As we stated here before, the release went… bad… there is no other way to phrase it. As someone stated in the reviews.. “a real Roman drama”. Since then however, we hope, feel (and think) there has been a major improvement and wanted to update about that and where we think we are. It’s been less than a week since lunch, which was incredibly hard on us, but we were very busy releasing daily patches (sometimes more!) and fixing/improving as much as we could, based on the very harsh, yet the well-deserved feedback in the reviews and forums.
It’s getting better. We think most people (from what we’ve seen) would agree the game is in a lot better shape now – release crashes are gone, graphics are getting better, quests and the game overall, work without major issues. We still have a lot of work ahead of us, before that game plays as it was intended and fits what was promised. We know this. We really are working non-stop to assure this happens as fast as possible while we try to communicate with you as much as we can. As stated previously: we are reading every comment and we base what we are improving and fixing based on that.
We wanted to thank you for being with us and for so many of you being so understanding about this, for helping us improve, reporting bugs, problems and desires while so many of you were so positive and supporting about the whole thing. We also got whipped a *lot* by our citizens during the past week - but that’s ok - we sure know that slaves just need whipping once in a while, in order to learn. Love and fear need to be balanced. You are all TRUE ROMANS!
Things that we are currently working on, in that order:
Making sure ALL game quest lines work without any issues (we already fixed most big issues and most quests work fine, but we still have a lot of work).
A better guiding system for quests (we already added a walkthrough link in the game, which we feel improved this a lot, but we are also working on a big map and a much better quest guidance system).
Better graphics and animation, mostly for characters (already improved some things like textures, and are working on better animations and new hairs)
Better optimization (again, we already feel this was improved a lot since the release, but we can make it even better)
After this, as we mentioned many times, we will also keep adding more content to the game, for a long time.
Things that were fixed/improved already, since release:
Fixed an issue where the mouse cursor would get stuck at the middle of the screen
Fixed an issue where you could not talk to Maximus while the tutorial was active.
Characters should now look better on lower settings. No more orc faces.
Changed some problematic character textures that caused crashes
Added icons to minimap for NPC and Locations
Fixed an issue when undressing slaves lead to the "sky bug"
Fixed clothes toggle during punishment
Fixed male animation at pillory
Fixed female not using strapon when fucking male on pillory
Fixed a UI widget not pausing the sex scene
Improved Chinese font
Minimap will show Locations and points of interest on all maps
Improved lighting and shadows across different quality settings
In today's update, we focused on Quality of Life improvements and a few other minor adjustments. As you may notice, we've introduced a Russian translation (still a work in progress).

Added a tooltip that displays when a Core needs to be unlocked through a specific achievement, including the achievement's description.
Players can now select their currently equipped Components using control sticks for easier navigation.
Implemented a smnall delay to prevent immediate power-up selection using the spacebar.
Adjusted the Drone Deployer attack by reducing its volume and pitch for better audio balance.
BUGFIXES
Fixed a bug where you could endlessly accumulate the fire rate bonus from the Rapid Fire Augmentation Overload.
Fixed a bug preventing the unlocking of achievements on Steam.

It's a pleasure to write to you about this exciting update that has me truly thrilled. The story of one of your favorite characters, Wendy Woods, has been transformed!
Although the canonical events remain intact, I have made changes to some dialogues, added images, and included small puzzles to enrich the experience.
Now, to unlock the "fun" with Wendy, it is essential to complete her main story (by visiting the mountain family).

Shiver me timbers - Cursed Crew releases in Early Access in just 8 days!
We’re counting down the days with dev blogs covering the game’s features and sharing stories from development. Today, we’re looking at the different crew members you’ll encounter at sea, including humans, ghosts, ratmen, and skeletons. Each crew member type has their own characteristics that sets them apart from the other types.
You can encounter these crew members through story events. Perhaps you agree to transport strange-looking passengers, or your ship becomes haunted, or you spot an enemy ship full of horrible creatures in the distance.
Humans
Humans are the best at ship operations with their excellent hand manipulation. (Those fingers come in handy, unless the scurvy got ‘em…) Humans operate the cannons faster so you’ll want them on the deck, and they’re quicker to fire and reload ranged weapons. Overall, they’re your go-to well-rounded sailor to have aboard!
Ghosts
These poor souls are caught between life and death. They shift between their physical and ghost forms, materializing when it’s the right time to attack. They’re quite slippery and their health regenerates over time, making them dangerous when forgotten about.
Ratmen
These subspecies of humans are cute in their own horrifying way. They live in large packs and they’re wickedly fast, but quite feeble in battle. They tend to win by overwhelming their enemies with sheer numbers.
Skeletons
These gruesome beings are afflicted with an undying curse that continues to resurrect them over and over again. They sail the seas in agony, looking for their next victims. They have no mercy and cannot be reasoned with, so blunt damage and explosions will quickly dispatch them. (Until they rise again!)

This is a quick announcement to let everyone know that local multiplayer is finally featured within the demo. This means you can now support four (4) people at once while playing our game! As with every update or change, there are a variety of small bug fixes and changes that we did based off feedback from the people who played our game. So keep letting us know what you think (and keep pointing out issues you find, which you can let us know at justmakegamesdev@gmail.com )!!!
As a progress report, we are still working on a lot of the polish throughout the game, as well as filling in missing details that we waved off as "future work" in the past. We still have some time before we feel confident about giving a hard release date for everyone, but we should hopefully soon have an idea of when this would be.
