They look similar to teardrops, however play quite differently. They haven't been added to all random yet, but will be at some point in the future (I want to be sure they are not too unstable first)

Valentine's Day Holiday Pack Pre-Patch for release at 1PM today 2/14/2024. Plus some fixes:
Fixed an issue that sometimes caused guests to show up to the party without appropriate attire.
Added reminder text in the customizer to create or select a preset when the Default preset is selected.
Only one Holiday Pack can be active at a time now. This only affects decorations and story content. All Holiday Pack clothing items will always be available in the customizer as long as the DLC is installed.
Improved main menu lighting and shadows.
GBK undershirt is now available for Derek in the customizer if you have the Solar Flare achievement.
Optimized story and texture memory usage, which in most cases will result in less memory usage, especially on Potato graphics settings. In some cases memory usage is decreased by 1GB+.
Improved loading of characters on the main menu. They now only appear after clothing and textures have been applied.
Fixed a couple of issues that would sometimes cause swapping customizer group presets to not work correctly.
Please be aware that from 07:00 CET on 15/02/2024 (22:00 PST on 2/14), the Conqueror’s Blade servers will be inaccessible. The downtime is expected to last for 4 hours.

The backstreet clinic has been reorganised a little. Excessive visits and usage at the clinic might mean being asked to stay away for a short while. Put a harder cap on organ harvesting for the clinic. The clinic won't chase you for newly incurred debts for a few days now. Removed the debt cap at the clinic for emergency treatments. - There will be more stuff at the clinic soon, especially relating to body modification.
One-off improvement for Getting bigger, Getting smarter and Getting toned for characters will existing trait increases. - This is based on the character's stats but is very rough.
New artwork.
Fixed a problem with Looking out for Lisa. Fixed the T's Dream spike getting stuck. Fixed the incorrect gifts from lovers for Ann and Irene. - In Ann's case, you'll only get the fix if you got the same thing again as you did last year, otherwise this gift is valid even if the description is wrong. - In Irene's case, you'll get the gift automatically even if you've not swapped gifts (no way to debug it in more detail). You can request the content you missed. Fixed a missing Jettel 33-g rifle if you should have one but don't. Fixed some typos and other minor bugs.
Balance: Science! has Core gaining cap removed. Now, if you play this card when having any Cores you discard 1 random card and the card gets Strain.
Balance: Field Flux has Core gaining cap removed. Now, if you play this card when having any Cores you discard 1 random card and the card gets Strain. Removed the conditional "gain 1 mana" and replaced it with cost reduced to 0
Balance: Quantum Flow has Core gaining cap removed so the additional effects (giving 1 mana and drawing 1 Contraption) always work. Now, if you play this card with 2 or more Cores the card gets Strain.
Balance: Stable Influx has Core gaining cap removed so the additional effects (giving 2 mana and drawing 2 Contraptions) always work. Now, if you play this card with 2 or more Cores the card gets Strain.
Balance: Playing Terminate or Sugar Rush cards now gives you a one-turn influence where you don't discard cards at the end of this turn
Balance: Pop-up Shield increased block given from 2 to 3.
Balance: Duct Tape reduced cost from 2 Cores to 1 Core, reduced Block given from 6 to 5 each turn
Balance: Tough Tabard changed cost from 1 Core to 5 Screws. Increased block given from 15 to 20
Balance: Furor Divinus card cost increased to 5 screws and 2 cores and influence effect to "All heroes draw 1 card(s) for every mana you gain"
