Racing with online leaderboards and ultimate abilities rework!
Here is the full list of changes:
Changes:
Gates of Bootylon now spawns 3 portals, increasing by 1 with each upgrade.
Gates of Bootylon portals now shoot the same projectiles as the player.
Gates of Bootylon now unlocks at level 60. If you had it unlocked at level 20 and your level is less than the new unlock level, you will have the feathers refunded.
Laser Eyes: Increased the base damage significantly and increased the damage with each upgrade by a lot.
Meteor Shower: Models have been changed to rocks. Meteors now deal 50 damage per meteor. Reduced the number of meteors that are spawned, but a certain number of meteors will now target enemies wherever you point the meteor shower to drop. Increased the meteor shower radius to make it easier to hit targets. Increased the velocity at which they are launched to 120 from 100.
Super Chikiyan: You are now invulnerable for the whole duration of Super Chikiyan, and the damage increases significantly with each upgrade (basically by 100% every upgrade). The duration has been reduced significantly at the beginning, but at max upgrade, it should last around a minute.
Stepping into water will now remove Burn Debuffs.
Rage is now saved.
Projectiles: Made the VFX a bit more explosive.
Main menu & pause menu: Will now again show a prompt for quitting the game.
Added racing.
Mini-map size increased.

Sound effects for burning and poisoned status.
Sound effects for all 4 of the ultimate abilities.

Fixes:
Projectile augment: The name and icon should now properly update in the effects view when a different projectile augment is applied.
Fire projectile ability: You can no longer shoot projectiles while the laser ability is active.
Meteors: Will now properly disappear when hitting objects.
Ultimate abilities: You should no longer be able to use ultimate abilities while driving or interacting with objects while in the process of using an ultimate.
Super Chikiyan and Gates of Bootylon: Rage is no longer spent while the ultimate animation is performed.
Buffs/debuffs with an infinite duration are now properly displayed.

Worked on the largest background

Worked on 4th Anniversary content
Getting the character sprites done is huge! Now I can finish blocking out all the scenes. I've made some progress on the big background, making lots of props and things. However, it's not yet "feature complete" (still missing the vital pieces of evidence which need to be there to solve the mystery). With the characters designed, I can create the suspect/victim dummies and finish the new casefile.
I also worked on features for Methods' 4th Anniversary, which is coming in April, so look forward to that!
This is a devlog post, that I would like to update of content I have been working on recently. A fresh perspective's introduced to Build mode, with more visible options while minimizing the unnecessary components. This creates a conducive environment for our brilliant starship engineer. Zoom feature and Screen moving have been introduced as requested by players. I assure you that these additions will greatly enhance your very gameplay experience.
What's other content has been taking time during February?
A new way to play the game, Turrets, they are the selectable upgrade you can find in shop or randomly when you get a recruit. There are current 7 offensive turrets and 1 utility turrets and of course, they are distinct. There are more unique upgrades and crews coming to the game as well.
Weapon's piercing and bouncing have received a minor change, they can be applied to any weapons with the help of certain crews or Premier Tune-up. Quantum weapons and Sonar weapons keep their innate piercing and bouncing but restricted.
Tune-Up is undergoing the third iteration, I am intending to revamp them to change how the weaponry function. For example, they can make weapons fire multiples projectiles, they can rotate around the weapons, logic tune-up that changes how an effect is triggered and you can even change the effect as well.
The game was a little too easy, so the jar is now a little narrower and the desserts are slightly bigger. Good luck!
The guideline is no longer an ugly green but a faint white. A cute little chalk board has been added to the table with a legend on it for you to know where you are up to.
Menus: Added a hint on the Wrestler Select screen that you can hold Y (R on keyboards) to randomize all following selections.
Menus: In the Wrestler Select screen, holding B (ESC on keyboards) now unselects all wrestlers at once and goes to the previous screen.
Moves: Disabled depenetration for several moves once letting loose: Back Drop, Body Slam, German Suplex, Powerbomb, Suplex.
Moves: The Back Drop now has the victim's position adjusted to the instigator's height and slows down for heavier victims.
Fixes
Matches: Fixed the countdown appearing sometimes even after the last participant has entered. This caused an internal loop that would never allow the match to end.
Menus: Fixed Attendance being unselectable when entering the Arena Setup screen.
Netplay: Fixed an error preventing that the same wrestler can be loaded up multiple times at the beginning of a match, causing connecting players to time out. This problem was specific to network games.
Physics: Fixed wrestlers occasionally being warped back to the center of the ring in the Training Gym due to overly strict world bounds.
All levels Volumetric blood (blood that sprays out and lands on objects) Added environmental story telling Blood just like... everywhere. Backpacks and boxes! New breakable objects giving small amount of of health and ammo.
The idea was for this patch to tone back the amount of health from medical boxes, and the amount of ammo from ammo clips, and make the player "live off the land" I think this feels way more true to my original vision.
