Time flies, and in the blink of an eye, it's already 2024. First of all, I wish everyone a Happy New Year! After a short holiday, it's time for another update in the development log~
This issue will mainly introduce the character pathway system that will be updated following the Demo version. Pathways are the most direct means of enhancing abilities for characters after breaking through boundaries.
The Demo version will offer a total of 6 pathways for each character to choose from. Each pathway includes corresponding "Pathway Exclusive Enhancements," as well as common "Basic Technique Slots" and "Core Technique Slots." Pathway Exclusive Enhancements reflect the unique characteristics of each pathway, progressing in three stages: "Initial," "Advanced," and "Ultimate," with two selectable effects for each enhancement. Technique slots allow players to freely combine unique enhancements. Each character will eventually obtain 9 basic technique slots and 3 core technique slots. Basic technique slots are typically used to cultivate common techniques, such as increasing attack power, critical hit rate, or switching the character's primary elemental attribute, enhancing the speed of removing poison, and so on. Core technique slots are usually used to cultivate techniques with powerful and unique effects, combining various techniques with pathway enhancements, which can have a myriad of effects on a character.
Various techniques can be obtained from exploring the map, defeating enemies for loot, purchasing them in sect markets, or as rewards for various tasks. After obtaining techniques, players can further refine them in corresponding sect buildings to further enhance their effectiveness.
We plan to update the pathway system and some technique acquisitions in the March version; the remaining content will be gradually released in subsequent updates, so please stay tuned~

Due to upgrades in the core of the RPG Maker MV game engine, previous versions of the game framework on Linux can no longer launch the game properly. Despite our efforts in multiple updates and tested, unfortunately, the newly created game framework cannot launch the game correctly within the Steam environment, for reasons unknown. Therefore, after numerous unsuccessful attempts and much deliberation, we have decided to cease direct support for the Linux platform. We understand that this may not be the news you were hoping for, and we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this decision may cause you. However, we have not forgotten about our Linux players. Through our tested, we have found that you can use the Compatibility Tools "Proton 7.0-6" provided by Steam in the Game/Application Properties to run the game relatively seamlessly. We hope this solution will help you continue enjoying our game. Once again, we apologize for any inconvenience caused and appreciate your understand and support. We look forward to the possibility of supported direct play game on the Linux platform again someday in the future.

Object 195
The Object 195 Main Battle Tank is one of the 1980s Soviet supertanks, intended to fight the next generation of NATO MBTs. It was developed in Nizhny Tagil by the experienced Uralvagonzavod design bureau (UKBTM), which was responsible for such legendary tanks as the T-72 and T-90. Much like other such prototypes, it was designed to be armed with massive 152mm smoothbore cannon in an unmanned turret. A single prototype was built and it allegedly passed state trials between 2008 and 2010 but the project was discontinued due to a lack of financing. You can learn more about it in our dedicated article.
In Armored Warfare, the Object 195 is a Tier 10 Premium Main Battle Tank and one of the most versatile vehicles you can get your hands on thanks to a combination of excellent armor, unmanned turret, 152mm hard-hitting gun and one special feature – the coaxial 30mm autocannon that allows you to take out unarmored targets without having to waste a shot of your main weapon.

Armata 152
The Armata 152 is a version of the T-14 Armata, armed with larger cannon. One of the upgrades considered for the T-14 Armata was the increase of its caliber to 152mm in order to absolutely, positively destroy anything with the first shot. The 2A83 smoothbore is a behemoth of a gun, designed in the last days of the Soviet empire for the next generation of super-tanks. It’s massive, heavy and quite costly to produce, but, most importantly, it was never truly needed to deal with the western MBTs since the standard 125mm guns were (and still are) up to the task. That is why it never found its way on any Soviet MBT with even the standard T-14 Armata being armed with an improved 125mm cannon. You can, however, experience its awesome firepower in Armored Warfare! Learn more about it in a dedicated article.
In Armored Warfare, the T-14 Armata 152 is a Tier 10 Premium Main Battle Tank. While not firing as fast as its 125mm counterpart, the 152mm rounds do enormous damage, often eliminating weaker opponents with a single shot. And then there’s the platform itself – the Armata, the most modern Main Battle Tank in the world. Earn it and use it to dominate!

Russian Airborne Camouflages

M-95 Degman
The M-95 Degman is an advanced Croatian prototype MBT, developed during the 1990s and 2000s. It is based on the previous Yugoslavian project, the Vihor MBT, which in turn has its roots in the improved T-72M series produced in former Yugoslavia. You can read more about its history in a dedicated article.
In Armored Warfare, the tank is relatively fast and fairly agile while carrying some potent firepower for its Tier. In fact, its owners can choose from two powerful guns:
125mm 2A46 Russian-style smoothbore gun, known from many Russian MBTs
120mm CTG NATO-style smoothbore gun that you know from the Challenger 1 Falcon MBT
It’s worth noting that the 120mm shells have higher penetration values and the gun can also fire Falarick ATGMs while the 125mm gun has higher damage per shot. Both guns will feature good handling as well as overall performance to offset the vehicle’s weakness, which is its mediocre armor. The Degman must rely on its mobility and firepower to survive, making it an ideal vehicle for aggressive, daring players.

ZUBR PSP
The ZUBR was a Czech privately-funded project by PSP Bohemia from the 1990s to develop a successor platform to the aging Soviet-era BMP-series IFVs and various other obsolete specialized vehicles. Even though it was quite advanced for its time, it was ultimately unsuccessful due to the end of the Cold War and the subsequent cuts in European military budgets, including the Czech one. You can read more about it in our dedicated article.
In Armored Warfare, the ZUBR PSP is a Tier 7 wheeled Premium Tank Destroyer. What makes it fairly unique is the fact that you can choose from two different weapon systems for this vehicle:
Cockerill CT-CV turret with 105mm gun
Four-barreled TOW ATGM launcher
Each of these weapons changes the gameplay style of the vehicle considerably and it is up to you, how you configure this powerful machine.

BWP-2000
The BWP-2000 IFV was a Polish attempt from the mid-1990s to develop a replacement for the license-produced BMP-1 in the Polish military, since it was getting obsolete by that point. Its protracted development led to its cancellation at the onset of War on Terror, leaving Poland without a modern tracked IFV to this day. You can read more about it in our dedicated article.
In Armored Warfare, the BWP-2000 is a Tier 7 Premium Armored Fighting Vehicle armed with 60mm cannon as well as a set of ATGM launchers. When it comes to AFV playstyle, the BWP-2000 is definitely more of an infantry carrier and fire support vehicle than a scout due to its large size and powerful armament as well as the ability to deploy Mechanized Infantry. It can take quite a bit of punishment and deal it in equal measure.

A new round of battles is about to begin, and the classic World War II themed strategy game "Armor Storm" will start its 264 server on February 26th. At that time, we will embark on a brand new journey with our commanders, master the power of armor, lead a powerful tank force, and engage in strategic battles!
After the "Ending Update" release, we have been rolling out fixes and beta builds for Kingdoms Adrift. Many of you are wondering where we are going next with future updates and maintenance. This article is going to address these curiosities.
The Retrospective Article

With the game completed according to its launch scope, whether good or bad, it was what we set out to do. We learned a lot from this experience, as it was the first game of the studio. I'd like to continue the tradition as an old-school game developer by publicly releasing our project's retrospective (or postmortem if you would have it that way).
I hope you find this article enjoyable to read and that it helps everyone who wants to learn more about our plans. Additionally, it may provide valuable insight for industry professionals interested in understanding Steam's recent launch.
What lies ahead for Airship: Kingdoms Adrift? We've consistently emphasized that Kingdoms Adrift is a complete game with post-sales services, and our commitment to supporting it has always been clear. If you just came here from the retrospective article above, you’d know that there are limitations to what we can improve further, given the state of the design and engineering. So, allow me to discuss those and address them before we delve into the roadmap to elaborate on what we can and will continue to do.
What we can't do? While we hold Kingdoms Adrift dearly as our first game, certain adjustments cannot be made without essentially creating an entirely new game. We believe it's more beneficial to learn from our mistakes and apply those lessons to future projects rather than continuously attempting to fix parts that are irreparably broken. These are:
Rewrite and retell the story
Enable engagement between NPCs
Improve AI behavior
Add more PvP features
Introducing more quest variety
What we will do in the upcoming months? Despite the limitations, there are still opportunities to enhance the player experience and gain insights into various aspects of design and technology. By leveraging our existing resources, we can make meaningful improvements and lay the groundwork for future projects.
Continuing the Beta Program: We're extending the beta session and opening up the Beta branch to the public. Confidentiality restrictions will be lifted, allowing everyone to switch to the Beta branch if they desire. We'll streamline our Discord server accordingly, and unless urgent, the new progress will remain Beta for at least a month before being promoted to default.
Maintaining Regular Updates: We'll consistently address bugs, adjust balancing, and improve performance to ensure stability. We'll also incorporate the latest hardware/software compliance standards whenever possible.
Implementing Automation to the Industry Feature: We'll focus on improving the well-structured Industry feature over time. Game designers will provide devlogs to discuss these enhancements and gather feedback periodically.
Further Addressing Issues with Travel Time: We understand the complexities involved in travel time between places, as discussed in the retrospective. We'll closely engage with the community to explore additional improvements in this area.
Expanding Modding Capabilities: Gradually, we'll introduce enhancements to facilitate modding. This effort aims to simplify base-level architecture for modders and provide players with options to customize their experience on aspects beyond our control.
Initiating a Community Translation Project: Due to repeated requests, we've made our localization file publicly available. In the previous update, we released the project’s .csv file. Additionally, we'll establish a localization section on Discord and kick-start the translation project there.

A small bonus in the in-game store is the symbolic “Telogreika” armor set. This armor set has the same characteristics as the entry-level Leather armor set but with increased durability. Also included are improved felt boots. This set of armor can be placed in your account inventory, and it can also be sold on commission.
Lunar New Year
The old man in a white robe thanks all the fighters for appeasing the spirits and leaves the WTLOnline universe. All fillers and components for creating fireworks have been removed from the game. Lunar New Year items will also be removed from the in-game store.
Premium status
Now Premium status increases the amount of clan points received when completing clan quests by 20%. This introduction will allow players to receive the points they need to develop their clan a little bit faster. In general, if a clan consists of active players who use Premium and actively complete daily tasks, then such an innovation can significantly speed up the development of the clan.
Other changes
The fishing rod is no longer displayed for characters wearing a biker jacket;
Fixed minor animation flaws in some animations of emotions;
Now through the inventory, you can only reload the weapon that the character is holding, and now the reloading animation will be played;
Minor bugs in the design of the “Eastern Territories” location have been fixed.
