  • Updated UI: Blacksmith UI overhaul.
  • New "?": Starting Dummy (part2) (only appears if certain conditions are met).
  • Balance: Illdrake knight sword slash in phase 2 no longer electrifies the floor.
  • Balance: Illdrake lightning wall collision box size slightly reduced.
  • Balance: Undead dog explosion damage reduced from 29-30 to 0 to 25-26.
  • Balance: Players minimum jump height increased.
  • Bug Fix: Corrected the blood rage localization values for english.
  • Bug Fix: Corrected mimic close range hitbox attack, it should no longer hit players when they are behind it.
  • Bug Fix: Wendigo summoned corpse has a bigger hitbox so it's easier to hit with daggers.
  • Bug Fix: If using a controller and can't afford anything in the shop, the close button is now automatically selected.
  • Bug Fix: When saving data, now forcing data types to be correct ones, as it saved wrong data type before corrupting the save file.
  • Bug Fix: Corrected Illdrake feet hit boxes.
  • Bug Fix: No longer can double jump if you keep spamming jump.
  • Bug Fix: If you use 2 skills at the same time, the game no longer messes up the projectiles.
  • Bug Fix: Corrected the perception upgrade description text.
  • Bug Fix: Visiting some "?" in forest level, prevented some "?" from appearing in city ruins. Now all city ruins "?" will appear correctly.
  • Bug Fix: Can now unequip a second slot item if you are not wearing something in the first slot.
  • Bug Fix: Can now rebind to "Mouse 4" button in the keyboard bindings.
  • Visual: Reduced light strength on the undead wizard's lightning ball. It no longer visually merges with certain buildings in the background.
  • Visual: Blessing text layout modified.
  • Tweak: Skill speed blessing name and description modified.

The Missing Parts of Maria Gwozdek - xlomid
It’s been exactly a year since "The Missing Parts of Maria Gwozdek" released on Steam, and over 5,000 people have played it since then. As you might guess, Maria herself is not a huge fan of birthdays, but this occasion feels meaningful to me and I want to use it to thank everyone who has played the game. I am grateful beyond words to all the people who have reviewed the game on Steam, streamed it, and/or shared it on social media or elsewhere.

I also wanted to let you know about what the future holds. I don’t currently plan to add more endings or updates: the branching story feels complete to me as it is. I would like, eventually, to create a different story set in the same universe. This new story would explore what other fairies exist out there and what kind of things they get up to. I’ll keep everyone posted when I have more to share on that project.

A few of you have asked about localization. I am open to localizing “The Missing Parts of Maria Gwozdek” into other languages. That said, I don't have the capacity (linguistically and physically) to do this alone. If anyone would be interested in translating the game to their native language, please reach out to me at xlomid@gmail.com.

A few fixes and a few new features.
Im aware of the save/load bugs happening when transitioning into the dungeon as well as the quests getting stuck when loading. Rest assured that im working on it!

glass as a craftable resource in furnace
glass bottles as cratable resource in workbench
killing enemies while having empty glass bottles fills them with the seed of that specific creature, seed can be used to craft summons at research bench
craftable wooden dildo, if used it plays a masturbation animation (3 in totalt available, all made by @gu3st)
buildable bear traps that can be placed anywhere. Enemies caught will be stunned for a few seconds and take damage
