Equipment upgrading system rates reworked. No item deletion will happen anymore. Chances to downgrade increased in compensation.
Launcher application signed. It should stop false positive warnings (antiviruses) + fixed an issue with resolution persistence.
New loading screens added.
🏷️ Item Mall Updates
Prices reduced for all the upgrading items on the Item Mall.
Reduced the prices of some packs of upgrade items.
New items added to the Item Mall: Book of Cross Class Change allow you to change to any class (of the same level), Gender Change Scroll allow you to change your character’s gender.
Upgrade Protection Gloves changed. It will reduce the breaking chance by 30% (just like Item Break Rate Reducer).
Added the duration bug information to the EXP potions (the time will be counted even when offline).
Upgrade and Downgrade Protection Gloves changed again. Upgrade will reduce the chance of failure by 30% (not breaking), Downgrade the chance of downgrading by 30%.
Another attempt to remove buff potion effects in wars.
🌿 Skill Changes
Updates to the Cyrene’s Instance skill: changed the icon, added description, fixed the second level effect.
Evasion Enhancement removed from Archer’s advanced classes.
Archer’s Focus reverted to the previous version with reduced range (700).
Wizard’s Ice Shield damage absortion increased closer to the previous skill description (absorb up to 3250 damage).
Fixed the Focus skill by excluding the immovable effect (it was left during the update).

Back Step’s cooldown increased.
📍Quests Fixed
Fixed some other occurences of “Towa Haunt 2F” in quest text descriptions.
⚔️ Sacred Wars
No war ranking is required to use the god of war sets (30 days version) anymore.
Attempt to fix the “surprise war” from 00:00 BRT.
Elite Guardians removed from all Sacred Wars (the robotic ones).
Regular Guardians will be much stronger now (the human ones).
Sacred War G3 and G2 times updated/changed according to the community poll. New schedules here.
✅ Buffs for Alt Chars
The exp buff applied for alternative characters will also be applied to maxed characters now as well. This may benefit those who use it to level pets.
📜 Skill Description
Eyes of Oizys skill description fixed.
📝 Guild Buff Skill
EXP earned by the guild buff skill increased to 5%.
🐎 Mount Fixed
Fixed the movement speed of some paid mounts.
All Black Bear mounts replaced with the correct version (30 days). The permanent ones were given by mistake.
⛏️ Crafting System
You can now craft crafting materials on the Town Anvil.
We have a new crafting system using Universal Fragments. Crafting will require always the same fragments (differentiating by level), monsters will drop them instead of the specific ones. Also, potion crafting was fixed and new materials can be crafted.
All existing old fragments replaced with the new ones.
Made it so all except first contamination road block are able to pass through without breaking stuff
Changed computer text on starting computer to not incentivize destroying the terrain.
Thought: After reading szederpg’s review I decided to dial back to destroying the environment for supplies, they brought up a good point that it feels like mashing the “use” button to find a secret door. Instead ammo boxes and backpacks will be found around. You can still destroy terrain, it will still give you items, but you don’t have to go around hitting everything in hope of getting ammo or hp.
Covered up tool box that I original made give ammo as an Easter egg because it comes off more as a glitch, the truth is the tool box is baked into the environment.
Changed position of dialogue text, increased font size
Added new destroy-able item Locker to find ammo
Reduced decay time of bodies from 25 to 10
Some optimizing of zombies (to increase FPS)

Increased zombie head hit box (this should make less missing or feels bad with the pipe)

Hallo my dear "Homaysers" (if you allow me to call you that 🙂),
Working on Unreal the past few months was both fun and tiring.
If you have noticed I didn't post anything regarding Homaysa for a few months. The reason for that is, Homaysa now is built in Unreal Engine 5 from the ground up instead of Unity. I have basically spent the last few months making the jump to Unreal and thankfully it seems to be working, with a huge amount of bugs of course.
As a 10+ years Unity dev, building Homaysa in Unity was so much easier but I have reached a point in which it become apparent to me that Unity is not the right engine to build Homaysa with.
What does this mean to you?
At this stage, probably nothing but in the future you will start to see that levels now have better art.
What happens to the old Homaysa game?
I have made a new branch in Steam called "old_homaysa" which has the older version of homaysa for those who would like to experience the older version of Homaysa that was made in Unity. To reach that branch you could follow this video on how to change branches in Steam.
Will it have the same levels?
You will find the new levels made in Unreal Engine 5 are prettier and different.

Where is the Mech level?
The mech death match level unfortunately was built in Untiy and that means its bye bye but with Unreal I have rebuilt the basic mechanics and added them to what I call the Mech football level. The reason for that is I honestly want a break from working on the mech level as it took me few month learning UE 5 while also making the basic movement of the mech. Before that it had taken me 3 month to make the basic movements plus the shooting and explosions in Unity which unfortunately wasn't released because of a stupid bug, life and because I also wasn't satisfied with it.
This is now in the new update, you don't have to wait for it any longer.
Multiplayer?
Yes, Homaysa still support multiplayer as I personally enjoy that. The mechanics is different though. In this new Homaysa players can create sessions, join and even search for sessions to join. Players can also mute levels when creating them if they don't want people (children) annoying them. However, voice chat is no longer spatial. Meaning that you will hear people talking in your ear 😵. I know, sorry for that.
Is it still buggy?
Yes. There are a lot of bugs. Hopefully they will be reduced with each update/patch. If you do hit a bug and would like to report it, I would really appreciate it.
