variety of ordinance options as well as a more powerful power plant. Let’s take a closer look!

While it might look visually quite similar to the H-34 that French and American pilots may be used too, the Wessex is quite a different beast under the hood! Powered by two Rolls-Royce Gnome engines, the Wessex has a significant power increase and performance over the Choctaw. The distinctive nose profile marks this helicopter’s main distinguishing feature compared to its piston engined counterpart. 




The Wessex also provides an expanded weapon arsenal over its counterparts, with both the AS.11 and AS.12 on offer. While these missiles can already be found on the Wasp, the Wessex can mount 2 of each at the same time. As well as this, you can take machine guns and unguided rockets to really maximise the flexibility that this helicopter offers. 

Interesting: The Westland Wessex served for 42 years in British service, one of the longest service lives of any British helicopter. It served in almost every major role, from Troop transport, Anti-Submarine warfare, Commando operations, Search and Rescue and even served as part of the “Queen's Flight”, carrying members of the Royal Family.




In your matches by Scott, Community Manager: “The Wessex will provide you with a very versatile all round platform to bridge the gaps between the existing British helicopters. It’s the polar opposite of the small and nimble Scout and Wasp, being significantly larger and more of a chunkier target, but you do however get to take the best of both of those and combine a loadout of AS.11s and AS.12s at once. Keep your distance initially and use your AS.12s first to deal with any SPAAs or stronger threats, then move in closer to utilise those AS.11s. Whilst you should not rely on them, the Wessex also has machine guns which can be useful in some situations for light targets or self defence. Giving you a great all rounder helicopter platform for your ground lineups.”
