Deadlocked - Levanek
The first patch is out! Here are a few gameplay changes I've made :)

Shop Changes

-Changed and adapted prices of various shop items
-Adapted shop UI to be more interactive when the player has their cursor over the purchase button
-Heal-Billy has "voice" lines :)

Gameplay changes

-Big Doink and Eradiactor can kill a limited amount of enemies now for both balancing and technical purposes, Scrap slap is next :(
-Player could now dodge through enemies
-Player could no longer collide with Prize Bombs
-Prize bombs no longer shoot confetti (less screen clutter)
-Player could now view current blueprints using TAB

Arena Changes

-Enemies are now object pooled (Within play testing phase), hopefully this will allow for a more optimised experience when there's a lot of enemies on the screen
-Balanced and adapted waves for a slightly more forgiving experience
-Survival mode now has 3 boss fights with varied difficulties, next steps will be adding visual changes
-Added visual and audio queue to Abso Units ranged attacks

+ Some other thingymabobs :)

The World Tour is coming!
  • all players have been divided in divisions based on their XP. You will be able to move (or down) depending on your world tour ranking.
  • go to the Tournament section to look at your current division and rank
  • wave rankings are now filtered by division (you can turn that off in the settings)
  • world tour schedule will be announced soon
  • PVP ranking is gone

Free camera movement and media capture
  • you now pause the game and move the camera as you want to take screenshots
  • new integration of Omni/ to easily capture screenshots and videos of your gameplay

- Trigger condition changed to match other Martyrs (“When Xi, Martyr of Peace is killed by an enemy, Transform all enemy Characters into 3/3 Flying Spirits and your Fortress heals 15 damage.”)

Insane Reliquary
- Cost decreased from 3 to 2
- Card reworked to: Whenever you discard or remove a card from your hand, give a random deployed character you control and the top character in your deck each +1/+1. If you discarded or removed another Insane Reliquary this way, give each of those characters +3/+3 instead.

Goal: This rather toothy and wordy card is back in the shop by popular demand, being reworked and increased in power. Previously, it was too slow and unpredictable to be worth playing. The addition of stronger removal synergy may also make a fun deck or two.

Hello Gamers!

Great news for those who bought The Fallen Night...

We're announcing that we're coming soon to multiplayer (no bots at the moment), story mode (GTA style), mmorpg mode, mini-games (some may take longer), commander mode, 2D and 3D fighting modes, brawl mode, and maybe a few more modes, plus a lot of amazing improvements, and we're going to work on expanding and/or remodeling existing maps and perhaps creating new maps that can be included in the next update or in some other future update.
You should also know that The Fallen Night Remastered Edition will arrive soon, it is only an edition with slightly improved graphics thanks to Unreal Engine 5 and some tricks but it is an Early Access edition where it is not recommended to focus on progressing since with future updates it is likely that you will lose the saved data, however if there is a lot of chaos then it will be taken to Unreal Engine 4 to integrate into the same version of TFN, the Remastered Edition is already included in the standard TFN package.

New Systems:
Story: Unarmed combat, horseback riding, skill branch, class fusion, love affairs, socialism, concealment, and recruit for your squad.
MMORPG: Companions, Pets, Stats, Talents, Mounts, General Chat, More Attack Skills, Inventory, and Leveling System.

New Classes:
Elite, Spy, Pikeman, Spearman and Mage.

At the moment, the current version of the game is unstable - this is due to a large change taking place in order to allow easier translation. The next update (which should be along soon) should stablise things.

Swordai Playtest - castavernas
This patch expands on some of the changes in 0.4.1 with the following.

  • Fixed a camera issue when holding an up block while landing from a jump. As part of this, also changed the way the jumping animations work so they also should look a fair bit more smooth when you are doing left side attacks in mid air.
  • Added a popup at startup that dynamically pulls from an HTML file so that I can share information with playtesters more easily without updating the game
  • Add links to the discord, the wiki (see below) and the steam page into the game
  • Swordai will have a wiki on wiki.gg shortly, it is still in construction so right now the wiki link in the game will take you to a password protected page, but it should be functional sometime next week.
  • Updated the appearance of the boss room in memories and tweaked the fight a bit, see screenshot below
  • Added a bunch of achievements and stats that will drive the progression through the existing portions of the game during the first playtest. Currently almost everything is still unlocked but that will change next week. Currently the new achievements all share the same icon, it will be that way for a bit.
  • Made it so you have to S grade the previous kata to unlock the next one
  • Added a pure difficulty to challenges that you unlock by S grading the base version of the challenge.
  • Made it so that if you have no internet when you try to bank essence that it eventually gives up and takes you to the main menu.
  • Changed thrill of the hunt to refund stamina on hit and reworked second chance to heal on block.
