Last Epoch - EHG_Kain
Greetings Travelers,

Today is a historic day for the Last Epoch team and everyone here at Eleventh Hour Games (EHG). What started as an after-hours passion project has blossomed into one of the most anticipated releases in the ARPG genre, and we are blown away by the support we have received.

Thank You. Thank you to our families for putting up with us while we worked long into the night, and thank you to our community for supporting us even when all we had was a dream and a few vaguely Traveler-shaped pixels.

We look forward to seeing you all in Eterra, atop leaderboards, and expanding across time in the Monolith of Fate.

A few reminders:
  1. Server Queue:
We have implemented a server queue to help support the launch. However, if you’re interested in playing offline you can of course bypass any queue we end up having. You can find instructions on enabling true offline mode here: Last Epoch 1.0 Patch Notes

  2. Twitch Drops:
    Twitch Drops unlock TOMORROW.
You can find all the details you need here: Twitch Drops - What you need to know for Launch!
Be sure to link your twitch account here: https://twitch.lastepoch.com/

  3. Support:
If you are having issues with the game, the first step with Steam is always to try verifying integrity files, if that doesn’t resolve the problem, or your issue is account related, our support team will be ready and waiting right here: https://support.lastepoch.com/hc/en-us

  4. Updates and Notices:
If problems are encountered, be sure to join our Discord or pay attention to our socials, as those spaces are where we will have the most recent updates.

  5. Have fun! We’d love to hear your feedback on our forum as we aim to continue improving Last Epoch alongside you for years to come.
Thank you again,
Last Epoch Team
Level Zero: Extraction - George Kulko

Welcome to Level Zero: Extraction

Hello, mercenary. We have a job for you.
Over the past several months, we have been working on an updated vision for Level Zero. Today, our team at Doghowl is finally ready to reveal it, and we couldn't be more excited.

Apart from being huge fans of horror games like Alien: Isolation, we are also enthusiasts of titles like Hunt: Showdown. Throughout development, we've experimented with various gameplay mechanics. As a team, we concluded that blending ASYMMETRICAL SURVIVAL HORROR with EXTRACTION would yield a unique experience currently absent in the market. We believe the fear of losing your hard-earned loot after a failed extraction attempt will only amplify the horror. Needless to say, all pre-existing light and stealth mechanics will remain intact. Read more about the new features below.

This creative pivot should help us shape our game into a solid experience that all of us at Doghowl will be proud of. To ensure that, we're letting our players test it. The Closed Beta we announced a while ago is starting on March 15th! Go to our Steam page and click "Request Access" to participate:

JOIN CLOSED BETA
MARCH 15-18
https://store.steampowered.com/app/1456940/Level_Zero/

We will invite you to the Beta in batches, so if you're not selected right away, don't worry—you may have your chance later.

For a first peek at the reimagined gameplay, check out the new trailer below:

Now, let's talk about the main features of LZ:E.

â–¸ MULTIPLAYER EXTRACTION HORROR â—‚
Embark on a dangerous scavenging expedition where three teams of up to 3 mercenaries compete for loot and dare to come back. Or take on the role of two deadly alien monsters and hunt for human prey.

â–¸ HIGH-STAKES PvPvPvE â—‚
Venture out solo or with a team, and extract as much valuable loot as possible: weapons, gadgets, research data, crafting resources, and more. Cooperate, be a lone wolf, or betray other players. But remember: Death means losing almost everything that's on you. Other mercs compete for valuables and extraction points while player-controlled aliens lurk in the shadows, determined to hunt you down.

â–¸ BRUTALLY IMMERSIVE COMBAT â—‚
Devastate enemies with a vast arsenal of melee weapons like hammers, bats, and machetes, or engage in tense shootouts using pistols, SMGs, shotguns, assault rifles, nail guns, flamethrowers, mines, grenades, and more.

â–¸ DEEP PROGRESSION & CUSTOMIZATION â—‚
Use the loot you’ve extracted to grow your reputation with several traders and acquire better gear as well as unique items. Play as a human and a monster to level up and unlock new perks to develop your playstyle. Each firearm can be upgraded and customized.

We hope you are as excited as we are about this new direction we've taken. Before we let you go, there's something we want to share. Although there's no release date just yet, we are ready to disclose that LZ:E will launch in Early Access. It will allow us to develop the game under the watchful eye of our player base, implementing community ideas and listening closely to feedback.

Thank you for your sustained support and patience, everybody! See you on March 15th.

Rocket League® - Psyonix_Laudie

Hey everyone!

Following the release of the Arcade Playlists, we saw a lot of feedback about the desire to more meaningfully influence the Extra Modes in these slots. And while we understand some players want their favorite modes in the game permanently, it’s important that we balance the number of active modes to ensure high quality matches and reasonable matchmaking times.

Today we’re excited to introduce the new Dueling Arcade Playlist system to help address the above feedback. This new system allows the community to keep a favorite mode in the game almost indefinitely! Like before, there are two Arcade Playlists that rotate through existing Extra Modes. With the new system, the most popular mode after a week will remain available the next week, while the less popular one will cycle out and return at a later date.

If the two Extra Modes are generally unpopular on a given week, we’ll replace both the next week with Extra Modes we expect will be more exciting to the community.

What if there’s an LTM active? The LTM will replace one of the Arcade Playlist slots and the dueling Arcade Playlists system will be paused.

The first two Extra Modes in this new system are Speed Demon and Rocket Labs Medley. We hope this system helps you get more play time with your favorite modes!

Palia - Singularity 6
Hot off the Palian press! We’re throwing open the gates to Kilima Village for [GabeN] and all other players on Steam at 11 a.m. PT on Monday, March 25. If you enjoy swinging an crowbar ax, farming creeps crops, and b-hopping jumping into an ongoing evolving world story (yes, we’ve played one or two Valve games); then check out the steamy sizzle below:

So unless you’re still rocking a ball mouse, hop on-board the train (choo choo!) and wishlist Palia right now for free on Steam. In fact, the more Palians that Wishlist, the more opportunity for players to receive a snuggle-worthy free reward.

TL;DR
  • Palia launches on Steam on March 25, 2024.
  • Participate in our Steam Wishlist Event to get a (hopefully) gigantic reward!
  • Play wherever you want – there is no change to our existing PC gameplay experience.

Wishlist Event Reward: Giga-Frogbert
What’s more cozy than a Frogbert in-game plush? We’ll tell you: a MASSIVE Frogbert in-game plush. In fact, all players will unlock a Frogbert plush reward by logging in to Palia within 30 days of Palia’s launch on Steam. But let’s not stop there – the Frogbert plush will grow alongside our wishlists. For every 100,000 Wishlists, the Frogbert will increase in size until we hit 500,000 Wishlists, and all players will receive this kawaii, Kaiju-worthy Frogbert plush.

And we want you to play with your friends across platforms! You can play with your friends cooperatively, or with a little friendly competition, because Palia on Steam supports cross-play and cross-progresion between all currently available platforms. So you Steam stalwarts can rest easy knowing that you can play with your friends on Nintendo Switch and more.

So make like a Vortigaunt and teleport to the Palia Steam page now to wishlist the game so you can be first to jump in when Palia launches globally on the platform at 11 a.m. PT on Monday, March 25. We look forward to welcoming you to Xen Kilima Village very soon!
Pellet Dodge - Lyvri
The Soundtrack Price Cut
Hello everyone. I recently published the soundtrack for all of you to pick up. The thing was it was at a price higher than even what the full game will be, which is worth the effort, but not for the cool guys that actually want to buy the stuff. So, I have cut back on the pricing and it is going to stay this price.

The Future for Pellet Dodge
I want to thank everyone that has bought the game and enjoyed it, and I want to especially thank everyone who played it during its BETA phase and helping me over the past 2 years to shape the game into what it is today. The announcement I want to make is that Pellet Dodge will go on a development hiatus when v2.0 rolls out. I'll still do minor fixes, but v2.0 will be the last major content update for a while. This is still a long ways to go, but I just want to work on new things to show off what I can do. Pellet Dodge is something I'm proud of, but I want to make better and more advanced things, especially focusing on 3D. I have two games in mind, one is an open-world 3D RPG in which is my personally improved version of a game I like, but lacks in some features (spoiler alert it starts with a g.)

Anyways, I want to now lay out a sort of expected roadmap of what I have planned. So, here's what I will try to work on as follows:

v1.7 - Local Multiplayer support (so you can finally play with your friends), Endless Mode score changes, Endless Mode Content Overhaul, and General cutscene and storytelling improvements (again).

v1.8 - Steam Networking support (Steam-specific leaderboards and more...), Endless Mode Tournaments (Steam-exclusive for now, as it will use Steam Lobbies), and Steam-networked Online Multiplayer (so you don't have to make your friends suffer by Remote Play latency when playing with you)

v1.9 - CyberCity expansions and basic storyline, as well as fixes and polish to make sure everything is tip-top.

v2.0 - The full first Stronghold, Completion of the CyberCity (DLC), Part 2 of the Base Game (I cannot assure this can be another 40 levels, I'm lacking in enemy ideas), and hopefully more things finished that I started.

Keep in mind that this order of operations is more of a suggestion and some things may be pushed back. These updates are also going to take a long time, depending on the amount of effort and my work efficiency.

Again, thank you everyone, and let's have some more fun in what's to come.
ROBOBEAT - liam.gregory
Sometimes, a Revolver doesn’t scratch that itch and you need to get creative.

Here are two “guns” that, while not as fast as the Revolver, pack an almighty punch…

Flux

Get up close and personal with the powerful Flux shotgun. While it takes an extra beat between shots, the Flux is the perfect drive-by weapon when sliding past enemies.

The combos will leave you charrggged, feeling utterly bonkerz, and may even give you a1mbot! To execute the charrggged combo, charge and shoot to get a piercing round. For the other two? We’ll keep those as a secret for now.

Ping Pong

Who said weapons can’t be fun? Serve pain to your enemies and return any attacks with a backswing. Bounce the ball into the air and strike it three times in rapid succession for maximum damage!

There are no combos, as its rapid three-strike attack is capped off with one hell of an explosion. Volley to your heart's content!

Myth of Empires - ricoooo
Hey everyone! Myth of Empires V1.0 released today, February 21, at 17:00 UTC. Myth of Empires V1.0 costs $39.99, with a launch week 10% discounted price of $35.99. New county servers will be opened in batches on February 21 at 17:00 UTC, and on February 22 at 02:00 and 12:00 UTC.

The release of the game is accompanied by the new Dongzhou map DLC (free), and a DLC pack containing ten musical instruments, including the dizi, guqin, se, pan flute, pipa, sheng, suona, xun, konghou, and chime bells. Players can play these instruments as they wish, or even upload custom MIDI tracks to play.

Players who already own the game, including players who purchased the original Early Access version on Steam and players who purchased the International Vanguard Edition, will be able to play Myth of Empires V1.0 without any additional purchases, though they will need to manually claim the free Dongzhou map DLC. These players will receive a commemorative skin: Wu’an General’s Armor.

Watch the Myth of Empires V1.0 trailer:

Myth of Empires V1.0 brings players a whole new gaming experience. In addition to the map featured in the Early Access version of the game, V1.0 allows players to explore Dongzhou, an island map with a variety of new landforms to explore. V1.0 also introduces sea and air travel, allowing players to wage wars in innovative ways. The construction system has been expanded, as has the taming system; players will now be able to tame virtually any beast they find in-game. PVE gameplay has been expanded, new server options have been added, and modding is now possible, too.

Embark upon a new adventure on the free Dongzhou map
Behold the new Dongzhou map, which will be featured alongside the original map players experienced during Myth of Empires’ Early Access period. The new map is home to volcanoes, picturesque isles, sandy shores, ice floes, and bamboo forests. It also carries over the original map’s realistic day-night cycle, diverse ecosystems, and varied cultures of NPCs that have made the game such a hit among its devoted following.

Wage war by land, air, and sea
Myth of Empires V1.0 includes not only a large number of land-based vehicles of war such as siege wagons, ballistas, and catapults, it also adds gliders, giant sky lanterns, warships, and more. This opens up whole new domains to conquer and adds a wealth of new options to your burgeoning empire’s arsenal, but also makes combat more complex and challenging.

Build your empire from the ground up
Myth of Empires features a variety of structures made of wood, clay, stone, and metal. These include more than ten types of structures that can be transformed to meet your design needs. There are also different decorative items such as skins, lighting, and furniture to make you feel at home. Whether you want to build a modest farmhouse, a rustic town, or even a massive imperial city-state, Myth of Empires makes it possible.

A wealth of crafting recipes, with plenty of new additions
Myth of Empires features 1,300+ crafting recipes, covering everything from structures, tools, work benches, equipment, and weapons, to taming implements and culinary instruments. V1.0 features new animal-powered, semi-automated production and warfare equipment.

A menagerie of tameable beasts
Taming has always been one of the key features of Myth of Empires. In V1.0, animals now have new attributes that can be inherited and strengthened through breeding. In addition, Beast Lords can also be tamed to enhance your abilities in combat. Nearly all of the creatures in the world of Myth of Empires can be tamed to fight alongside you in battle, for transport, or to help you with resource collection and production.

Large-scale cross-server battles
Myth of Empires’ unique system of administrative regions such as counties and commanderies gives the game an epic feel. Through cross-server battles and large-scale battlefields like County Battles, Prefecture Battles, and Fortress Battles, players expand their territory, hoping to etch their empire’s name in the annals of history. In the future, new Season Servers will be launched to provide an even richer variety and wealth of battlefields to the game.

More PVE gameplay
V1.0 enriches the game’s PVE content with classic musical instruments to play, as well as servants who can dance for you. You can also simulate massive battles with new PVE siege training and bandit raids, collect free skins as you play the game, and accumulate proficiency bonuses, even from the game’s lobby.

More events
To celebrate the launch of V1.0 as well as the upcoming Lantern Festival, we will be holding a Lantern Festival event in-game with rewards for players to collect.

New personal server modes
In addition to official servers, Myth of Empires V1.0 also includes five personal server modes. These include solo mode, LAN, and online servers, featuring single servers and even server clusters. Players will be able to enjoy the game however they want. In addition to the Asian, North American, and European servers available in the Early Access version of the game, we are also adding official servers in the Oceania and South America regions, bringing everyone a smooth gaming experience.

A robust mod editor
Myth of Empires V1.0 features a mod editor. The possibilities are now endless! All modders are welcome.

Future development plans: additional civilizations!
New civilizations are coming, Persian, Greek, and Egyptian civilizations, with all of the new structures, weapons, tools, and equipment that entails.

The V1.0 release marks the beginning of a new era for Myth of Empires. Whether you are a fan of sandbox games, medieval-style combat games, or simply love building structures, taming animals, and exploring dangerous yet exciting worlds, Myth of Empires is the game for you!
