Our Open Beta test for iOS continues, only now, with a major update!

Putt through Original Gothic, our brand new course addition to this Beta, alongside our other base game delights.

You can also enjoy a new "Manage Downloads" button which allows you to choose the courses you have installed and uninstalled.

There are also various minor bug fixes to enhance your performance even more.

Bosses & enemies - 4 days until Early Access release!

Cursed Crew - Mal

Yarr, mateys! Only 4 days until Cursed Crew releases in Early Access!

We're looking at some of the bosses and the enemies you'll encounter in the Early Access release of Cursed Crew.

Sea Witch

The beautiful sea witch is a mini-boss. She flies around your ship, seeking out crew members and attacking with orb-like projectiles and flying skulls. She switches between hovering and taking a melee stance where she summons knives from her hair to spear you with.

Flying Dutchman

The legend is true: The Flying Dutchman has come to take your souls. This massive ship is fast, merciless, and manned by undead souls. Armed with devastating triple repeater cannons and skull cannons, the ghost ship can rapidly overwhelm and sink any vessel.

In the future, we plan to add abilities for the Flying Dutchman to dive down into the water and reappear at different locations, as well as allow for ghost crew members to phase onto the player's ship.

Walking Sharks

These toothy fellows are not your friends. They board your ship by jumping out of the water, and they walk! They attack by leaping up and slamming their body weight against an area, potentially hitting many people at once. They're quite slow-moving and there's an opportunity to strike back when they've flopped down and need time to stand back up.

Flying Skulls

Horrifying projectiles fired by skull cannons. Upon landing, they transform into a living, floating skull that harasses crew members by chomping on them.

Ghosts, Skeletons, Ratmen, and Humans

Crabs

These charming crustaceans can be hostile, neutral, or friendly! If crabs appear on your boat, you can feed them to make them into friendly chums who will defend your ship. If left alone to starve or attacked, crabs will become hostile - their claws are sharp and they can lash out while jumping!

Pale Reaper

Did you play the Next Fest demo? This wicked vessel comes in three versions!
- Grapeshot and sniper cannons designed for taking out your crew
- Cannons and fire grapeshot cannons with incendiary projectiles that can quickly set your ship ablaze
- Heavy-duty cannons designed to breach your ship's hull and sink it

February update

Hey horror enthusiasts!
Here are the latest news about Freja.

Steam next fest

Steam next fest brought in a significant amount of new wishlists for the game as well as demo let's plays. We appreciate feedback we got during the next fest event. ːsteamhappyː

What has been done since last update

- Worked further with the story and one of the minigames
- Designed new areas of the school
- Fixed smaller glitches and issues with lighting, reflection and LOD of objects
- New soundtracks and more soundeffects added

What to do moving forward

- Fix a problem with the mouse cursor not being focused on the game for people using more than one monitor. This was mentioned in demo playthrough videos. I use just one monitor so I missed that
- Keep working on the last remaining storyrelated minigames to implement, work on the last puzzles and epilogue

Patch notes for version 0.8.0.0

World of Football Playtest - Rapalo

Gameplay:
- Added a brand new stadium: Vortex Arena
- Fix throw-in goals as valid in the tab widget (even with the rule activated).
- Fix the issue where pressing Alt + Tab would cause the player to slide tackle.
- Fix stamina refilling after timeout ends following a goal score.
- Fix throw-in double touch.

UI:
- Fix the issue where the game language doesn't save if you switch to another language different from the Steam.

Graphics:
- Visual changes in the Training Center.

Others:
- Added Friends feature:
- Added a "Friends Tab" in both the main game menu and the in-game ESC menu.
- Friend status visibility, showing whether they are online, offline, playing World of Football or engaged in a different game.
- Ability to invite friends directly to your current session.
- Ability to join a friend's session from the Friend List.
- Feature to check the server and score of the match your friend is currently playing in.
- Fixed some server performance issues.

We've Got WATER!

Happy Thursday folks!

This week I added some water to the world!

First I started with the main waves

Then I added waves behind the main waves

Finally, I finished it with darker waves at the bottom

And voila! A pretty cool water sprite!

I plan to add more details later but I'm happy with how it turned out.
